After all these years of searching, I finally found my "holy grail" foundation. I have used many high end and drugstore brands over the years, and none were quite right. Always a problem. I finally tried this because with my new job I needed something that would stand up to humidity, heat and long shifts where I have no time for touch-ups. I always was afraid to try it because some said it's too hard to remove and also because some say it looks mask-like. I bought it at Walgreen's because I knew then I could take it back if I hated it. I bought the normal/dry formula. In the summer I probably will try the oily/combination one, as my skin is much oilier in the summer. I love the coverage. It looks very natural on me. It blends very well. And my makeup looks the same many hours later as it did when I applied. I am using the same cleansers I used for any other foundation, and have no trouble with removal. I wish I had tried this years ago and saved myself a lot of money that I have wasted on foundations.
It's just ok. Not great, not bad, just average. It did last a long time, but I have never felt the urge to repurchase it, and I never will.
I had high hopes for this mascara, and I was very disappointed. I put it on this morning for the very first time. I looked in the mirror and was so embarrassed to see that I looked like a freakin' raccoon. Big time. It smudged so badly on me. I looked like I had two black eyes. I am just so glad that I didn't wear it to work. It applies ok. It made my lashes look pretty nice, more of a natural look, not as dramatic as I would prefer, but that would have been ok if it had worked out. Straight to the trash can it goes.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lipstick in Rosy Nude

My first purchase of Revlon Colorburst lipsticks, and what a great color to start with. It's a beautiful pinky-nude color. It is a soft, pretty color, easy to wear. It stays on amazingly well and is very moisturizing. I plan on picking up another one for a backup. Love!
I have been using these for years now. It's all I use. I tried a few times to go back to a regular razor and just couldn't stand it. These just are so darn simple--no cream or gel, just swipe the razor over your skin, and you are done. I never get nicks or cuts with it. I know I use them far longer than I should, because I'm kind of a cheapskate when it comes to things like this. But they work for a long time. The shaving cream bar, or whatever you want to call it, wears down gradually, but not fast at all. I have used quite a few different types of refills, i.e. cucumber, raspberry, dry skin, etc., and I really haven't noticed a difference, they all work great. I will use them until the day comes that they don't make them anymore, and then I will be sad.
I have bought 5 of these so far. I like them pretty well. They apply well and stay on for a long time. They don't cake up or wear off unevenly. Three of the shades I tried ( Endless Watermelon, Eternal Rose, and Perpetual Pink) weren't very pigmented. Then I tried Infinite Berry and Always Apple, which are VERY pigmented, almost more than what I want in a gloss. Anyhow, good staying power. And they do not dry my lips out. I notice a scent while applying, but once they are on my lips I don't notice it any more.
A beautiful, easily wearable color. But it wears off so quickly. I have received it a few times over the years in a Bonus, but would not pay to purchase it separately, just because of the lack of staying power. But it is pretty.
Styling Products -Suave - Suave Professionals Volumizing Mousse

I have this in the new packaging, silver can with purple cap. Not sure if the formula changed, too? Anyhow, I don't care for it. It really just didn't do much of anything for my hair. The scent is fine, it doesn't make your hair crunchy, but it didn't add volume or much control. Makes your hair extremely soft, which isn't necessarily a good thing when you are trying to add volume. Cheap enough, that's for sure, but I won't buy it again.
Cleansers -Boots - Botanics Sensitive Skin Soothing Cleansing Lotion

