bottom line on this illuminating cream...if you stand in direct sunlight and are talking to a fellow, he will say 'you have glitter on your nose' and your girlfriend will look away. the funny thing is, the person reviewing this right below me here is the person i swapped with for this. i ignored THAT review and listened to the other ones, the one i ignored is the correct one. go figure. this does look nice on the cheek bones and undereyes and on browbone...AT NIGHT.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - green lady soap celebration cake

there is a difference in a cake and a celebration cake. this scent actually picks up on that. celebration cakes, such as wedding cakes, have a more tart meringue quality to their aroma. this is perfect. i love this fragrance. i will layer this with a floral on my honeymoon.

when i grow up and throw away all my pink sugar candy vanilla peach tropical fragrances, i will wear this. it is a grown up version of all of those rolled into one very wearable fragrance. (that doesn't make me sneeze) this would be great for job interviews, meeting the parents, casual romantic dates, out with girlfriends shopping. i have a sample and will ask for this as a present when i run out.

i bought this at the drugstore, in a hurry hunting for a body spray to put on after a shower before going in to work in a kitchen all day. something that might last and not overpower my sense of smell in the kitchen, but still make me feel fresh and pretty and sparkly while wearing chef whites covered various foods. this is it. i love it. it has vanilla candy everything at once fragrance that you might find stepping into a candy store. it is horribly alcohol-y at first, but that quickly goes away (i find that with stila fragrance too) to dry down to just girly freshness. it is, of course, a very young scent, but it makes you feel young and girly so i don't really care. it is so inexpensive i don't mind wearing it to work, since when i wear anything more expensive to work i feel like i'm wasting it. i absolutely hate how greasy and grungy and overpowered with savory food smells i become while at work, and these keeps me in a more uplifted state of mind. i'm not kidding on this one. this is one of my all time favorite body sprays. it is pink and actually has barbie on the label. i think i paid 3.99 for it.

i have to admit, i have no idea what this really smells like. i get kinda a tropical alcoholic coconut concoction when i smell it, but trying to put my finger on what it exactly smells like is impossible. i don't hate it, but i don't get the vanilla everyone else gets, but i do get the plastic drydown. if this were a mixed drink, i would order it time and time again, but i don't know if i want to smell like a drink in a plastic cup. there is something underlying in this that is really unpleasant and makes me sneeze. i love the packaging, i want to love this fragrance, but i don't. UPDATE: i figured it out. it isn't the smell of vanilla...it is the smell of vanilla extract, which is VERY alcohol-y and too strong. smells like pink vanilla extract. AND PLASTIC.

i think it would be hard to not like this fragrance. it's subtle, girly, magnificently sweet with out being overbearing. i have worked as a pastry chef, and this is the exact scent you get when preparing pulled sugar strings. while moving the melted sugar through the air, this is the scent. the drydown is exactly that. and i have never been in a kitchen pulling sugar when someone didn't seek out the scent and say how good it smells. comforting and warm. doesn't seemto last very long, though.

first off, how cute is the packaging? love love love this fragrance. everything about it. this is the perfect sweet hard to place flower girly fragrance. whenever i am standing in front of my bathroom cabinet wondering which fragrance to wear, this one always wins because it is perfect for everything. i've found layering it over stonger perfumes and oils mellows them out. i just love this. this is the hint of flowers in the wind you get when you are walking down the sidewalk on a hot day, and the breeze picks up flowers from someone porch. it's lovely and subtle and feminine.

i received this in a swap along with pink manhattan. i've been on a gardenia and rose kick lately, so of course i had to have this one. i find this oil SO STRONG. the first time i wore it i was so excited about it i applied too much and i literally was choking on it all day. i got really paranoid that i was that girl on the bus choking every else with her perfume. i learned my lesson. use this very sparingly, because if you don't this stuff never seems to calm down. you will be overwhelmed all day. (but just a note on that...i get really sneezy or headache-y from alot of scents, and even though this is incredibly strong, no sneezing, no headache) aside from that, it's delicious. lovely tropical gardenia, incense warm aroma. it's wonderful. sometimes i layer it with a touch of vanilla and can't stop smelling my wrists the whole day. tiny little roller ball container that may last you the rest of your life. the tube it comes in is cute, too.

