I got this in Lancome's 2009 Christmas box special. I love the color and the scent but JT's are too sticky for me. I dislike the gloppy feeling it leaves on my lips.

Treatments -Estee Lauder - Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum

As for fine lines and wrinkles, this really doesn't do much. Not from what I've noticed. What I love about this product is the silky smooth feeling it leaves the eye area and the way eye makeup (shadow especially) goes on after applying this.

What I love about this product is the silky smooth feeling it leaves the eye area and the way eye makeup (shadow especially) goes on after applying this. I find this interchangeable with Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum. Both products seem the same to me with little difference in the end result, however I've never purchased either one and don't plan to.
Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray
Shayron 2/21/2010 10:37:00 AM
Sorry to rain on the parade. This got such great reviews which is why I purchased it. I loved the fine mist spray but after about a month of using this product I noticed my ends no longer felt smooth and soft. They were crunchy and stiff. My hair is long and I only use a blow dryer (no other styling tools). It was in better condition before I started using this.
Pressed Powders -Estee Lauder - Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder
Shayron 2/20/2010 11:12:00 PM
I use this as a touch-up over mineral powder if I need to freshen up my face later in the day. It's amazingly quick and easy. It blurs fine lines, takes away shine and instantly my makeup looks just as good as it did in the morning. A little bit goes a long way with this powder. It's silky, not heavy and doesn't look cakey at all. I prefer a brush to apply, rather than the sponge puff. I use Medium.
There's no mistaking this for a classic. It smells like a run-of-the-mill fad perfume. Unoffensive but also unremarkable.
Moisturizers -Lancome - Renergie Microlift R.A.R.E SPF 15
Shayron 2/7/2010 3:13:00 PM
The cream itself feels very silky and light. I didn't notice any lifting/firming or line smoothing which is the hype surrounding this product. It just doesn't deliver. Despite the light, silky feel of the cream it doesn't soak in all the way and leaves a film on my skin. The one time I tried putting powder foundation over it was gross so I only use it at night. Update 4/18/10 - Sometimes you've got to know when to quit. It wasn't worth finishing the jar. I saw no reason to keep using this product and decided I could be using something beneficial instead. It hit the reject bin.
I really didn't see the need for a lash primer. I got it as a GWP and gave it a try even though I didn't want another step to putting on mascara. I curled my lashes and put it on. It held the curl, but so does my mascara. If this ruined the curl I wouldn't have bothered proceeding. At first I was letting it dry because I was doing both eyes before applying mascara. The results were ok but nothing spectacular. When I applied mascara immediately after applying lash primer the results were much better. Nothing life changing, but the mascara went on a lot better than when the primer was totally dry. The only thing I really noticed is that the primer separates your lashes and helps the mascara go on easier. It doesn't add length or volume it just coats them, leaving a whitish cast, so you can see where to apply your mascara. This is not a 'must have' product but I did purchase a larger tube to give it a fair trial and see how long a tube of this lasts. I also had a GWP of Lancome's lash primer. IMO, even though they were very similar, I chose to purchase this one because it was cheaper. The only difference was the brush and I liked this brush better. I usually buy a new tube of mascara every month so this probably isn't something that I really need but I do like the results.
Treatments -Nature's Gate - C for yourself Vitamin C texturizing serum
Shayron 1/31/2010 5:31:00 PM
C for Yourself comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump and has a mild pleasant citrus scent. It soaks right in, minimizes pores and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, There's no stickiness or shine and it hasn't caused any break outs. Mineral or pressed foundation powder glides nicely over this.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex
Shayron 1/24/2010 10:48:00 AM
After trying a couple sample-sized GWP bottles, I can honestly say I'm loving this stuff. Compared to the old formula which left my face sticky, this is much better in that aspect. It also doesn't cause my skin to break out like the old formula. I really wasn't expecting much because I didn't care for ANR until they reformulated it. I use it during the day under makeup and at night under my moisturizer. When used daily it makes my skin look great; it's clear, plumped and even toned (no more red patches). Will definitely purchase the full size when I run out or can't get any freebies to feed my addiction. It's expensive but I really can see a difference in my skin when I don't use this for a few days.
This review is for the Estee Pure Fragrance Spray. I wear this scent when I can't decide what fragrance to put on. Estee is a gentle, unoffensive floral I can use as an everyday or any day scent. Top Notes * Jasmine * Rose * Muguet Middle Notes * Coriander * Ylang-Ylang * Orris Base Notes * Sandalwood * Moss
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Idealist Dual Action Refinishing treatment
Shayron 1/17/2010 5:34:00 PM
I received a sample of this as a GWP. I don't normally use grainy scrub products on my face. This has a warming effect that's supposed to open up your pores, then deep clean your skin, smooth rough patches & flakes. I have no doubt it may do that but I didn't notice much of a difference. Probably because I regularly use a Clarisonic and occasional MUAC glycolic acid peels. The warming effect was pretty cool but I think it's just a gimmick. Did I mention it's overpriced at $50/2.5oz a tube?
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
Shayron 1/17/2010 5:02:00 PM
After using the Neutrogena brand for years I've been wanting to try this to see how it compares. This is every bit as good at removing stubborn waterproof mascara, so the performance deserves a 5. The only difference is the price and Bi-Facil costs approximately four times more than the Neutrogena brand. I won't compare it to the Target brand because that was so bad it ended up in the trash can. Overall, this is a great product, but overpriced. Update: I've switched from all these brands to the one made by Clinique. It works really well on waterproof mascara and is worth the price.
This is comparable to Estee Lauder's Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming cleanser except this is more expensive. You only use a tiny amount of product and it cleans & rinses just as well. Works great with a Clarisonic too.
