Angel is my favorite pink lipstick, the color is a gorgeous baby pink, and even though it is a frost, it isn't frosty at all. There is a nice sheen to Angel, and i noticed it has small shimmers. This color is the perfect pink that dosn't have a lot of cool undertones so warm toned girls can wear this :)
I got this blush a few days ago and i'm loving it! This blush is very versatile and imo goes well with a lot of diffrent colors and looks. The color is a gorgeous matte bubblegum pink that looks surprisingly good on my very warm toned skin. Pink Swoon gives me a pretty pink flush, and it also gives my skin a glow even though there isn't any shimmer. LOVE!
Every time i've gone into a MAC store,or counter i've always been drawn to this shade. I finally got it a few days ago( geez what took me so long), and i really love it. The color is a black with burgundy sparkles. The color dosn't really show up very sparkly/glittery when i applied dry, but as others have mentioned when applied wet the glittery sparkles do show up. I like to use this color in the outer corners and as an eyeliner. It's very beautiful
When i first gol this eyeshadow i thought it would be similar to the Violet pigment that i have in pressed form, but when i compared them they didn't look anything a like. Parfait Amour is a violet with a lot of blue in it. It is a lot more blue than Violet pigment. I love this color! i noticed that it has a very pretty pink shimmer as well. I did notice this color is on the sheer side but that's okay it dosn't take much to build intensity imo. I love this color both on the lid and in the crease.
I got a sample of this pigment, and i'm really liking it! the color is a nice pretty lavender which looks gorgeous when worn as a wash over the lids. The color isn't harsh, just a soft lavendar glow. If MAC ever repromotes this shade i will definately buy the full size jar.
Loose Powders -MAC - Iridescent Powder - Silver Dusk
beautifulscorpio83 6/30/2009 6:56:00 PM
i got this from my sister and i love it! i already own and love the golden bronze one, and now i have both! This is a very pretty pinky/nudish/beigy color with silver sprakles/glitters. This is definatley glittery so it's best for nighttine use or used sparingly in the daytime. I'm actually wearing it today as a highlighter but i used very little on my 165 brush and then i buffed out some of the larger glitter with my 183. I'm loving this.
I got a sample of this from my sister who also pressed it for me, and i have to say WOW! this is a very pretty purple... I wear this color in my crease and it looks like an Electric purple with blue undertones on my eyes. It's just beautiful! I plan on getting the full size when i run out of the one my sister gave me.
i got this pigment from my sister who is also a member of MUA, and she didn't like it because she felt it didn't really show up on her, so she gave it to me. The cololr is a gorgeous hotp pink with blue-violet duochrome shimmer. This sooo pretty when worn all over the lid with a darker purple in the crease. I'll be honest i didn't think this shade would work, but i'm very happy that it does work for me! yay!
Like other reviewers have mentioned i wish this came with a spray top instead of the regular cap that is included. Okay this is a really good brush cleanser imo, but i only use this for spot cleansing after i'm done using my brushes. What i do is pour some brush cleanser into a little spray bottle that i have, and i spray my brushes and wipe them back and forth on a paper towel to remove the makeup. I find it works great at removing the makeup, and it's also good to clean your brushes daily for hygenic reasons too. I have acne-prone skin and i like to clean my brushes after i use them especially my face brushes. I also like to clean my brushes after each use because the next time i do my makeup i'll probably use diffrent colors and i'm a little weird because i like to use brushes that don't have any residue from the previous eyeshadow, because i feel it might taint and affect the new eyeshadow i'm applying....i don't know i'm weird, so i just like to clean them when done so that i have a fresh clean brush when i want to apply my makeup again.
I personally think this product is a must have!! there are really a lot of uses for this, and i use it in many diffrent ways. I love to use this right after i apply my Revlon colorstay foundation, and another spritz after i've finished my entire makeup. I love this stuff!! it gives a radiance without looking oily which is good because i have oily skin. I also like using this with pigments for foiling, which works beautifully. I have also used this after cleansing my face as a quick refresher. I also have to say LOVE the way it smells!! i don't know why i just do...
This is my new favorite eyeshadow!! i can't believe i had missed out on this shade for the longest time. This color is sooo gorgeous when used on the browbone with a brush like the 227, or when placed on the innercorner tearduct. This is sooo beautiful!! love love love it!!! i have been using it everyday since i got it. This color even though has pinky undertones goes well with a lot of diffrent types of colors imo. I loves it!!
I'm in love with this shadow!! i had been using Carbon with my 231 brush to line over my pencil eyeliners, and this color is just as good as Carbon imo. This color is black with blue undertones and it looks awsome as an outercorner color to do the "v" and as a liner color. I noticed that i don't get any fallout when i use it which is awesome! rave!!
I got this in a swap and i must say i really am loving the Kohl Powers!! i already have Feline which i love, and now Mystery is really impressing me too!! too bad i'm late to the party i really wish i would of snatched up all the colors when i had the chance. Anyways the color is a gorgeous blackened blue/green teal color with sparkle. This is a nice alternative to my everyday black eyeliners. I wish MAC would come out with all of them again.
Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Medium Plus
beautifulscorpio83 6/26/2009 5:59:00 PM
I'm soo happy i fianlly got this! i've been eyeing this stuff for awhile and i'm glad i finally decided to try it!. I had been using MAC studio fix powder foundation before and even though i do really like it i wanted to try liquid foundation again and i wanted to try this powder over my liquid foundation. I tried it over a sample i had got from the MAC store of studio fix fluid and i loved the results but..studio fix fluid broke me out :( i then tried this powder over Revlon colorstay founation and it looks awesome!! i just buff this powder with my 183 and use a quick spritz of fix+ and my makeup has been lasting a long time. rave from me! UPDATE: Medium Plus ended up being a bit too dark for me, and it also gave me a slight pinkish cast, that i didn't notice at first, i went back and the mua gave Medium and it looks much better. I was a little concerned because i heard that the Medium has pink undertones, but i havn't noticed any pink tones on my very yellow skin.
Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Refined [DISCONTINUED]
beautifulscorpio83 6/26/2009 5:53:00 PM
I'm in love with this!!! can you believe this is my first MSF!? i've never been really into them untill i read reviews for Refined. I lov how this color is not overtly glittery, it's just glowy and wonderful! the peachy tones complement my C3 just great! i use this with my 165 brush and it works wonderfully! i've been wearing it everyday since i got it!
