Concealers -Maybelline - Shine Free Blemish Control Concealor

This has been my staple concealor other han Mary Kay's. I use this more often since it has Salicylic Acid to combat acne. I use Natural Beige for winter and Tan for summer. It is not as pigmented as MK's but it is enough to do the job. It conceals red irritated pimples/blemishes while helping to dry and heal them. I find that I overuse it sometimes and end up with dry patches of skin. That happens with any acne fighting products though. I feel good knowing that my concealor is doing double duty. It is around $5.00 for a good size tube. It lasts a good while. The shades are quite limited though. I am not immensely impressed with this product because I have a feeling that I can find something better out there but for now it is good.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip D'Votion

Simply Strawberry was okay. The color looked cloudy. It did not seem as glossy as Caboodles lip dee-lish version. This is a bit sweeter too. Has a bad aftertaste if you apply too much (made me feel ill). Would not buy again.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Shake

I got this in Choco-mallow. It left a nice shimmery pale color on my lips. Smelled good but was a bit too sweet for me to wear for long periods of time. I found myself wiping it off after about 15 minutes each time.I liked the packaging tho. Very cute and attractive.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Teflon Tuff Nail Color

Excellent polish! My aunt raved about this to me. She is a nurse and constantly washes her hands at work. She said these polishes do not budge.I picked one up in Pink Metal (almost lke Chrome nail makeup but with microglitter). Gorgeous color! It wore wonderfully just like she said. Better than OPI. Wish they had better color selection though.

Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Lengths Waterproof [DISCONTINUED]

I had to re-write this review. This is the most awesome mascara on this planet hands down!! Something about the tube and applicator makes this formula glide on your lashes easily WITHOUT any clumping. This is the only mascara that truly creates long luscious lashes on me. They look like I have fake lashes on! I never thought a product could really do that. (see L'Oreal's lash architect mascara ad- complete bulls@!t...) And if I want long AND fat lashes, I use the Volum express over the Illegal lengths formula(Volum is incredibly gloppy so apply with care). This is the one mascara that I absolutely will not be without ever again as long as they keep making it. A++++++++++++++ OH - and another rave - this mascara also keeps my lashes curled ALL DAY LONG without stop! Sheesh I can't get over it! This really is the best!

Lotions/ Creams -Suave - Naturals Moisturizing Body Lotion

An great lotion for the price and the amount you get! Vanilla has to be my most favorite. It's a true vanilla scent not some icky BBW Vanilla Spice Sugar garbage.The other scents smell great and are comparable to pricier mall brands. Overall a great product.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express Waterproof

This was a decent mascara. It didn't smell strong like others I've tried. It kept my lashes beautifully curled all day. It thickened my lashes. It lengthened them a tad. The applicator was easy to use. The formula was suprisingly not gloppy like I was expecting. The only rant is that it flaked onto my cheeks a little throughout the day. Minus one point for that.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Glossicles Juicy Tubes in Citrus Wish

It's actually "Citrus Wish". This is my third Juicy Tube. It looks dark in the tube but goes on a sheer coral. It does have more pigment than my Fizz and Miracle JT's. I love it! I think they may have discontinued this shade?? Not sure. They needa quit doing that. Irritating.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colourjuice - tubes

I got Cherry Fizz in a swap. Smells sweet (cherry?) but not a sweet sugary taste like I thought therer would be. It gives your lips a nice sparkle just like the cousin brand Lancome JT's. Its half the price but I don't like how they all smell like cheapo cherry kool aid.

Skincare - Face -Mary Kay - Calming Influence

Mixed feelings about this one. I *might* get this again if I can find it at half price. When I got a slight sunburn the other day, I remembered Missy's review. I dabbed some on my burned spots and felt relief instantly. My burn did not bother me at all after that and went away pretty quickly. It smells so nice too. I am sure I can find something to help my skin at the drugstore the way this did but I had it laying around from my rep days and of course didn't want it to go to waste. This is a nice luxury item but very overpriced. Sheesh MK you're not high end.-----------------------------UPDATE: I used to love mk products but found out a lot of interesting information on pinktruth.com regarding the products and company. Turns out they are a bunch of scam artists after all. So sad.

Treatments -Mary Kay - Acne Treatment Gel

this is the only acne gel that works for me. i cannot find another brand with just .5 of bp anything higher than that hurts my skin. when i use to break out once a month i would use this as a mask. id apply a thin layer at night and by morning the blemishes are almost completey gone. i have been using this for 10 years now. my skin has changed drastically in that time frame from oily combo to dry normal. these days i dont need to use it as a mask but i do spot treat and it still works like a dream. the best acne cream i have ever used. ever.

2007 UPDATE: This is very plain and overpriced. I've used it for a few years now pretty consistently and I don't really notice anything special about it. That was the first thing I noticed most. I love how it's a 24 hour wrinkle/fine line fighting system. A great investment in myself. I also like how the Day Solution smells like lemon pound cake IMO. I can't wait to see my skin condition 20 years from now from by using this. No surgery for me!! =0D

Conditioner -Nioxin - Scalp Therapy

My staple conditioner. Makes my scalp feel to minty fresh! My hair has become so managable after using this. It's recommended to use this after the 1C shampoo to get full benefits of prevented excess hair loss and promoted hair growth. But I use to have a bit of a dandruff problem before this - not with this product! Gr8 Stuff! UPDATE - I haven't used this in awhile because of its price but I picked some up again the other day from JC Penny because it was on sale. I love love love this stuff. So refreshing! makes my hair so clean and fresh. It does work too. Since my hair is so long I just use it on my scalp area and use my fave regular el cheapo conditioner on my ends.
