I have a very personal reason for liking the name of this polish, not to mention that my favorite color is red. It is absolutely beautiful, shimmery with micro glitter, a beautiful deep real red. LOVE. ;-) I bought two bottles and I am glad of it. The formula is great and the polish applies evenly and is perfect with 2 coats. Just gorgeous. Wearing it on my toes right now. Lovely for any time of year, especially if red toes are your thing.

Shampoo -TRESemme - Split Remedy Shampoo

Dislike everything from this line except the clear serum. All the products were like Elmer's glue in my opinion and I threw them all away. It seemed like it could never be rinsed out. Do not like sticky gummy junk in my hair! Oh well. Sorry tresseme but this one was not cool.

Lip Treatments -Bonne Bell - LipSmacker in Cotton Candy

This particular lipsmacker, cotton candy, is my very favorite. I use it more than others, though I love them all! I have used lipsmackers my whole life (I'm 38 now) and will never stop!

Toners -Unlisted Brand - sea breeze astringent - sensitive skin

I love this product. It indeed refreshes your skin. I really love the clove scent, like some of the Cover Girl powders have. It's spicy and becomes more intense with age. It's a lovely scent. Anyway, I've used Sea Breeze on and off for years and its never failed my skin. Great for after extractions and facials. Will continue to buy.

The best, inexpensive, economical, healthy face powder you can find. Every grocery store has it, name brand or generic-doesn't matter at all. I just put some in a little clean sifter jar and apply as one normally would with whatever brush is a favorite. Very pleased. One box lasts for years as well. Marvelous. My skin is light enough (MAC nc20 for ref) and it is perfect.

Loose Powders -Unlisted Brand - Silica Microspheres/powder

This is the generic version of HD powder. It is silica microspheres-silicon dioxide. It looks white but applies colorless. I bought mine from TKB Trading, and I got one ounce for approx. $5. Extremely good deal as an ounce of powder will last quite a long time. I was very surprised and pleased at how much an ounce of powder really is. It came in a tough ziploc type bag with a label, and I decanted most of it into an old clean MAC loose powder sifter jar, then more into another smaller empty clean Bobbi Brown loose powder sifter jar. This powder is loose and is so very fine it mists into the air when disturbed, and I cannot stand the smell of it, but that's easily overcome by holding ones breath while using. The package even says "avoid breathing dust." The powder provides a lovely satin finish and a little bit goes a long way. It just feels incredible on. Too much can be drying. So, save your money on brand names and get this. It's the same thing and you get a ton of product for the price. Plus the shelf life of the powder is indefinite if stored properly. Love it. Great value.

This is the brand and color that Penn Jillette (Penn & Teller) wears on only one of his fingers. Pretty color. A soft pinky red, can be worn sheer or more opaque depending on how it's applied. Love that the name echoes the formula! Yum-jelly apples for Autumn! Great polish.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Mineral Oil

I use drugstore brand mineral oil (found in the laxative section, yuk, but grab and go, no pun intended) and it is odorless (unlike baby oil) and colorless. 16 oz bottle. I love it for moisturizing my face, hair, skin plus it can be used as a makeup remover. Inexpensive. I do like baby oil but the scent bothers me sometimes, and I prefer products with no scent anyway. Plain old mineral oil is perfect for me! It comes in an opaque white bottle with a screw cap. I peeled the labels off so as I was using it for beauty things the word "laxative" wasn't glaring at me. Now, it's just my oil.

Lips -Bonne Bell - LiPSMACKER in Strawberry Vanilla

This is one of the best ones. It smells so good, exactly like a creamy strawberry frosting. It goes on clear and is shiny and moisturizing. The color of the wax is dark opaque pink. There is no shimmer in this one. The tube is pretty and it is an extremely good lip balm. I have had TONS of LiPSMACKERS in my life and this one is outstanding. Yes, I'm 38 years old and LOVE Bonne Bell LiPSMACKERS. There's nothing wrong with that! They are divine. I will collect them as long as they keep making them which hopefully will be forever.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lip Gloss (general)

I have this in pink whisper, and it is great. No taste or scent, good doe foot applicator and the color is a shimmery cool pink. The packaging is very elegant and it's a good size. This is an extremely good drugstore beauty product. The gloss moisturizes and wears well. Sticky, but hey, that's fine with me.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash mascara in brown/black

I love this product, and my secret is making my own curved brush. It can be done even though the brush is small, and I find the product applies perfectly. It's easily washed off and is just a simple basic mascara. You can make it as natural or dramatic as you want depending on how many coats you use. I know you can buy one with a curved brush but it is a bigger brush and that's not what I want. I like the original smallish brush bent into a curve. It works beautifully and is much easier to apply. I like the original kind in either brownish black or black. I save the wands from previous GL tubes and wash them, so when I get a new tube of Great Lash I just put my own hand curved brush in that's ready to go and that's it. Then I wash the new brush and put it away for next time. Prepping the brush beforehand is easier than working with a mascara covered one. Easy, inexpensive and every drugstore carries this mascara.

Opaque sugar bright dark pink! Not neon, fuscia, pastel white pink or "pepto." Just creamy and gorgeous. Really beautiful color.

Polishes -OPI - Russian Navy

This is a really interesting color. In the bottle it's a shimmery dark purple blue. First coat is blue. Second coat brings out the purple. It's a blueberry color really. Or would it be called "blurple" ? "Plue" ? Lol. All in all, very pretty. Looks different depending on the lighting. Stains skin though, but no matter.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Apple Cider Vinegar

I have a plastic bottle filled with 1/4 acv and 3/4 shampoo (any inexpensive shampoo will do-Suave, V05...) and shake to mix. I literally pour it into my hair to wash. Lathers beautifully. I wash and rinse my hair with cold water only. I cannot stand the smell of acv on its own but mixed with the shampoos it brings out the appleness of it and it isn't bad at all. If it didn't there's no way I'd use it because the smell is just YUK. The combo of cold water and this special shampoo mix makes my hair very clean, shiny and just plain nice. I wash my hair only every 3-5 days and use this shampoo every time. I follow with any good conditioner. Just buy any generic acv-doesn't have to be Bragg's or anything expensive. I pick up the huge bottles of Kroger brand acv.

Lotions/ Creams -Lubriderm - Daily Moisture Lotion

This lotion is a great facial moisturizer. Does a great job for my skin, and my skin is oily. This lotion can serve many purposes: mu remover, moisturizer for face and hands and feet, and can be used in hair for moisture as well. My ponytail likes it a lot. Great product, will buy again.
