It works great for foiling one's eyeshadows with! I like using it with my mineral eyeshadows especially. It really makes the colors pop and it keeps the eyeshadows from creasing or fading at all.

Blush -Bare Escentuals - READY Blush
rated 3 of 5
Reservechic 5/25/2012 7:14:00 PM

I was so excited when BM released their READY blushes. My introduction to such came when I got a chance to try their pressed blush in the shade The Natural High (came in a QVC TSV). It's pinky-peach in tone with a slight golden undertone to it. And, it has a bit of shimmer to it as well. The blush goes on pretty sheer with one swipe. To get a lot of color payoff, you really have to layer it on. Also, it's wearability is pretty okay. And, unlike the BM foundations (that don't have expiration dates), this product does actually come with an expiration date of its own. It does come in a very sleek black compact. The downfall to such packaging is that its easy to get smudges on it. And, inside of the compact, a little application brush is included (for any on-the-go touchups). The READY products do contain lots of added herbal extracts to them. This does add to the addition of scents to such products. This is the only con that I have found with a variety of READY products purchased thus far. And, with this product, YES it does have a slight herbal scent to it. The scent is not overwhelming. But, it is there nonetheless.

Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles
rated 1 of 5

This concealer is only good for covering up only slight shadowing around the eyes. If you are a teenager, you may really love this product. But, if you are in your 20s and over, you certainly may not like it so much. n the lines. This product purely is lacking in the coverage department. Also, I do find its sponge-tip rollerball applicator be more of an actual "con" than "pro", when it comes to applying the concealer. With it, you can't actually layer the product for greater coverage. And, for blending out the product, I find that using a brush is better than using the sponge-tip applicator. The spong-tip applicator actually seems to wipe away some of the coverage instead. This product failed to impress me. And, as a result, I don't plan to purchase it ever again

Blush -New York Color - Color Wheel Mosaic Powder Pink Cheek Glow
rated 4 of 5
Reservechic 4/20/2012 7:15:00 PM

Within this powder, there are a mosaic of nude-pink, deep rose, tan, and coral-pink shades of color all interwoven together. They do contain slight shimmers in them. And, when they are swirled all together (my brush of choice is a stippling brush), they give off a light, very peachy-pink glow to my cheeks. This blush is very affordabe (costs less than $5). Whenever I see this product in-stock (at any of my local Wal-Mart stores), I do stock up on it. It is one of the best cheaper end blushes that is available in the drugstores today. The packaging that it comes in certainly isn't the best. Which is why, you definitely have to be very careful with the handling of it. This is simply a minor con and will certainly never keep me from continuing to buy it.

Blush -Milani - Smooth Finish Blush - Luminous
rated 5 of 5
Reservechic 4/20/2012 8:13:00 AM

It is such an absolutely gorgeous blush to have! Even though this blush has been discotinued from being carried in Walgreens, CVS, etc., anymore, there are still places that you can still purchase it from such as ebay, beautyjoint, and cherryculture. Now, this blush has been touted by others as a "dupe" for Nars Orgasm. Nars Orgasm and Milani Luminous blushes are not exact duplicates of each other. Nars Orgasm goes on a bit more on the corally-pink side, while Milani Luminous goes on a bit more on the peachy-pink side instead. Milani's Luminous is a gorgeous, true pink blush with a sight peachy undertone to it. Also, it does have a bit of shimmer to it as well. And, each time that I wear it, it really aids in give my complexion this nice pick-me-up. Whether you own Nars Orgasm or not, I would highly recommend picking up this blush. It is definitely worth it (in my honest opinion). It is great for wearing all year round.

I absolutely adore this blush! It is a beautiful, peachy-pink blush with flecks of irridescent shimmer throughout. It adds such a sexy pop of color to my cheeks whenever I wear it! It's an absolute must-have (in my opinion)!

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler
rated 5 of 5
Reservechic 4/17/2012 10:38:00 AM

I have purchased several kits from off of the E.L.F. website. Within quite a number of these kits, the $1 Essential Mechanical Eyelash Curler has been included. If I hadn't received it in the kits, I would have never thought to buy it otherwise. I don't normally use eyelash curlers. I had used an eyelash curler way in the past from another brand that was almost scary to use. But, with this one, I don't have that same problem. And, I truly do feel that it helps to make my eyelashes stand out more when I use this before applying mascara to them than without.

It works great for applying pressed and loose powders with! Also, it doesn't shed. wder with! Doesn't shed! And, even though it does come with a rather cheap price tag, I find it to be of great quality.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Professional Bronzing Brush
rated 1 of 5

This brush sheds and is on the scratchy side as well. There are much better brushes out there than this one. I would certainly recommend passing this one up for sure.

Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Mineral Booster
rated 4 of 5
Reservechic 4/17/2012 10:24:00 AM

I own both the small and large sizes of the "Sheer" mineral booster. This is color is not a true translucent shade at all. It has a strong pink cast to it. The color shown on E.L.F.'s website is actually very misleading. However, I have found this shade to blend in pretty well with my medium skintone. It appears practically undetectable. It does keep my skin relatively matte for a long period of time (which I like). And, if you happen to buy the large size, you will have enough powder to last you for several months.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Hypershine Gloss - ALL
rated 4 of 5
Reservechic 4/17/2012 7:30:00 AM

One of the best glosses that E.L.F. offers! I love how glossy they make my looks look. Also, they do come in a nice array of colors as well (with my all-time favorite being the color Fairy). I highly recommend picking these up.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Blending Brush

This brush works perfect for blending out eyeshadows. However, it does shed. However, because it works so well, I am able to overlook such detail.

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Liquid Eyeliner - Black
rated 2 of 5
Reservechic 4/17/2012 7:12:00 AM

I think that this eyeliner is of pretty decent quality. I would actually not have tried it, if it had not come in kits that I had purchased from E.L.F. Overall, I do plan to continue to use it. However, I don't actually think that I would buy it outside of a kit. I much prefer E.L.F.s cream eyeliners the best.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Foundation brush
rated 1 of 5
Reservechic 4/17/2012 7:09:00 AM

I don't find its quality good enough to use for applying foundation with. Just so that I can get some use out of it, I do tend to use it for applying primer to my face from time to time. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend passing this brush up.
