Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Angel

*PICS* I really like this lipstick. It's a very light pink without any shimmer or shine - which I like. However it's not a colour I can wear easily (but I do reach for it quite a bit when I go for a warm bronzey look as seen a bit in my review for MAC pigment in chocolate brown, I think it looks perfect when I wear it that way). Would definitely re-purchase if I ever ran out. In the pics I wore it with YSL's golden gloss #10 on top. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Eye Shadow -MAC - Chocolate Brown Pigment
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 10/28/2008 6:36:00 AM

*PICS* I think most people have described this really well before me, so I won't go into details, but I will say it really does have perfect smooth texture and the shimmer shows up gorgeously. I applied UDPP on lids and then applied the pigment with my finger on my eyelid and blended with MAC's #217 brush. I also applied under lower lash. I think next time, I would like to blend it with a dark greyish/taupe eyeshadow, I had to leave when that thought popped into my head, but for some reason I think it'll look nice so I'll try it next time :) Please also note it looks darker up close as the flash kind of washed it out. Overall, I really like this colour when I'm in the mood for subtle warm smokey eyes. *Mental note to thyself* Yes, I need a darker shade concealer eeck! Treatments -Avene - Diacneal Acne Treatment [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 10/27/2008 5:27:00 AM

Diacneal was one of the first treatments I had ever used as an anti-ageing product (as I am not break-out or acne prone) and I was happy with it, then I decided to step up and use Differin, and then Retin-A- the latter was horrible for my skin so I stuck to Differin along with Skinceuticals eye renewal gel. However, a few months ago, skin coloured little pimples started to appear around and along my jaw area as well as 1,2 big cystic pimples so naturally I was freaking out. I then thought of Diacneal and decided to try it again and I'm so glad I did, my skin cleared up after 2,3 days and looked great! I recalled how much I really like this product and so I'm sticking with it as it really gives me fantastic results overall. Love it. Retails for 12 euros here in Greece.

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pink Raspberry Pot Rouge ] [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 10/10/2008 8:52:00 AM

Wow, gorgeous. I will be adding pics soon. I wore it for the fisrt time on my lips today and gosh, what a beautiful shade! Fantastic rich pink-raspberry shade (without looking over the top) with seriously amazing pigmentation. It also gives off a fantastic smooth kissable luscious lips finish, incredible. Definitely my favourite out of the pot rouge's I have tried so far (Summer pink, powder pink, blushed rose, pink truffle). I apply on my lips with a lip brush and with MACs #187 on cheeks.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Apivita Express Deep Cleansing Face Mask with Green Clay
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 9/24/2008 2:30:00 PM

*PIC* of product and ingredients. As the Apivita Express Whitening Face Mask w/ Fruit Acids, I really love this one also for deep cleansing. Leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth and dare I say my pores smaller? Great product. Next I'll try the Express anti-oxidant one with tomatoe. It comes in two satchets and one satchet lasts two applications. Retails for 3.00 euros/4.50 US$. (Update: I tried the tomatoe one, meh, pretty crappy, it was way too emollient and could not see any difference at all.) Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Apivita Aromatherapy Face Cleansing Milk with Organic Honey and Orange Blossoms Very Dry Skin
rated 5 of 5

*PIC* of ingredients and product. So I dropped by the pharmacy on my way home from work after having put in 12 hours at the office all week to purchase some skin care pick me ups - I desperately needed them seeing flying off to a Thailand spa just wasn't gonna happen there and then so this had to do. Anyhow, a cleanser I had asked for wasn't available - and I sure wasn't leaving without one either - so I decided to give this a go. I love it! This cleanses my face really effectively, makes it feel and appear sooo smooth and does not leave any film behind that sometimes I even skip the toner. Will definitely re-purchase! It does however have an intense citrusy scent which lingers quite a bit, I personally don't mind it, but if you aren't a fan of fragranced products, then this definitely might not be for you regarding that factor. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this cleanser. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Toners -Nivea - Gentle Toner for Dry/Sensitive Skin
rated 4 of 5
TinaGreece 9/24/2008 2:03:00 PM

