Mmm yes this stuff is awesome, I didn't like the spray but this is gorgeous, a pinkish red shimmer that does taste pretty darn good, and it's perfect for a night out when you want the light to hit you and for you to sparkle, sparkle!! It comes in a huge container and an adorable puff. Good going Dessert on this one! Another tip sprinkle some in your hair and you'll get the most gorgeous effect. I love how this product amps up your nightime, because in the right light your skin will sparkle and glow, and reflect all kinds of light. Awesome!!
I got into these for awhile, having one in a sort of orange-y color, but it felt so gooey it was nasty feeling. Like the kind of gloss that gets stuck in your hair, attractive looking but I like to believe that things should feel as good as they look!! Call me a sensualist...
Oooh I have this and it is pretty on me. While my skin is tanner than it usually is year round it still looks good over my blush. I do agree though that this gives you an enviable winter glow, like you've hit the slopes and have those gorgeously rosy flushed cheeks. There's a delicate soft pink stripe, a highlighter shade and several subtle variances in the bronzed shades. This is definitely a fun one, and I'm sure once it starts getting a little chilly, this will look even cuter.
I love this fragrance!! Even more than the original because it's lighter and more girly. It smells like a dream, it also has a citrus note (to my nose). So pretty, I dont even know if I'll finish up my original Vera after getting this as a birthday present.
I was really looking forward to trying this fragrance, since I've yet to find the perfect coconutty/tropical perfume. I happen to not hold a personal vendetta against jlo so I was not at all I biased. I remember I bought a bottle of extremely expensive suntan lotion in hawaii and it was the perfect coconut smell, haven't been able to find a replica of that scent yet. But Miami Glow was a disappointment to me because it smelled like something went rancid and I couldn't detect any sweet coconut in there, more like tropicalness + mold = miami glow...
For 35 dollars I expected something much better, no more online makeup shopping for me. LOL This is a "nice" blush but that is about it... I had it in Innocence and Misty Blossom but both have been returned. The split pan blush is pretty but the colors are too similar and they dont have the best pigment. And the packaging is not exceptionally fabulous. I returned this for a Nars blush, a Benefit show off, and 3 sephora round a pouts, phew much better, with 30 dollars to spare.
This is perfect for touch ups, it's sheer but gets rid of the greasies with a lovely powder finish that isn't too matte. This is the best pressed powder I've tried, and the red container is so hot, love the big powder brush it comes with which is actually made of a decent quality. I have a feeling I'll be going through quite a few of these powders in the future, it is expensive though for a drugstore brand, mine costing around 12 dollars, but quality ain't cheap sometimes. Thanks MUA for the review, wouldn't have gotten this otherwise.
Wonderful looking bottle and excellent scent. I couldn't pass this up, I was planning on buying it so I could layer it with other perfumes, but I think it will go quite adequately on its own. It's a fresh rose scent instead of an old, antiquated one, it sort of smells fruity to me. It must be the combination of different rose scents, but it's definitely a keeper. It's very sweetly scented, my first venture into L'occitane.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Bronze Ablaze

I had to narrow the choice down between Coffee Gleam and this, but since this was LE I decided to give this a whirl. This is a stunner, making my lips glisten with a rose tinged bronze color. When first putting this on it was so dramatic, giving a "whoa" effect with all that glitter/shimmeriness but shortly after, it makes itself more sheer. Both looks are quite nice. This is especially flattering with my tan, I just dab it in the middle of my lower lip (over lipstick) and I'm ready to go.
Good product, most loose powders are way too matte and fake looking. I only use a tiny bit of this on my nose, t-zone area, and anywhere that might get a little shiny into the day. It's natural and really gorgeous looking in its finish. Next goal for me is to find a decent pressed powder.
Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Vaseline Intensive Care Nightly Body Renewal

So far I adore this stuff, the pretty colored bottle and the subtle lavendar/grape scent is very charming and highly addictive. I keep sniffing myself like a little weirdo after I put this on. It also is quickly absorbent into the skin, not as greasy as Nivea Night creme. It's a nice change, and it makes my skin feel supple and soft to the touch..
Lotions/ Creams -Queen Helene - Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion

This is smells so beachy and I really couldn't detect the cocoa in here, but it sure did smell coconutty and somewhat reminescent of suntan lotion. It reminds me of Hawaii, and this is great for the summertime, slathering yourself up or even when you want to remind yourself of a tropical getaway. This is pretty moisturizing and while I wouldn't wear it everday it's great for when you want to smell like you spent a day on an island, soaking up the rays. This comes in an obscenely huge container about 32 fluid ounces, and is also extremely cheap,I think I would value this stuff more if it came in a wee bit smaller container!!! Good stuff,I love coconut smells, and this is a good one.
Love this!! A golden brown with a shot of red iridescence. Mmm mmm, if you have brown eyes this is literally a must or if you are the owner of a pair of eyelids, period. This has got to me one of my favorite eyeshadows.
Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Baked Collection - Baked Gingersnap
Amandafly 8/22/2005 3:27:00 PM
I was such a fan of Baked Smokes, Spices, and Sands that I caved in and bought this. Too bland for me, there's a basic hot cocoa brown, pink, and neutral cafe aulait shade, I thought that all of the baked eyeshadows would be highly pigmented but this one was not, it reminded me of this average Maybelline Trio I bought a long time ago with the same colors.
I have this in Bambi (which looks so BORING in its plastic container) but once on my lids it's like magic. The most gorgeous looking neutral color I've ever had, comprable to BE's faux fox, but a little lighter and more natural looking. This enhances my eyes but in a very natural and gorgeous way. I have another eye shadow in a lilacy color and another in a deep purple, but Bambi is my favorite. Very beautiful consistency and texture too.