Blush -Stila - Gladiola Convertible Color

i wanted to love gladiola and i swapped for it after reading all the reviews here. even at the stila counter they tried to convince me that i could wear this. i can't. this is not good for ppp or fff. it just isn't. i'm good with blush, i never leave the house without it. i can make almost anything work. i have super cool coloring and freckles, and all day that i wore this i felt like i had dirt on my face. it did not make me have a natural glow. i would stear clear of this if you have very cool coloring. i'm swapping it out for petunia.

Conditioner -Pantene - red expressions radiant repair moisture rich treatment

nothing special at all about this conditioner. this is supposed to be a conditioner to get your hair back in shape after coloring and help extend the life of your color. the directions are to use it everytime you shampoo your hair, after coloring, for two weeks, then once a week after that. i only wash my hair twice a week anyway. i don't think this is strong enough to be a repair type conditioner, but it works nicely as an everyday conditioner, but it almost feels light enough to be a cream rinse. it really hasn't helped my hair not fade, though. i'm going back to the neutrogena triple line.

i bought this thinking, it's dark pink, it will help my color last. it doesn't. and it really doesn't condition so well either. if i didn't know better, i would think this is drying out my hair and making the color fade. if you dye your hair, this just isn't going to help it at all. i gave it a two because i like how it looks and the squeezy tube. i would not repurchase this.*update*i am actually throwing this away...my hair feels coarse and unless i use some other product, i can't even comb my hair wet. this sucks real bad, i took away my good packaging lippy because i hate this stuff. (and i am thrifty, so if i am throwing it away, it has to be really bad.)

i have this in the cherry color and the plum color. neither one is exactly right, so i mix them on my head. the first thing i want to say about this product, because this is why i keep buying it, is after you use it, your hair is amazingly soft and conditioned feeling. it isn't really conditioned, but coated. the blowout you get after using this is just pure silk! these last for about a week and a half. sure, your hair is still tinted a bit but the real brightness fades really fast. primarily i use these in between actually coloring my hair to help the tone. i bleach my hair and usually dye it some sort of pink color, which of course fades to auburn. every so often i use one of these to tone down the warmness of my hair. works like a charm. it's a cute product, easy to use, doesn't stain skin. would be great for teens and tweens to express themselves without actually dyeing their hair. smells good, too.

i have this in light, which my undereye circles are not. at first when i got this, i thought, this is a bit like greasepaint for stage. turns out i was using it wrong. i had been smearing my finger over the surface, and then dabbing this on my face. ladies, if you try it that way you will hate it. but then i started using one of my tiny little makeup brushes to apply it to the areas i really needed it, then dabbing it to blend it in, and i actually like it quite alot. it blends so nicely with my skin tone, you really can't see it at all. i've been struggling to find a concealer that didn't look like a concealer, but can still cover enough of my undereye circles to not make me look tired. this does a pretty good job. mostly i am so impressed how it looks like i am not wearing a heavy concealer when i am. not the stuff made of miracles, but real real close. i have pale pink skin and this yellow toned concealer is great.
*update* this looks like crap in office lighting. just horrible and dry and noticeable.

i recieved a sample of this in a swap. i haven't actually worn this yet, so i cannot comment on the wearability of it (i will later), but you know how marylin monroe wore chanel n.5? in real life i imagine this is what she really smelled like. like full sexy red roses. i know most people don't think of rose scents as sexy, but this is something i might put on with a very grown up sexy negligee and light some candles and see what happens.

i recieved this in a swap, and i cannot believe how lucky i got with this scent! i just love it. i have nothing to add about how it smells...it does smell just like the freshest sweetest bursting peaches (and vanilla and pink hibiscus and gardenia). but i will add this...it smells good in the morning, too. i wore this all day long yesterday, went out in the afternoon to sit in a patio garden, and i can still smell it on my wrists this morning. the peach is kinda long gone, but there is still a vanilla creamy sweetness lingering on me. another note, someone asked me what i was wearing. i let them smell my wrist, then the fellows beside us being flirty wanted to smell it, but they both looked really surprised when they did, and commented...you know...that actually does smell REALLY good! i love it. just beautiful and fresh and creamy and no sneezing.
