Found this at Dollar Tree a while ago. The slanted "sponge" applicator is easy to apply. But as for the hydrating property, I'm not convinced. It's more like a lip gloss without the stickiness.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Butterfly Flower- Lotion

Hmm....Not a big fan of this scent. Smells is strong like some sort of insect spray. But I like the buttery consistency and the silky feeling when you rub onto the skin. Fortunately it's only a dollar in a travel size bottle.
Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Anit-Bacterial Moisturizing Hand Soap
dlamsw 12/15/2009 3:14:00 AM
I just can't help walking into Bath & BW every time I passed by. I can spend a long time wondering around shop just to sniff the lovely scent of hand soap. Indeed, for a hand soap it's pricey for the size. However, the rich lather and heavenly scent feels like spa while I wash my hands. Now my hands are not as dry thanks to the moisturizing ingredients. I still have a few scents yet to try, but my favorite ones are Sweet Pea and Honeysuckle. Will definitely stock up next time when it goes on sale.
Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Eucalyptus Castille Liquid Soap
dlamsw 12/15/2009 2:04:00 AM
I use this as "clarifying" shampoo to remove build-ups. It really "deep" cleans the hair so I can only use once in a while. Dr. Bronner's soap is great for just about everything! Can't live without it.
Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Baby-Mild Unscented Liquid Soap
dlamsw 12/15/2009 2:00:00 AM
I use the baby-mild liquid soap for face wash only. It is indeed mild and won't sting my eyes as much when in contact with the soap. Does wonderful job in cleaning the face without drying it out.
Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Peppermint Castille Soap

Tingly and refreshing soap that's great for summertime. But since Tea Tree scent is my favorite, I use this for laundry and scrubbing around the house. Good cleaner without the harsh chemical.
Skincare - Face -Dr. Bronner's - Dr.Bronners Tea Tree Soap
dlamsw 12/15/2009 1:37:00 AM
I dilute this liquid soap with water and it makes a wonderful body and face wash. I find that Tea Tree lathers better than all other scent and works the best in cleansing. I buy the big bottle and it last for months, such a good bargain.
Conditioner -Dove - Sheer Moisture Leave-In Replenishing Mist

Erm......not sure if this mist really "replenish" moisture because I really don't see any difference. But I do like the clean, fresh scent.
Cleansers -Garnier - Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure Daily Exfoliating Gel Cleanser
dlamsw 12/15/2009 12:52:00 AM
One of my friend recommended this product to me because she said it was a great cleanser to get rid of pores. Without thinking, I picked one up the very next day and couldn't wait to try it out. Oh boy, the microbeads were harsh and it felt like alcohol stinging your face. The stinging sensation continued for nearly 30 minutes even after I rinse it off. Fortunately, it didn't break me out or give me a free face peel or else I would be in trouble. Never repurchase.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash mascara in brown/black
dlamsw 12/15/2009 12:38:00 AM
If you ever have one of those days that you want to do small change in your look without spending a fortune, this is a great thing to have! I have thin and short lashes that certainly don't make my eyes stand out. Since I just want to achieve the "eye popping" look, a mascara would do the trick. It does make my lashes thicker and longer. However, it does smudge a bit so gotta give it a sec to dry off. But for the price, there's not much to complain~
Loose Powders -Maybelline - Mineral Power Finishing Veil Translucent Loose Powder
dlamsw 12/15/2009 12:08:00 AM
I really like this loose powder. Works well on setting the makeup. The sheer coverage gives a natural and flawless look. Best of all, its mineral powder so it won't clog the pores.
Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Oralabs Chap Ice Cherry Lip Balm

A good alternative to Chapstick. There are many different flavors to suit your needs. And the price is right.
Pressed Powders -New York Color - Color Wheel Mosaic Powder Peach Glow
dlamsw 12/14/2009 11:14:00 PM
At first I got the Pink Cheek Glow and the color was too bright. Then I got the Peach Glow because it matched my skin tone. I swept this lightly onto my cheek to give myself a healthy glow. Also each color can use separately as eyeshadow and it works perfectly. For the price and quality of the product, it's certainly a great deal!
Styling Products -Garnier - Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray
dlamsw 12/14/2009 10:59:00 PM
Nice glossing spray with fairly strong "alcohol" scent. Gives hair a good boost of shine when you spray liberally. However, the design of spray head is quite terrible because it exerts tremendous amount of content at once, which can make the hair oily. But with some spraying distance it's not much of a problem.
