What a great Walmart find! I bought this for fun over a year ago as I wanted a cheap blue liner. I've repurchased it since and this is the most flattering shade of blue I've found. It's not too dark and has an iridescence to it that catches the light and looks beautiful. Color is a medium blue metallic with a slight green undertone. Very fresh looking and it's great for tired eyes because it perks them up. Lasts pretty well on my oily eyelids and it does not migrate to my face by the end of the day. The color fades somewhat during my 10 hour day but I combat this by putting eyeshadow on top of it- gunmetal by Urban Decay, the grey in it really compliments the liner! Highly recommend and this stuff is less than $5, an absolute steal!
I have this shade in three different palettes by UD and it's not a favorite! I wish they'd stop repeating this shade so much because it just doesn't work on my skin tone. It wears very well and has a velvet texture that is to die for but the shade is ehhhh for me. Mid-tone brown metallic with a warm undertone is how I'd describe it. As a lid color, it totally washes me out and looks harsh, but it's wearable as a crease & outer corner color. I prefer UD twice baked over this one because it's more natural looking for everyday. I sometimes mix the two together for a smokey brown eye. Would not repurchase on its own...sigh! There are much prettier browns out there that enhance my eyes & this one seems to do nothing for them but look heavy and dark.
Lipstick -Cover Girl - lip perfection Lipstick in Embrace

I'm in love with CG lip perfection lipsticks! Out of the 5 colors I own, this is my hands down favorite. It appears dark purple in the tube with a subtle blue shift but applies more of a blue-based magenta. This shade will last me forever because it doesn't take much product to get my desired effect. It looks bold and dramatic, yet it's appropriate for everyday wear. My tip is for daily use I wear this as a stain, just apply and blot lightly with a tissue, then put on some clear gloss and you're set! Definitely would repurchase and continue to try other shades in this collection. Love!
This color is sparkly and summery- warm orange with golden sparkles in it. It applies well for a sparkly polish it's not very gritty and dries fast. The wear isn't very good though, without a topcoat 3 of my nails chipped within a day, so I won't repurchase.
This is a must have neutral in my makeup bag! I purchased it almost a year ago and wasn't sure if I liked it at first, but today it's my go to because of how natural and smoky it looks. Color is a medium neutral brown with fine gold glitters that really make your eyes pop. My everyday look is UD eyeshadow in blunt on my lids and Twice Baked in crease and outer corner for added definition. It lasts a long time and I have oily eyelids that resist shadow so that says a lot! 8 hours no creasing without primer and even longer if you use UD primer with it! The fallout is very minimal and subtle, so I don't mind it one bit. I hope this color is never discontinued because its great for daily wear and makes me feel pretty. Pair this with Blunt (metallic gold champagne) and you are good to go!
I was cruising the beauty aisles of Walmart on a quest for lilac colored lipstick and this is what I found. I own a few lip perfection shades already and it is my favorite d.s lipstick formula by far. This particular shade, divine, appears opaque lilac/mauve in the tube and in reality it's more of a hot pink mauve color. It contains no shimmer and applies very smooth, with a staying time of 3-4 hours. As previous members have said, this stuff leaves a stain on your lips! I think the stain is nice and it eliminates the need to reapply often. Highly recommend this shade but it's not purple, it borders more on pink.
I'm a lip gloss lover and lean towards bright & bold shades. Coral reef caught my eye for summer and the price is right for my budget! Unfortunately, it appears bright orange against my skin, not coral/pink as many swatches and pictures I looked at suggested. The color does not work for me at all! I find that it looks better if I use a small amount and do not saturate my lips in color. The product itself is a thick, balm-like gloss with a very subtle scent that reminds me of petroleum jelly. It lasts quite a while and I will try other shades, but definitely NOT this color!
Was so stoked to try this blush because I like the Fit Me concealer and foundation so I figured this would be similar in quality. Too bad it doesn't show up on my skin at all! It applies very sheer and powdery with zero pigmentation, I'm so upset. Gave this to my sister who is just starting out with makeup and she does not notice anything wrong with it ha! This was a cheap mistake and I would not try other shades of blush in this line.
I've repurchased this liner a few times and it is best used for thicker lines. The application is sturdy and easy to apply without smudging because it is not runny. Lasts forever and it is good for beginners at liquid liner. The staying power is awesome and lasts through my 8 hour shift no problem! It dries almost instantly, which is a plus for when you are in a hurry. I would probably repurchase again but I do not consider it HG because it is tricky to line thinly with it.
Primer/ Corrector -E.L.F. - Mineral Infused Face Primer

