Eye Primer -Fyrinnae - Pixie Epoxy
rated 5 of 5

I got this in a sample size when I ordered some lip products and I'm very glad I got this. The lack of color works for being a base for every color eyeshadow and it works better than other eyeshadow primers I've tried. UDPP was a disappointment for me and ELF's mineral eyeshadow primer was too greasy to work. I apply this either before or after concealer (since I have very thin and pasty skin and you can see all my veins and discolorations) and it works nicely both ways. It increases the wearing time and makes the colors of mineral eye shadows stand out nicely. I would choose this over all the other eyeshadow primers out there, and I love the company. The themes and colorways of the eye shadow collections are awesome and the lip products are the same. Do it!

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Baby Lips
rated 5 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:49:00 PM

I really like the liquid lipsticks because they are inexpensive, moisturizing and come in plenty of colors. This is a pale pink color without frost. I like it. This is a color that you can put over a pink lip liner or lipstick and tone it down while adding some shine. Wearing it alone can make those with darker skin tones look a little washed out.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF15 - ALL
rated 5 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:46:00 PM

I like these glosses. These are cheap, available, good with a lot of color possibilities. The LE/seasonal packages are awesome with a great variety of colors in one package. These are good for tube glosses. They are fluid, spread easily, give good color payoff, have a great variety of colors and are very inexpensive. While they aren't the most moisturizing glosses I've ever tried, they are pretty good to add to the quick-makeup repertoire. Great for what they are.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Ruby Slipper
rated 4 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:38:00 PM

I like the Luscious Liquid Lipsticks. They're cheap, portable, lots of colors, slightly moisturizing, easy to apply, and don't taste or smell disgusting. This color is a magenta/red without a lot of color payoff unless you put on a thick coat, which then becomes pretty tacky and creates tiny peaks when your lips separate. I thought this would be more red than Cherry Tart, but it just had more red shimmer. It's alright for the price, especially to try different colors. Not bad for a lip gloss, not great for lipstick, alright for liquid lipstick.

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Rosy Tan
rated 4 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:33:00 PM

I love ELF's mineral lipstick formula in general. This color is a good beige with a hint of pink. I got this with Rosy Raisin, thinking they looked different in the swatches online. The bullets look slightly different, but not by much. Where Rose Raisin is cool, this is warm. It looks a bit more grey and orange on me. I wouldn't personally choose this color again, I would choose something with more POP. Pros: Applies nicely Nice opaque color Lasts a few hours without issue Doesn't feather on me No glitter particles to get stuck in the lines Cons: A bit boring, color-wise, very flat to me

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral lipstick in Cool coral
rated 3 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:27:00 PM

I love the formula for ELF's mineral lipsticks. It's moisturizing, glides on smoothly without feathering everywhere. The color payoff varies between colors, but is generally true to the color of the bullet. We all know the swatches on their websites are computer-generated and aren't realistic. Due to this, I researched a lot of individual swatches online. Cool Coral lives up to it's name (one of the only perfect names from ELF). It's a cool coral/pink with a golden/coral shimmer. I really like the color, but it doesn't suit my coloring alone. I would only use it over another color, but I haven't found the perfect one yet. The glitter doesn't necessarily suit me. Pros: Applies smoothly Doesn't feather Moisturizing Pretty color Lasts for a few hours, like most moisturizing lipsticks without rubbing them often Cons: The glitter is frosty but with larger particles

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Lip Lock Pencil
rated 3 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:19:00 PM

This is a decent reverse lip liner. You lining the outside of your lips to keep the lipstick on your lips from feathering over your lips and onto your skin. I tried this with more slippery formulas and it was a bit interesting. Sometimes it feathered into the lines over the pencil and sometimes the lip lock pencil feathers in the teensy-tiny lines of my lips themselves. Straaange. In order for this to work, I needed to use specific lipsticks with lip liner AND the pencil slightly outside my natural lip line. It was pretty useless for me since I have really dry lips most of the time.

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Rosy Raisin
rated 4 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:11:00 PM

I like the color for a neutral and sheer pink/beige lipstick and the formula applies nicely and the color payoff is alright, but it's not the only neutral that works for me. In other words, it is a bit generic of a color and have found multiple drugstore dupes for it. In general, I like the mineral lipstick line and this is a good choice for those seeking a less opaque and moisturizing lipstick without lots of strange chemicals. This is a good neutral lipstick.

