Shampoo -Redken - Blonde Glam Shampoo

I wasn't that impressed w/ this shampoo or the matching conditioner. It works just fine to cleanse w/o being too drying, but i'm not convinced it did anything for me as a blonde. But I'm a natural blonde and I don't have trouble w/ brassiness unless I'm using water that has a great deal of minerals in it.

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Dry Skin Therapy Calming Creme

This lotion does the job of "calming" mildly irritated skin, like dry and itchy patches. But I couldn't get past the smell of it. I know it's unscented, but there is a smell to it that grosses me out. It doesn't linger on the skin after it dries, but it bothers me enough to not buy it again. Too bad for me--I'll just buy the pricier Aveeno.

Skincare - Body -Dove - Invisible Solid Anti-Perspirant

This is perfect! Don't bother with the "ultimate clear" version--this works just as well and you'd wind up w/ the white marks with either kind if you're not careful wihen you put on dark clothing!!!

This works just fine, but doesn't appear to be any more clear than the version labeled "invisible", which where i shop, costs less. So save your money and be careful when you wear black!

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - morning glow spf 15

This is a fun and functional moisturizer--nothing luxury about it, but I wasn't expecting that, so it did a fine job of being a drugstore product! I picked it up to take to our lake cottage, since it had SPF and was a big enough container so I could leave it there all summer. It smells fresh and I like that it has little sparkles in it--sort of fun for summer and when you're not wearing makeup. It could be a little smoother--it feels a little grainy or something. But it protects me from the sun and it's a cheap spare!

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Sensual Amber Body Splash

I didin't like this scent at first, probably because it's so different from all the floral scents I've enjoyed at BBW before. But the more I tried it, the better I like it--it just grew on me. The only thing I'd say is a downside is that it gets wayyyyy too heavy when it's humid out, so I had to put it away for now. Hopefully it will keep alright until it cools off outside!

This lotion smells great in the bottle--just summery and yummy! But on me, sadly, it turned into a very fake vanilla-y scent after a while. Maybe not a problem for vanilla lovers, but I had to take a shower At least it was cheap!

I really enjoy this product for my legs--it's a greasy lotion and it doesn't bother me if my legs still have a bit of an oily feel after a while. I also used it on my belly when I was pregnant--it helped ease the itchiness when my skin was pulled so tight!! The salesgirl actually recommended a different product, one of the spa products w/ a lot more shea butter, but you could barely spread it on, it was so thick! This butter went on nicely and has a good blend of oils in it. I've used several different scents, but it didn't really seem to have a lot of strength to the fragrance, so you could use it w/ a different body splash or perfume and be just fine.

I love this! It's such a pleasure to wear a floral-type scent without feeling suffocated! Probably just a personal thing, but I usually can't wear florals--they are just too much and I start to feel nauseated after a while. With this fragrance, that doesn't happen. And there is something about it that makes it smell like an actual flower, and not just a flowery perfume, if that makes any sense! And for a body "splash" from BBW, this one seems to have a good amount of staying power, and the scent stays fairly consistent throughout the day. Several of their other scents get too musky on me after a while--this one doesn't do that.

I love this lotion--though it seems like a very summery item, so I only pull it out in the warmer months! It soaks right in and feels great going on--I especially love to use it after I've been out in the sun. I only wish that the scent and the moisturization lasted a liiiittle bit longer. To the person that mentioned that a tube leads to wasting some of the product--here's what I do: when you get down to the last bits of lotion, I use scissors and cut the tube in half! You can dig out the rest of the lotion from each end and if there's still some left, you can slide one cut end into the other! You can't really travel anywhere with it, but works! I hope that makes sense.

i wanted to like this scent, since i really do enjoy BBW products, especially the floral versions. it smells great in the bottle and when i first put it on, but after a bit, it smells like the hairspray i used to use in middle school--clairol something or other. i don't know how to explain this--i guess it's just not the scent for me...sigh.

Candles -Yankee Candles - Fresh Mint

I LOOOOVE this candle! It smells so fresh and spring-like! I thought it might be overpowering, but it's not at all. It just smells like garden-grown mint leaves! As with any Yankee candle I've had, I get some soot build up around the top, no matter what I do, so the candle doesn't LOOK very nice, but I'm willing to put up with it.

Wonderful scent! My favorite "fall" type scent from Yankee, by far. It makes me think about picking out pumpkins and having hot apple cider--part of my favorite time of year, so I burn this all year round! The only problem I have is the SOOT that builds up! I trim the wick, keep it out of drafts, but I still get soot around the top of the jar! If Yankee switched to soy wax, I would bet that this problem would be solved!
