Eyes -Ardell - False Lashes - #105

I tried these for the first time for Halloween. I am in love. I have tried other lengths not from Ardell, though, and these are by far my favorite. They are natural but dramatic. They give length and volume, which is exactly what I was looking for. I am hooked.

I just picked this up the other day and wore it for the first time yesterday. In short, I really like it. It's a very sheer red that is very natural looking. The shine is decent, but it's not HYPER. It lasts fairly long. For a buck, I'd buy again, no question.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational ~ Red Revival

This is my new HG red lipstick. I wore it for the first time to a Halloween party and it performed fabulously. I made sure I used foundation on my lips and lined with a nude liner to insure it didn't bleed or feather. It worked perfectly. I only had to retouch once. It's very moisturizing and the color goes well with my fair skin. Definitely recommend - the price can't be beat!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Insta-Dry Fast Dry Nail Color

I have this polish in a Uptempo Plum. I love the color and how quickly it dries but the formula is very thick and tends to dry out quicker than the other polishes I own. This makes it difficult to get an even coat on my nails. It also chipped fairly quickly as well. The brush is rather wide but that's not a big deal. I wish the formula was a bit thinner so that I didn't have to dump it so soon. I even added some polish thinner hoping it would help and sadly, it didn't. Overall, I'm more impressed with other Sally Hansen polishes. This one is a little more expensive too - which is also unfortunate given it's performance....

Cleansers -Boots - Botanics Skin Brightening Deep Clean Gel

So, I've been a Cetaphil gal for years but recently, I developed an allergic reaction to it so I began my quest to find a new cleanser. This is by far, the best cleanser I've tried - better than Cetaphil, in my opinion, at least for me. I had oily, acne-prone skin and have been using this for about a week. have noticed the little red bumps that were on my forehead have disappeared. Additionally, even when using Cetaphil, my t-zone used to damn near drip oil, especially when I first wake up. Well, with this Boots cleanser, that has ceased altogether. I wake up with no oil, not even a trace. It's fabulous! Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this is going to be my new HG cleanser...oh and the smell!! I love the fragrance and how clean my skin feels after....go Boots!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Palette - Pride 247 [DISCONTINUED]

I've had this for a while but haven't gotten around to reviewing it. I love this little palette. The colors are highly pigmented and the payoff is great. I use concealer as primer on my lids and it really helps make the colors pop. The mattes are truly matte and the shimmer are not over the top with shimmer. Definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Lip Treatments -Carmex - Cherry Lip Balm SPF15

This is my HG lip balm - I go to this before I go to any gloss. I've been a loyal Carmex girl since high school. I love how it conditions my lips and heals them when they are dry and chapped. The cherry scent is fabo I <3 Carmex!

So, I'm on a mission to own all the CLEAN fragrances. I already worship Warm Cotton and after trying this on @ Sephora, decided this was the next one to get. I don't regret it at all. While I prefer Warm Cotton over this, I find that the more I use this, the more I like it. I'm not in love YET, but I'm getting there...Fresh Laundry or Summer Linen is next...

Got this as part of my free b-day gift....meh...not impressed...clumps too easily, flakes & smudges. I'll stick with my Maybelline Full & Soft....much better and cheaper!

Meh. I tried this because Marlena of MUG (Make Up Geek) swears by it and her lashes always look amazing. Well, I wasn't impressed by anything. The product was watery and the brush had tons of it on it when I pulled it out of the tube. For $9, I expected more...I'm sticking with my Maybelline Full & Soft - now I know why this is my holy grail mascara - it's cheaper and does a much better job!

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Voluminous Marker eyeliner

Okay, so the only reason I even gave this a try was because it came as a bonus with the mascara. I was 'meh' on the mascara and I'm 'meh' on this eyeliner. Maybe I haven't used it enough, but I found that it's really rough on the eyelids. Not as smooth as I had hoped. I'll still use it because I need black eyeliner, but I won't purchase again.

I really like this quad. The pigmentation is good in the darker colors. The two lighter colors are good for highlighting and blending and great for the inner corner of the lower lid. I really like this quad and for $1 you can't beat it.
