Polishes -Sinful - Hottie
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:43:00 PM
I like this polish. It's a nice color. It's a light, periwinkle blue color with tons of glitter. It has smaller glitter and big glitter. It's a good top coat to a darker color or flat, matte color. It would make for a great acrylic nail tip color. Or a good, fun toe color. It's a good quality polish and lasts long before chipping. I would not purchase simply based on the color not being one I wear often.

Polishes -Sinful - Let Me Go
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:40:00 PM
This color is amazing. It's a sheer, opaque color that has a lot of shift colors. It's base color is a dusty mauve pink, with a green, blue, and yellow shift. It's opalescent and very, very pretty. Lots of shine and a small amount of pearly shimmer. Good quality, lasts long. Great finger nail color if you want bold but not too bold.

Polishes -Sinful - Mercury Rising
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:38:00 PM
This is one of my all-time favorites. This is a great color. It works well in fall. It's a deep, rusty brick red, with a lighter burnt orange rust shift, and gold shimmer. Just typing out the description is making me want to paint my nails this color, lol. Overall good quality and lasts long like most Sinful Colors do.

Polishes -Sinful - Secret Admirer
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:32:00 PM
This is a great color. I love it a lot. It's dark, and goes with everything. The quality of the polish is very good, and it lasts long. I use this color a lot. It's a black, with charcoal gray shift and silver shimmer. I have recently loaned it to my mom, and I need to get it back for fall time! Hee hee.

Polishes -Sinful - San Francisco
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:30:00 PM
I am a big fan of Sinful nail polishes. They are one of my top nail polish brands. I love each and every one of their colors, if only I owned them all! Lol. This color is a good color. It's a dark, sleek, sexy green instead of a bright pea or lime green. It has a touch of black shift. It's a great toe nail color, but I rarely wear it on my finger nails, which is why I said I would not repurchase. Other than that it is a good color, good quality polish that lasts long. The color is just not really an everyday wear color. I purchased this when I was in a more daring phase. I think I might break it out around the holidays, though.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - 6 Piece Eye Brush Set (5 brushes + case)
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:17:00 PM
I love, love, love, LOVE these eye brushes. They are so cute and fun, and work like a charm. They are soft, durable, and apply with ease. They do not shed. I find a use for all of them on my eyes, though not always what they are labeled for. The largest blending brush I use to apply shadow to my lid, and to blend out any harsh lines after I am through applying all the shadow, the crease brush in the crease, the highlighter brush on the brow bone, the shader brush in the corners of my eyes and along the lower lash line, and the smudge brush to either smudge pencil eyeliner or to apply shadow as eyeliner. I absolutely adore the carrying/storage case. It's compact and fits in my purse, and the best part is it has a mirror. These brushes definitely help me get the eye look I am going for day to day. I would be lost without them! Lol.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo 5 Pieces Brush Set (Mineral Makeup)
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:12:00 PM
I love Ecotools very much. They have good quality brushes for a much cheaper price than most quality brushes. I am working on extending my collection of Ecotools brushes at the moment. This brush set is great. They are so soft, and apply product smoothly. I don't use these exactly how you're supposed to. I use the fluffy powder brush as my blush brush, the kabuki as my powder/blending everything brush, the concealer brush as an under-eye concealer brush, and the blending brush as a concealer brush. They all work great, especially the powder brush and the kabuki. I love the little storage pouch, it fits all the brushes into my purse with ease (and room)!

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Stay Glossy - all
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 2:01:00 PM
I purchased this gloss in "Endless Night" when I purchased a few other Rimmel products, and I am really impressed. The color is really neutral compared to a lot of the other glitter bomb lip glosses that are popular right now. It has slight subtle shimmer and no big hunks of glitter. It's a milky chocolate mauve in color. It goes on smooth and is not sticky or gooey. It lasts for hours, even through eating and drinking. It smells slightly of sunblock, but it's not strong or overpowering in the least. It doesn't smell bad in anyway, and does not taste bad. It has no taste at all. The best part is the applicator. It's a sponge type applicator but from two sides it's sort of triangular and flat on the other two sides, like a spatula and slightly larger than most lip gloss sponge applicators. It works well and I really like it. I like this color and formula so much that I will be repurchasing as soon as possible.

