Update: ok, im buying another one of these because compared to UD and Mac, THIS one is the only one that doesn't give me "smear eyes" down below. i have really oily lids!!! still havent tried tarina line because sephora doesnt carry them anymore and i dont want to pay for shipping just yet... -------------------------------------- love the color (brown eyes), its a navy blue with golden shimmer. glides on fine with little to no tugging but i have to give it a couple of passes to get a darker look. it comes with a built in sharpener on the bottom of the stick but its pretty useless. i tried to sharpen but nothing was happening. the product is soft so i didn't want to press too hard for fear of it breaking off. i have very oily lids and it really is waterproof-hasnt migrated to my lids or below my eyes or lower waterline. thats pretty awesome! im usually wiping below my eyes all day long. i only use eyeliners for my upper waterline to deepen my mascara look. great eyeliner but expensive. i will try tarina tarantinos liners next!
wow-just picked it up last night and wore it today. loves. gorgeous taupe shadow with hints of purple. was a bit powdery when applying but i just tapped the excess off. for the price? amazing! will purchase again.great quality and pigmentation! NC42 and wearing it with nars rose birman lip gloss. great fall makeup look ;)
wow-where have you been all my life crazy shine? i was at the mall and the guy at the kiosk buffed out my nails for me and it was so shiny. the price? $100.00 for the kit! WTH? so i went on MUA to seek an alternative and found this gem! totally works, my nails are shinyyyy. it comes in different prints and is shaped like a big tear drop. i love this buffer!
rose birman is a deep berry plum-great muted punch of color for day (with a light hand) or night (very build able). non sticky formula and doesn't accentuate any dryness. fantastic on my NC42 pigmented lips. great for darkening a lippie also but fantastic on its own.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Sweet as Candy

UPDATE: wore the brown all over the lid and the pink in the crease, SO much better when reversed! didnt bother with the highlighter because its just too white/bright for daytime. i just used my pinky and dabbed the inner corners of my eyes with if for brightness. the brown is the keeper of the trio, the pink is just too...frosty for daytime IMO. i wont repurchase the trio ,but i would get the brown. its a beautiful brown. ---------------------------------------------------------- more like a 2.5 i bought this trio for the pink color. i was trying to look for a knock off of bobbi browns pink eyeshadows. the pigments are rich and buttery but there is so much fall out. also, i am not a big fan of frost and the pink can look frosty. i tried to wear it with the pink on the lid, brown on the crease, but it just looked like a hot mess, you couldnt even see the pink anymore. then i tried the pink alone and it wasnt showing up very well on my NC42 eyelids. i am going to try it with the brown on the lid and the pink on the crease tonight & see what happens. it was very cheap so i am not taking it back but hopefully i can get it to work on me. i definitely wont be using the highlighter because its just too white, i need a more yellow toned (like cream colored) highlighter for my skin tone. good stuff from WNW though, havent used their products since highschool!
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Forever Frappe #814 (Infallible Lipstick)
ltgee 10/24/2012 5:29:00 PM
i like this lippie but im not in love with it. if it had just a BIT more pink-i would be in love (my fave is still revlons mauve it over, has more pink)! it looks like a pinky brown in the tube but on my pigmented lips, its more brown tinge of gray. i add pink to it by topping it with bobbi browns uber pink-which then makes it the perfect pinky brown. keeping it, as its a very smooth formula and not drying at all. great to use as a base to cancel out pigmented lips.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Balm in Nourishing Nude 818 w/t SPF 15
ltgee 10/15/2012 1:03:00 PM
was looking for a MLBB color and this came close. i love the sheer formula but it was just too brown on my pigmented lips. very moisturizing and easy to wear. if they come out with more colors i would definitely check them out. i have the caring coral one and i love it. returned this shade.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Balm 418 Caring Coral
ltgee 10/15/2012 1:01:00 PM
i kept this one, the color was a very sheer peachy pink on my pigmented lips. perfect for summer. its very hydrating and i love that i can just put this on and not worry about it looking too harsh. i just tried another color, nourishing nude, and i almost kept that one too but it was just a bit too brown for my tastes. cute case, love the formula and if they came out with more shades i would check them out.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Rose Taffeta #174
ltgee 10/12/2012 1:29:00 PM
rose taffeta on my NC42 pigmented lips comes out to a lilac pink. its not the best pink for me, but its wearable & brightens up my face. the formula is sooo smooth and its very opaque. good color payoff. theres another shade thats more brown/nude looking, i think i will buy that one next. i had a $3.00 coupon off at CVS so i paid $8.00 for this. packaging is very cute. very light scent, you'd have to stick your nose up to it to smell it.
i was looking for a muted natural blush to wear for work/daytime & with brighter lippies, most of my blushes consist of very bright peaches. i tried to go with the bobbi brown illuminating blush in maui but it pulled so much red on me that i looked like i had rosacea cheeks. i stopped by mac when i was returning the bb and i would have never in a million years picked this color! it looked like a boring brown peach in the pan and i totally expected it to look muddy on me. its PERFECT-exactly what i was looking for. its a muted, matte peachy brown, very natural. i still get color but its not competing with my lippie. i am NC42, golden warm, asian skin for reference. i will buy this again!
Blush -L'Oreal - Project Runway Limited Edition-The Muse's Blush #326
ltgee 10/11/2012 6:23:00 PM
this looks like a dark peach in the pan but on my NC42, warm skin is was sooooo chalky. i had to wipe it off with a tissue. returned. about $11.00 at CVS. won't show up on tanned girls with one swipe, i put on about 3 swipes and then, when it did show, it was very chalky, orange creamsicle like. looks like a lot of product for the price though.
i was hoping this shade would be a pinky brown nude for me but it was very gray on my pigmented lips. returned. for ref: NC42, asian, warm. 1 lippie for going on smoothly.
shy girl was so sheer on my pigmented lips and had too much shimmer. it looked like i had on white shimmer lipstick. returned. for ref: NC42, asian, warm. 1 lippie for going on smoothly.
Bronzers -Bobbi Brown - Illuminating Bronzing Powder in MAUI
ltgee 10/9/2012 4:38:00 PM
i am on the fence about this product. i dont absolutely NOT like it but i am not sure it would be a great addition. online it looks more like a dusty mauve mac blushbaby type of shade but in real life, its really bright pink/coral! its definitely a much better version of orgasm. i cannot wear orgasm, its just all kinds of glitter craziness and the color didnt flatter my NC42 skin. this is really pretty on but i find that its just a tad bit too RED. it almost can look like i have rosacea on my cheeks! i use this as a blush, i cant imagine sweeping this all over my face. it was very dusty on first application but thats ok, i just blew it away. theres a ton of product for the price so that was a plus. the compact is absolutely beautiful classic bobbi brown. i usually lean more towards peachy colors, like nars gina, illamasqua lover, etc. this is the pinkest blush i own by far. i will try to make it work but using it as less of a blush and more like a highlight and with a lighter hand. it has a nice golden sheen, no obvious glitter. we shall see :)
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Generic Benzoyl Peroxide 5%

my mom picks up tubes of this generic brand from kaiser hospital for me and my brothers. i love this stuff, it really works to dry out any whiteheads overnight. usually takes about 2 days for it to be practically gone. won't live without it. comes in a tube form at kaiser. i think she pays $5.00.
