Ok Ladies this is being phased out so if you dont have it at your local counter anymore, that's it. BUT there is a new foundation that will be taking it's place coming in March '05! I just really hope it is the same stuff as I LOVE this! Whenever I use sunscreen my skin gets so darn oily no matter what I use and this has never let the oil shine through...or my pores! I love this! On my way to the mall tonight to buy the last 3 bottles in stock!
Can you say EWWW? Oh this stuff is just awful. This is the most slippery oily foundation I have EVER used and I have used some pretty awful ones. I am a BIG fan of Lancome and was totally blindsided by this. The only thing I like is the bottle and the fragrance. I have tried to apply this with a sponge, fingers and broke down and bought a foundation brush...and I think the brush was the worst! Not for me...I dont even see how dry skin could like this with all the silicone in it as it just sits on your skin while the color slips off. NOT worth the money! My beloved MaquiControle is being d/c'd but in March there is a new one to replace it so maybe I can go back to loving Lancome MU again.
Eh...not all that impressed. Bought this from recs on MUA since I was looking for a liner for a look to line inner rims and needed one that would stay put and not melt off into the lower lashline. This too melted off the rim as I was doing the other eye! Maybe this works for some but it is just an average drugstore liner. Wont buy again
Well sad but true, this is being d/c'd in March and will be replaced by a new line for oily skin...however it doesnt break my heart too much as this made my skin oilier (I am guessing since it was overdrying and making my skin produce more oil to make up for it) had way too much alcohol (my skin does not need to be drunk..I can handle that on my own! lol) And it had no SPF. I have switched to Imanance tinted creme spf 15 and it has done wonders for me.
Let me rewrite this review. I did have a positive review on here ALTHOUGH...this stuff backfired as I had been warned about...It cleared up the horrible breakout I had from the Bare Essentuals foundation BUT then later my face broke out worse than it was! I had nice little white bumps that didnt go away and my skin got so oily! Ugh! I stopped uing this and it cleared up right away. WILL NOT ever use this again! The only reason this has a one lippie rating is b/c you cant give it a zero or even negative!
I have normal/combo acne prone skin prone to T zone oilies. This stuff is exactly what I was looking for! I have the color bisque which matches my NC 20ish skin tone very well! It is a tinted moisturizer but has more tint than a reg TM...kinda like a foundation/moisturizer. IT leaves a dewy finish without being greasy...although I do have to retouch my nose throughout the day but that isnt unusual for me with anything so I dont mind that. I wish it contained ZO instead of Octinoxate with the Titanium Dioxide but for this product I can live with that. This product is labled for all skin types and for once I really think the lable is right! It would be a nice hydrating lotion/cream for dryer skin w/o being heavy yet it doesnt make oily skin any more greasy. Wonderful! *crosses fingers they dont d/c this one*

This will be a fairly short review. If you like messy packaging, itchy skin, cystolic acne, hard to match colors, pore clogging hell, want something that makes your pores look bigger than the grand canyon and want to spend $25 for it here ya go!
Scrubs -Neutrogena - Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Scrub

Wow! Cant believe I am the first to write a review on this! This stuff is a great scrub for a drug store brand. I am a skincare snob and bought this in a pinch/wanted an all in one kinda deal. So I bought this for an exfoliating cleanser basically. I didnt have high expectations of this but to my suprise it has outdone my Lancome Clarte Exfoliance and Estee Lauder Micro D scrub hands down! It removes ALL makeup, doesnt dry out skin, leaves it smoother iwth less blackheads, AND the price cant be beat! Hope this doesnt become d/c'd!
Moisturizers -Estee Lauder - Clear Difference Oil-Control Hydrator

I have used this on and off for about 6 years now. They reformulated it sometime between now and then and either my skin has been less oily or this stuff controls oil better since it can be too drying! I liked the other version better BUT with this new stuff it controls oil, sinks right into your skin, leaves skin matte and fresh feeling. I probably wouldnt still be using it as I said it is drying BUT I have yet to find another moisturizer that doesnt sit on top of my skin like everything else I have tried. It is quite pricey but I have made my 1.7 oz bottle last me about 5 months
Eh. It looks nice in the bottle that's about it. I can not believe I spent almost $20 bucks on this stuff. It's really tacky feeling and sticky! THe color is a pretty peachy gold pink but it is way more sheer than I expected so all it does is put sheen on your lips. Not my fav. Wont buy this again and may put it up for swap!
Powder -Estee Lauder - So Ingenious Powder Foundation

NASTY! I should have listened to the posters below! I do not have oily skin but my nose can get a tad shiney on hot days. This stuff gets soggy and turns orange and dark after about 5 minutes on me...even where my skin isnt oily at all! This is just gross! I did an experiment and used this one my right side and Double Matte on the other side and guess which side of my face didnt look like a fruit? Nuff said!
I love the Powder to this but was disappointed in this foundation. It has great ingredients and stable spf 15 but the color selection is a little hard to match (pinky) although I have vanilla beige so it is a darker yellow ivory. It says it's full coverage but it is way sheer and slippery so it doesnt stay put at all. The bottle is nice with it's pump and posh bottle with gold wrapping (?) but for $30 I should have stuck with my LM or Px virtual matte.

I guess I am in the minority here but I LOVE this! This is what I have been looking for forever! It takes off eye MU well, cleans ALL the gunk off my face doesnt have mineral oil in it (like most other MU removing porducts) and I actually love the smell! i have not had any problems with the pump sticking like other posters have so maybe i got a good bottle! My only complaint is that the only place I can find it is at one Walgreens location in town. Other than that This is HG for me!
Well this works for me. i have this is tinted which I wish now I would have gotten the regular since the color is dark for me but I can live with it till it's gone. This has gotten rid of zits although not in 3 days...more like a week. It is very drying so be sure to use moisturizer with it or it's not pretty (trust me) Now that the zits are gone, I use a THIN layer of this at night to keep them from comming back. So far so good! This also has glycolic acid in it which has helped to smooth out my skin tone and keep the flakies off. Kinda expensive for a clearasil product but since I use a teeeeny bit only at night it lasts me about 2 months. If I can find a similar product with the same ingredients then i will switch since $10 is too much IMO for zit cream.
Well I really wnted to like this but it didnt work for me as a facial moisturizer as it gave me lovely cystolic zits on my cheeks and clogged my nose up. It does however work great as an eye cream so that is what it is now. In fact as an eye cream it has made the skin softer and the fine lines less noticable so I have a 3.3 oz tube that will last forever! Cetaphil products also do not have an exp. date since they are shelf stable (except for the spf lotion) so I can use this prolly for over a year just on my eyes!