Blush -Maybelline - Fit Me -Dark Mauve
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 1:50:00 PM
I am surprised this doesn't have more reviews. This is such a great blush, I simply cannot state in words, lol. It's a drugstore brand, yes, but it is great. I bought it recently to wear for fall, since most of the blushes I own are bright or too shimmery for the colder seasons. I chose it because it looked like a color I hadn't tried before. In the pan it looks like a warm mauve plum with a shimmery sandy colored shift. It looks on my skin just like it does in the pan, and has great pigmentation. It works well with fair and/or olive skin tones. It has definite shimmer, as you can see in the pan, but it goes on with your skin with light shimmer and creates a very subtle but nice glow. It's a good dupe of NARS Sin. It compliments any berry/mauve lip gloss. The brush it comes with really isn't too bad, I just prefer to apply blush with big, fluffy, brushes. The packaging isn't terrible, I just wish it had a mirror. Overall, a good blush, and I will definitely be repurchasing.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 1:07:00 PM
This is a good little eyeshadow palette. The colors all go well together. You can use three or four to create a dimensional, glam look, or use just one or two for a natural look. The colors go on well, feel soft and velvety, and last a long time. They do tend to create a lot of fallout if you are not careful, so definitely put on your foundation last. The darker colors are best used lightly as they can get a little muddy if you try to use too many of them at once or too much of the product. The packaging is horrendous, and I wouldn't suggest it for purse travel, but the shadows well make up for the cheap, flimsy packaging. I gave this 4 lippies instead of 5 because of the packaging, and my wishing this palette had at least 2 matte shades. It is still a good palette though, I would buy it again and recommend it.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment
PrettyDeath 10/17/2011 12:53:00 PM
I love this eyeshadow, especially for a drugstore brand. It was cheap and works great. The colors are very unique, and work well together. The silvery grey eyelid shade seems to have a hint of a lilac shift to it, which I like, and works well with the deep coffee ground brown crease shade. The crease shade has given me a bit of fallout but usually by my own fault for getting too much product on my brush, so use a light touch with that shade. The brow bone highlighter is a great color, very neutral and works well as a highlighter if you prefer a subtle sheen to a frosty shimmer on your brow bone. I would have given this 5 lippies, however, I am on my second trio because after dropping my first one onto carpet, it broke into a million pieces and was a complete mess. So be very careful not to bang this product around or drop it, and you'll be fine.

Lipstick -Urban Decay - 5150
PrettyDeath 9/12/2011 9:04:00 PM
I purchased this because I wanted to try something new. I had never worn red lipstick before, always hearing about how it takes a certain skin-tone and coloring to pull off, so I was hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick. It goes on light and is a nice coral color, and if you build it becomes a very flattering red. Either way it's got lots of glimmer, but not too much. It's very creamy and light, and unlike a lot of buyers, I really liked the smell and taste. I also really loved the packaging, it's not very practical, but very cool and pretty. 5150 is a great color that lasts a long time and always looks good. I will be buying again.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush
PrettyDeath 9/12/2011 8:49:00 PM
I am completely in love with this blush. It's great for all seasons, and looks so natural and yet so glam at the same time. It's got just the right amount of pigment, it can be applied very light or very bright. I would recommend it for any skin tone. I like that it has gold shimmer and not glitter. I am not a fan of glittery blushes, but I like to have a natural glow, so Orgasm did not disappoint. The packaging was very sturdy and well made, and the just the right size. I would will undoubtedly be purchasing again!

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Lip Junkie
PrettyDeath 9/12/2011 8:43:00 PM
I bought UD's Lip Junkie in Perversion and Jilted. I love both of the colors very much. Perversion is very dark, but goes on really light. You can build it up to make a very nice dark color. It's really beautiful. It has lots of sparkle and sheen. Jilted is my favorite. It does look a little too pink in the tube, but it goes on lighter and more natural, with shimmer. I had noticed that both glosses made my lips appear fuller, which was nice. I loved the minty taste and flavor, in fact that's my favorite part of these glosses. I did however, hate the packaging. It looked nice on the outside, but the applicator was terrible. I hated the feeling of the material, and on my Jilted, the applicator was a bit deformed, so it felt like there was a chunk of something stuck to it that was going to get on my lips. Very disappointed with that part, but that's my only complaint. Would not buy again though, because they were a bit pricey for the quality.

Blush -Smashbox - Blush Rush in Heartbreak
PrettyDeath 9/12/2011 8:33:00 PM
I bought this blush on a whim. I wanted something different from the popular sparkly coral-pinks, and found this blush at Sephora. I tried it on, and loved it. It's smooth and powdery, and feels really cool on your cheeks. It's a beautiful dusty red with slight berry/purple undertones. It has shimmer but it's very subtle, just enough to give your cheeks a warm glow. It does look a little dark in the pan, and it will go on heavy if you aren't careful, so be sure to use a light hand and build the product on to your liking. It's worth the effort, because with 2 light sweeps of the cheeks, you have a color that works for any season. You could apply it very lightly for a nice spring/summer rosy cheek, or 3 sweeps for a darker, natural flushed fall/winter look. I have light olive skin, and it looked good on me, so I would recommend it for any skin tone, fair to very dark. The packaging is nice, it's small and compact, and the swivel mirror is really handy. It's a very nice blush and I'm glad I bought it. I will buy again once I run out.