I'm loving this! My skin gets very dry and flaky in the winter and then gets all sensitive on me. I have to use a cream cleanser then. I have been using the Jergen's All Purpose cream the last two winters. I wanted to give this a try. I have used it two ways, first by applying it with cotton as it recommends on the label, and also by applying it with my fingers and then wiping it off with cotton. Either way works fine. I do give my face a few splashes with warm water when done. It really cleans my face well. I recently started to use Revlon Colorstay, and it is removing that just fine. It is very gentle and is not drying my skin out at all. I see that some mentioned a pump; it no longer has a pump, which is fine with me. A pump would be nice, but I'm ok without it. I do get a bit of stinging around my nose, however for some reason I find that to be a common problem for me, and it's not too bad. It's also very inexpensive (regular $4.49 at Target, and it was even cheaper on sale when I bought it.) Will repurchase for sure.
I bought this in Cherry Me. I bought it primarily for it's qualities of a tinted lip balm. I was hoping to find something that added a bit of color while moisturizing my lips. It's so-so on both counts. The cherry tint it added was pretty enough, no complaints there. But it has to be reapplied very often, at least once each hour. It wears off quickly, so if you are using it as a lip color, it just doesn't hold up very long for that purpose. It feels decent enough while on. I don't really think it's doing a whole lot for moisturizing my lips, however. I was not bothered by any scent or taste. It has a bit of both, but I didn't find it to be very strong. I know many find the packaging cute. I think it is cute for younger people, or those who are really into "cute" at any age. I'm a little embarrassed to use it in all honesty. I feel too old to be using it, so I try to apply it on the sly. I will not repurchase, but will move on to another tinted lip balm in hopes of finding one I really like that is decently priced. (I thought the $3 I paid for this was very reasonable for a tinted lip balm. If only I liked it.)
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in #1 NUDE

This immediately became my everyday lipstick for work. I can't touch up my lips at work, often work 5-7 hours before I get a break. I am talking the whole time at my job. I really needed to find something long wearing that didn't wear off unevenly and leave me with the horrible look where you have color around the edges of your mouth and nothing in the middle. I tried a few other products then decided to give this one a try. Oh, do I love it! It really stays on and it looks great when I finally get a chance to look at it. It sets pretty quickly, but it does give you enough time to apply it. If you make a mistake, wipe it off quickly. It does feel a bit dry on my lips after it dries, but it does not seem to dry my lips out at all, which surprises me. Other long wearing lip products that I have tried were very drying. This is the perfect natural looking color that gives me enough color to look good, but is not at all obvious. I have to wear red and black at work, and this is neutral enough to work.
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting

I had to laugh when I saw others mention "Elmer's Glue" in their reviews, because that is exactly the product I thought of as I squeezed this out of the tube and spread it on my face. Anyhow, I am not a fan of this primer. I got it in the Box of Potions set. I didn't find it did anything really positive for my makeup. I felt my foundation looked much better without this under it. My foundation also oxidized when I used this, and both foundations I tried it with don't normally oxidize for me. This is the least favorite of any primer I have tried.
Cleansers -Ponds - Chamomile & White Tea Cleansing Cloths

I absolutely hate the smell of these. I don't find the smell pretty or refreshing or anything good, just nauseating. They remove makeup pretty well, but they make the skin on my eyelids burn terribly. Would not ever repurchase.
Well, I see I am definitely in the minority on this, but I like this conditioner. I bought it to have a conditioner that left my hair fuller and not weighed down, and this works well for those things. I love the smell. My hair does have a different feel to it as it is being dried and styled. Maybe that is because of the ingredients this conditioner leaved out, such as silicone. But my hair feels very full and clean when I am done. I would not use this every day, as I think it is not as heavy in the conditioning department. But I like to alternate it with another conditioner. As I have suggested before with other hair products, maybe this works differently depending on your water; hard vs. soft. Will repurchase.
I have been trying out several long wearing lip products since taking a job in which I work long shifts and cannot reapply my lipstick most days. This one is not one of the better ones I have tried. I bought Timeless Taupe. It was very peachy on me, not at all what I was going for.It was a bit frosty, too, and I thought it looked like there was not going to be any shimmer when I saw it in the package. It accentuated the lines on my lips in a way I haven't seen much with other products. But the worst part was that when I finally could check it out in the mirror, it had left a icky looking cakey line where my lips meet. I was very embarrassed. I talk to people face to face all day, and I was embarrassed that they saw that when I talked to them. I wish I had bought it at Ulta or Walgreens so I could take it back. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with it. There's $8 in the trash. Won't repurchase. Edited 12/1/11: I sent an email to Maybelline, and they were nice enough to send me a coupon good for $8 on any Maybelline product.
