Cleansers -Yves Saint Laurent - Instant Pur Self-Foaming Cleanser

Foams as you dispense. Convenient pump bottle. Soft texture. Meant to exfoliate gently with enzymes.Quick to use and easily rinsed. Less drying then most foam cleansers but still a little bit drying.I also found that if I used toner afterwards there was still quite a lot of makeup on my skin. Pretty pointless.

Well I've reached the bottom of the bottle after using this daily and I can't say I notice any difference to my skin. Meant to contain all kinds of extraordinary ingredients and produce 'plumped' and 'radiant' skin. I saw independent tests on YSL skin care years ago and the results were incredibly positive. Better than many other brands. So I go back occasionally despite what I experience. Also their creams usually have fantastic textures but this I found a bit sticky and thick.
Lipstick -Shiseido - Sheer Gloss Lipstick Clear Orange S2

Really more of a pink marmalade colour. Suits me very well (light/med warm).Smooth and glossy. Blots down for a pretty long-lasting stain which is more pink than orange.
Fantastic mascara.Best I've found in years. For me this beats all of Lancome,Chanel, Helena Rubinstein, Bliss etc etc.Very very pretty effect. Update: uh oh. the very first application of this mascara was fantastic. After that quite usual.Have to buy a new one for each day. (lol).
Conditioner -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - glisten conditioner

Pretty ordinary conditioner.Harder to get through my highlighted hair than most. Leaves my hair feeling a bit dry and rough. Surprised that it's made for chemically damaged hair.
Shampoo -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - glisten shampoo

I much prefer their Lemongrass shampoo to this. This is meant for chemically damaged hair but I found it more drying. Quite ordinary this. Leaves my hair dry and puffy. Familiar orange soda scent.
A fairly warm pink that almost looks peach in dim lighting. Outdoors its much more pink and the almost fuschia metallic particles become visible. I've been wearing it for a week and although I don't love it I do think it is a pretty good pink for warm skins.
I used to love this. Luminous airy delicate. Shining white clouds in an impossibly blue sky and maybe a little Italian marble. Now all I see is a wet dog in a tin tub.Decidedly wet dog. Three lipsticks for old time's sake. Two off for the dog.
Lip Treatments -Bliss Labs - Lip Conditioner - Pink Coat

Love the texture and flip top jar but this did not help my chapped lips in the slightest. Pale pink colour which is okay but it definitely highlights any chapping. I'm trying very hard to give up buying more balms when I've found one that really does work incredibly well--Caudalie's.
A surprisingly good mascara. Thickens and lengthens lasts and clump free. Nice finish. But it has a very odd brush. The top third is a usual spiral and the rest is flat bristles. Not entirely sure how to use it properly. A bit fiddly. I found after the first four or five uses the curl stops dropping.
Lip Treatments -Clarins - Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm

I wish I'd been able to get a sample of this first. Its just completely useless on my dry chapped lips.If you have problem lips consider Caudlie's stick balm or Sally Hansen's Advanced repair stick. Infinitely better.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm

Much stiffer and less effective than the rose version.
Lipstick -Sue Devitt - Balanced Sheer Lipstick Cote D'azur

Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Vibration #9 Rose Givré

Not one for rose pinks generally on myself or anyone. I would dearly love to tweak this colour. However it can be applied sheerly leaving a less rose more pink shimmer. I also think its best to apply this in a thin layer because although this feels very silky and light it does have a rather thick looking texture that also highlights lip lines. It looks much paler on the lips then in the tube or on the back of the hand.
Hair -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - Lemongrass Shampoo

I grabbed this in a rush without reading the label. I wouldn't have bought it if I had. It reads "helps fatten up skinny hair, cause fat is where it's at" Well my hair is plenty fat. Fine but very abundant. And I find 'fattening' shampoos generally leave a coating on the hair that adds a kind of unmanageable sticky volume and also weight. This does neither. It left my hair very clean and soft with a lot of movement. My hair is also highlighted and I don't find this even slightly drying. This is not as good as my favourite Kerastase Bain Satin but certainly much better than most salon shampoos. And Oh have I tried them all. Pleasant lemon herbal scent.