Lip Liners -E.L.F. - Mineral Lip Liner
rated 4 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 5:05:00 PM

These are definitely better than other drugstore mineral lip liners, but I'm not sure I would choose them over the high-end liners. For the price, they are nice. The selection is more limited to the generic color families and doesn't necessarily match other lipstick lines with bright/vibrant colors. Overall good liners, but not excellent. Pros: Color selection is good, in family labels The amount is good for the price Price is average for the quality Quality is good Slightly more moisturizing than higher-end lip liners Cons: Still a little of drag on application Staying power is slightly less than competitor products, even under nice lip gloss

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - mineral lip gloss trophy wife
rated 3 of 5
SkullGlitter 3/17/2012 4:58:00 PM

The mineral lip glosses are decent glosses for the price. Like other middle-of-the-road glosses, it applies smoothly and is slightly tacky. The color payoff here is difficult to judge since the base is clear with white-gold flakes. The glitter doesn't settle in the lines and keeps my lips slightly moisturized while it's on. They aren't bad lip glosses, if you are a person that wears lip glosses often. I don't, so I wouldn't repurchase them again for that reason, but if I wanted a lip gloss with golden flecks, this would be my first option.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Palette - Greed [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
SkullGlitter 11/25/2011 8:58:00 PM

I love the peach shades in this pallette, and I think I would buy this again just for those. The silvery shade is horrible, the matte black isn't very blendable if you want it to be extremely dark. I love the shimmery peach as a highlight and the matte peach is a dream to apply and blend. The palest shade has to be applied lightly on me since it's a different tone than my skin color.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single in Brulee
rated 5 of 5
SkullGlitter 11/25/2011 8:52:00 PM

I love the color, the application, the blendability of these, and the color payoff. The packaging isn't perfect, but it's pretty damn good for a less expensive eye shadow. The color works for a highlighter on the brow bone and inner-eye corner. So far, this is the only color I've tried of these single shadows, but I will definitely try more if they are all like this.

Sunscreen -Banana Boat - Protective tanning Dry oil SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
SkullGlitter 11/7/2011 5:54:00 PM

So, I tan sometimes. I love doing it in the winter because it's warm and my skin looks a lot less grey. I'm extremely pasty in the winter and I have a grey cast to my skin with a bright pink flush. I used the samples of the super-expensive lotions for indoor tanning: burning behind the knees, rashes, dried out skin etc. Been using the Hawaiian Tropic T2 indoor tanning lotion and it's alright, but the lotion itself dries me out, independent of the tanning booth. This product is lovely. Smells great, moisturizers, easy to rub in, gets me a little darker faster without burning my sensitive skin. Love.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Yogurt
rated 5 of 5
SkullGlitter 7/30/2011 10:03:00 PM

My favorite of the NYX jumbo e/s pencils. The shimmery champagne-pink is awesome for every usage available with this product. I use this smudged out for a base and it goes well under many looks, even alone with ELF's High Definition Powder dusted on top and eyeliner for busy days. Other colors vary for color payoff. I have issues with the packaging. The lid tends to slide down the stick and squish the product sticking out the top and cracking from the bottom up. I wish there was a lip on the inside of the lid to keep the top from squishing the product.

Eyes -NYX - Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils- All
rated 4 of 5
SkullGlitter 7/30/2011 9:53:00 PM

This is a great product for the price and the colors are pretty. Cherry Culture has good prices and Ulta's got good deals, too. It's got a creamy consistency but not as thick as most cream eyeliners. Yogurt is my favorite, but I reach for Milk and Black Bean, too. If you apply these as creme eyeshadow they tend to crease heavily, even with a base and powder. I always blend them and use them as a colored base for mineral eyeshadow. The colors vary in intensity, too. Rocky Mountain Green maintains the green color when applied thinly, Purple Velvet keeps almost nothing. Yogurt and Milk are stronger, Black Bean gets a bit grey and Pots and Pans is disappointing shimmer. I use these for: Eyeshadow base to match shadow; it must be a thin layer, blended with a finger Waterline; applied thinly with a brush, comes off only with oil/makeup remove