Good product quality for $6 and it is comparable to B.E Prime Time, which is my go-to primer. The reason why I would not repurchase is that the packaging is extremely cheap and the pump broke after a week which made application very difficult:/ it is also too slow of dry time for me. The best part about E.L.F primer is that it adheres to makeup and helps it to last through an 8 hour day without fading. The silicone base might be an irritant for somebody with sensitive skin and quite oily.
There is nothing dreamy about dream matte mousse. The color selection of Maybelline is so disappointing because most of their shades have an orange undertone that is fake looking! The closest shade I found at the time was medium 1. Not sure of shade name. The formula is a thick mousse that has a dry application and is difficult to blend completely. It covers pretty well, I would say medium coverage and no need for concealer when you use it. But it feels so heavy on your face, it's excruciating! I'm not sure it's oil-free, and this was major downfall of the foundation, because it broke my skin out terribly and I found myself using more foundation each time because my skin got worse and worse. Dream matte feels like gunk on top of your skin because it's pore clogging and very heavy.
I used this stuff for about 6 months on and off and it underwhelmed me. I purchased it because I like makeup with SPF and a pump applicator. The formula is liquidy and has shimmer particles in it--so weird! I'm not a fan of luminous makeup and I would describe this as having a dewy finish. It also oxidized on top of my pores after 2 hours of wear, making it appear lighter than it actually is. The only positives about photo ready is it lasts pretty well and has SPF. Otherwise, the coverage didn't do much for me, I have acne scars and dark spots. I think this product is geared more towards mature skin because the shimmer is a bit much when you have oily skin as I do!
Liquid -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup

This product contains salicylic acid that is supposed to clear existing acne and prevent breakouts. I bought the shade neutral- a light/medium shade and was disappointed to find that it had an orange undertone, not neutral at all! I like the pump application because it's hygienic and one or two pumps will cover your face. I thought the coverage was terrible and I had a hard time blending it in completely because it dries with a powder finish. Ugh! My face looked splotchy and orange upon application and the foundation was very irritating to my sensitive, acne-prone skin. After I washed it off, my skin was peeling and very red. Sometimes, this is a side effect of salicylic acid, so I continued to use the product for about a month after that to see if side effects improved, but no luck. It also broke my skin out in tiny whiteheads after a week of use--yuck!! I can't believe I used this as long as I did because it is torture for ones skin! Poor coverage and very drying, I would avoid this at all costs.
This is a stunning, cool-toned taupe shimmer that works well as a crease color to add definition. Other reviewers claim that there is no fallout, but I beg to differ! The shimmers seem to collect underneath my eye upon applying it and they migrate to my face if I don't wipe them off with a tissue. Fallout aside, this is an amazing shade and it applies smoothly with a rich color payoff. You can expect it to last 12 hours without creasing when worn with UD primer potion, which I highly recommend! This color came with the Naked 2 palette and I'm getting close to hitting pan on it, so I plan to repurchase on its own. Great shade for blue eyes!
I used this brand for a few years on and off in the shade medium beige. Recently, bare escentuals improved its packaging so that the sifter part closes and you don't have powder leaking everywhere. I love the new packaging but the product doesn't work for me. It has light-medium coverage and applies very natural looking. It did not break me out in my experience and has ingredients in it that are supposed to be good for your skin. The downside is it highlights enlarged pores, clings to dryness, and leaves oily skin shiny after only an hour of wear. I like this stuff for when my skin is behaving and I have no breakouts, but the reality is, it rarely behaves! So I use Loreal bare naturale because it provides much better coverage for less cash. I would not buy again because there are less pricey options that provide better coverage.
