This is the best nude lipstick that I own at the current moment. I have to use a darker liner with it to keep from looking too chalky but I don't mind. I also prefer it with a gloss on top to add some shine. But once I do all three of those steps it creates the perfect nude. I'd hoped that freckletone would have done the same for me but the lustre formula does not provide the same coverage. Siss is better. I now even have a backup. I highly recommend. This will be a staple for me
I recieved this as a GWP and recently pulled it out. I love it. I was previously using The Great Lash by Maybelline and Bare Ecentuals. I forget the name but it was the one without a brush. I noticed a big difference in how long it made my lashes look. But then again I only have a few brands to compare it to so far. I am on a quest to find the "perfect" mascara for me so we'll see if my opinion changes after trying a few more different brands. Although I really like this brand I cannot call it "perfect" because if dries so fast that I cannot layer it twice like I prefer and it clumps a bit. I try to have my eyelash comb handy so that i can comb the lashes quickly and put a second coat before it dries. But it dries so fast. Maybe i might try it with the Cils Booster and see if it moisturizes more and clumps less. I really like it though. My sister mention that she could tell that I changed mascaras because my lashes looked longer. :) That did it for me. I was happy. Edit: I have used many, many different mascara since my original review and have to say this is my favorite. Sometime you don't know how good something is until you use stuff thats really bad. I still think it dries too quickly but it still gives me the best effect out of any mascara I've tried. I'm still on the search though.....just incase.
I am so over this mascara. It is ok but nothing to flip over. I have used it for ages while rotating a few others here and there. But I realize now that I've been selling myself short. I used a sample that I had of Lancome Defincils they other day and my lashes looked 100% better. I am now determined to try every mascara that I can get my hands on to see whats best. I feel like i have wasted years with just "regular" looking lashes when I could have been a diva all along. After all, I AM cocodivatime. LOL. LOL. Like I said don't get me wrong-- Its not a bad mascara. And for the price you get what you pay for. But I'd rather see a more dramatic look, even if I have to pay a little more. If you just want a regular mascara to coat your lashes black and not do much of anything else then this is for you. If you are looking for a bit more, you can pass i don't know what the big "celebrity" hype is all about.
I love this light scent. It is very soft and not overwhelming. I don't know why Philosophy does not market this scent as much as Amazing Grace or Pure Grace. I think it's certainly better than Pure Grace and about even with Amazing Grace. I am so stingy with my perfume and lotion because i don't want to run out. They don't make it in jumbo sizes like the other lines.
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross

I love this and use it everyday no matter what blush that I am wearing. I hightlight it on the top of my cheekbone and it gives the most beautiful glow. I knew that i loved it when I saw a picture that someone had taken of me. I had this natural glow that I'd never seen before. I kept staring at it and realized that it was Albatross. From then on I have never left the house without it. It makes the most beautiful subtle difference. But don't pile it on. Use lightly. Don't be afraid ladies. At first I was not sure how to use it but now I am in love. Use it on the inner corner of your eyes too!! EDIT--2 months later and I am still using this everyday. I love it. Will never go without it again. LOL
I have so many different philosophy scents and love them.....but this one was not great. The lemon scent reminds me of dishwashing liquid. Its not bad I guess. Its heavily lemon scented and i don't want to wash my body with it. Maybe my hands, but thats about it. Too lemoney.
Blush -NARS - Cream Blush in Gueule de Nuit [DISCONTINUED]

I wore this blush for the first time today and I LOVE it. It is very hard to explain the color. It looks like a warm coral with a hint of something else. I just can't put my finger on it. It looks fabulous on my caramel toned complexion. It actually gives me the look that I'd hoped for with Torrid but more warm. Torrid is similar but comes out as a brighter coral and more cool.. This is perfect. I would buy this product again and again although I can't imagine running out soon. This color does not stand out on the display but ladies try it. I love a blush that instantly brightens the face. *EDIT* I've tried this blush a few times since my original review and its ok. I am not wowed like before. Its nice don't get me wrong but not drop dead wow like i originally thought. The last time i tried it I ended up layering something over it.
I am brown skin, a MAC NC44 and a Bare Ecentuals Dark and this blush gives me the prettiest flush. I'm actually reviewing it now because I was reminded of how much I love it while I put on my makeup today. I have tons of NARS blushes even though I've only collected for a short time and this is one of my favorites. I can't speak for those lighter than me, but if you are tanned or brown skin this will definitly work. Looks like a natural glow.