*PIC* of product and ingredients. I saw a thread on the skincare board about favourite toners for dry skin and I saw some members mention Nivea in the pink bottle, well whilst at the supermarket I saw Nivea pink bottle toner for dry/sensitive skin and thought I'd give it a go. However I get the feeling that the members were talking about Nivea Visage Alcohol-Free Moisturizing Toner All Skin as I don't think this particular one I bought is available in the States. Anyhow, I go through toners and milky cleansers sooo unbelievably fast (A toner/cleansing water every 10-15 days max.) therefore it's not very cost effective for me purchasing high end such products that often, so I'm always on the lookout for a cheaper alternative given that it's suitable for my skin. This is such a product and I'm very pleased with it. It feels refreshing, takes off any residue effectively, cleansers well in the mornings when my skin is rather clean anyhow and does not dry out my skin, so, I will re-purchase! Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - hydraphase UV SPF 30
rated 3 of 5
TinaGreece 9/24/2008 1:51:00 PM

As stated on product: Hydraphase UV spf30 Intense Rehydration 24 hour hydration, Sensitive Skin. Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 7% (These active ingredients for some reason seem to differ from those posted in the initial reviews for this product) *PIC* of full listing of ingredients and CIBA result ppd measure. I had quite a few generous samples of this product and I had been so curious to try it out! Well, I should have just stuck to being curious cause I was sadly disappointed, oh well. At first when I was blending this onto my skin after my daily skin care routine, I thought it was too good to be true, left absolutely no cast whatsoever, sinked in fabulously and my skin looked so matte to the point I wondered whether it might not be moisturising enough, but then as I was finishing massaging it in, yep, it turned pretty slick looking- nothing too horrendous, but not exactly my cup of tea :( Therefore, with a slick finish and a ppd of a 6.8, erm, not for me unfortunately. Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect #677 Silk Fuchsia
rated 4 of 5
TinaGreece 9/14/2008 3:08:00 PM

*PICS* I really love this shade, it's such an exquisite colour. I don't think I could wear this every day but it's a colour I wear when I'm in the mood for something rather vibrant, elegant and striking. It gives off a lovely smooth application with gorgeous pink micro shimmer particles, I just wish it was a *tiny* bit more pigmented as I have to layer it on to get a full, thick finish if I'm not wearing a similar lipstick shade underneath. I also think it looks good with the type of make-up such as Megan Fox's in the pic I enclosed, well I try to do similar colouring lol. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Blush Pink Swoon
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 9/14/2008 2:37:00 PM

*PIC* My favourite BABY PINK shade. Looks bright in the compact, but goes on so soft and quite subtle. I find I can layer this on and not look clownish at all- which is a good thing as I tend to over do it with blush! Lovely smooth matte texture also, huge thumbs up! Photobucket Photobucket

Blush -Laura Mercier - Cheek Colour in Rose Petal
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 9/13/2008 3:58:00 PM

*PIC* I've come to terms that I just don't look that great in peachy coloured blushes (Any tones of pink suit me) but sometimes I really want to wear such a shade darn it so I'm really happy I stumbled upon this colour as it is a soft peachy/apricot shade with enough hints of pink in it to suit me, yay! Before this LM blush I had tried: Nectar, but was too peach for me, Winter Bloom which was way too shimmery and bronzey and Wild Bouquet which was too bland on me, so I'm thrilled I love this one! Beautiful matte texture and pigmentation too, I also like the handy small chic compact. Photobucket Photobucket

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Clic It - Bliss
rated 5 of 5
TinaGreece 9/13/2008 2:06:00 PM

*PICS* I received this as an extra in a swap (yes, BN in package :) and actually never even gave it a second's thought, it's a warm dark tan/brownish nude colour with a matte finish, but seeing I was attending a funeral today, I thought it would be an appropriate shade. It is darker than what I usually go for, but surprisingly it really was very flattering with peachy/pink blush and neutral eye shadow colours. But what really surprised me was the texture! Oh my, amazing! This went on so dreamily, heavenly creamy and smooth with fabulous pigmentation! I kept staring at my lips! What a shame these have been discontinued, as they definitely would have replaced my high end lip glosses such as Nars and YSL- that's just how great it is- if they had the right shades for me.
