i love using this eye shadow for highlighting. it's soooo smooth and pigmented. with one light swatch with my finger, the color pay off is JUST AMAZING... especially comparing them to my l'oreal and cover girl shimmery/silvery/light eyeshadows which i have to keep on rubbing and rubbing to get the color to show up on most of them. for real.
i truly do believe that anyone can use this scrub. just as long as you use it correctly and accordingly to what skin type you have. it's my facial cleaner that i use every other day (or less) in gentle upward motions, or else i'll break out if i scrub too hard. i love this stuff and have been using it since forever.
it's pricey to go to sephora and buy a brow kit for over $15 and up. (unless you're really obsessed with your eyebrows or you really love expensive make-up) when you can easily buy the e.l.f. eyebrow kit for $3 and get good quality results: it's definitely worth your money. the wax works, the powder works, yeah... i love how it comes with a tiny little double-sided angle and blending brush. the packaging looks like a black NARS blush thingy. i love the e.l.f. brow kit more than my $24 smashbox brow kit i randomly got with a sephora gift card. greeeaat value!!!!!
these are just really great. i have about 3 or 4 of them. very moisturizing and pigmented. love love love.
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad (all shades)

they have alot of shadow in them. some of their shades aren't really pigmented very well. i like using natural/neutral colors, that's why i'm personally satisfied with them. they will last you for a long time. really... they come with a double sided sponge applicator. my favorite is swiss chocolate and it has more pigment than most of the other shades. they've come out with more brighter and vibrant colors with their Covergirl Blast colors. not super pigmented, but are buildable and have a soft consistency. would purchase again if i ever run out of them!
i use a thin line, because if you apply too many coats it will start flaking away and it won't feel "comfy" on your lids. you can feel the hardness. but this is not a horrific product. i have it and i don't use it much. very skinny and thin brush. it may be a good cheap liner to have around to practice applying liquid liner with. i like thin lines on my upper eye lid, and that's why i use it sometimes. Update: I really admire how chrisspymakeup uses this liner. she makes me want to give this another try but I have so many other liquid liners that don't flake off on me. The elf one works much better and doesn't flake or feel flaky on my lids.
very moisturizing. never feels gooey/sticky on my lips. very natural colors. my favorite one is gleam. these are pretty great.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers - Cool Cocoa Mint Splash

i love the sheer color with a hint of brownish/caramel tint. it tastes great. very minty. smells good. not sticky at all.
UNFORTUNATELY, i do not own this perfume. i just put Yes for the "buying this product again" section. =) this scent is so amazing. it's just super expensive. i bought it for a friend as a gift. went to nordstrom's to grab it, and found out that it was just soooooo awesome. has a light, floral scent that is really unique. the sales lady was telling me how it's a really popular fragrance. i never buy it since it's so expensive and i already have alot of designer perfumes. so if i'm at the fragrance counter by any chance, i spray it all over me sometimes b/c i love it so much!
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Cotton Blossom body spray

i just love this fresh scent. not expensive, especially with all the sales and deals that bath and body works offers. very light and not too overpowering. i just love the smell of fresh laundry and cotton blossom is similar, in a very non-laundry detergent way.
packaging is cute. smells great. i use it all the time. it's worth buying. one of my top five favorite scents out of my gargantuan perfume/body mist collection. i love it.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HiP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner
Chubz 5/12/2009 4:21:00 PM
it's pricey for a drugstore cream liner. i know that wet n' wild is even coming out with cream liners and stuff like that for a lot cheaper, like for $3 something and they work okay. but i like this l'oreal one. i don't have a problem with smudging since i only pick up a little bit with my angle brush, because they're super pigmented and i always set it with Benefit SheLaq afterwards. i like it.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)

i'm pretty thrifty when it comes to purchasing make-up/essentials. i'm always about bargains, unless it's something i know is worth my money and it works. however, if you can invest at least $42 to buy a M.A.C. 187 brush, i GUARANTEE that you'll be very happy and satisfied! it's a high quality brush. super soft bristles that never shed. works wonders when i apply my blush and foundation. i have the one with the short handle. it's my favorite brush in my collection. makes my blush look fabulous on the type of skin that i have. very very happy with it!!! only time it will ever possibly shed is if you use it too hard on your face, which is not necessary since the bristles do all of the blending with light gentle movements with your hand.
i love neutral colors and that's why i love this shade. good base color. good pigmentation and is really buildable. i watched xteeener's (huge fan btw) tutorial on youtube and this is one of her favorites. she says it's great to use it to fill in brows but i personally don't like to do that. or maybe i'm just not doing it correctly =P. it was too shimmery for my eyebrows and looked like a shiny plum color in the sunlight. but whatever works for whoever is good. greeeat eyeshadow!
wow... after reading the comment below i guess i have to do some better research. but for the time being, i just have to address how i love how my skin looks after i use biore strips. i have huge pores on the tip and sides of my nose and huge pores on my cheeks near the sides of my nose. and after i use the strips, my skin looks instantly cleaner and smoother. i bought a box with nose and face strips. you can cut up the face strips and use it for the pores on your cheek area next to the sides of your nose. and you can save the extra pieces for future uses! but make sure to wait till they're completely dry and peel them off slooowly. the strip will pick up alot of impurities if you do so. and to wash your face for a second time so that your cleanser will penetrate into the clear pores. a bit pricey. i hear some people use elmer's glue as an alternative. ick.
