Conditioner -Infusium 23 - Moisturizing Revitalizing Condition
rated 5 of 5

Now this is a great conditioner! My hair is very dry from coloring and I'm constantly trying out new conditioners, searching for the best one. If this isn't it then it's pretty darn close. Makes my hair shiny, easy to work with and very smooth. My hair is very straight, long and layered and this conditioner doesn't weigh it down at all. I'm not wild about the shampoo that you are supposed to use with this conditioner, I like my shampoos to be shampoo+conditioner so I use Finesse, which works really well with the infusium conditioner. Don't think I'll be using anything else for awhile.

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 28 Neutral Palette
rated 3 of 5
tuffers 11/20/2008 6:49:00 AM

I just got my coastal scents neutral palette yesterday so I may be doing this review too soon. Anyway, so far I really like it. Not only are there pretty browns in this palette there are also some lovely plums. As a matter of fact, I kind of like the plums better. There are some very shimmery shades that I don't really like for myself (I'm too old for shimmer) but I can certainly use them on my daughters as I do their makeup for school dances. The colors are very pigmented on the darker shades, I'm not sure if I like the highlighter shades, yet. They seem a bit chalky. The shipping was amazingly fast. I placed my order late on Friday and received it the following Wednesday. I'm thinking of ordering some brushes, even though I know they shed.

Blush -LORAC - Powder Blush in Rose

Now this is a great blush! I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner. Soft, believable color, no shine, applies evenly. I'll never use anything else.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash

I hated this mascara. Black color doesn't appear to be a true black, the product is thin and the flexible wand sucks. Into the garbage it goes!

Powder -Cover Girl - TruBlend Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
tuffers 6/28/2008 8:19:00 PM

Love this powder foundation! The coverage is light/medium and doesn't have the annoying shine of Bare Minerals. The packaging is cheap and that's my only complaint. Oh, the brush it comes with sucks too, so I use my kabuki brush that I bought from Bare Minerals. Works great! Will definitely keep using.

Clothes -Victoria's Secret - General Opinion
rated 2 of 5

A couple of years ago I was shopping with my older teen daughters and they needed panties. I like the plain cotton panties at VS so I took them there. Mistake. That place had gotten so trashy that I thought I was in Fredericks of Hollywood. What happened to their classic, beautiful lingerie? I got my daughters out of there and apologized to them. Didn't go back until recently, wanted to give them another chance and I was semi-glad I did, their stuff wasn't nearly so trashy. They don't have bras that fit small busted me but I still like the cotton panties. I was very glad to see that they toned down the skank factor.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Preference Shine Extending Hair Color
rated 5 of 5
tuffers 5/10/2008 9:50:00 PM

I've been using Colorsilk in a strawberry blonde shade and although the color is pretty, it fades after two weeks. Since red fades so quickly, I decided to switch to brown and used Preference in Lightest Golden Brown. The color is absolutely perfect, my hair is soft and shiny. Just colored last night so I'll have to update my review later on how long it lasts. I like a red tint to my hair (I'm a natural redhead but mostly grey now) and this color did give a lovely light reddish brown. Before when I've used colors labeled as "light reddish brown" they were waaaay too dark. Excellence by Loreal in light reddish brown is very, very dark. The smell of Preference is very strong and burned my eyes a bit. It's also thin and drippy but well worth the trouble and smell since the color is so perfect and natural looking.

Hair -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme Haircolor
rated 3 of 5
tuffers 3/21/2008 9:18:00 PM

This review is for the color Light Reddish Brown. I colored my about 3 days ago and I'm starting to like the color better, now that it's had a few days to oxidize. I really disliked it when I first colored, it was waaaay tooooo dark, almost a red/black. I would buy Excellence again, just not in this color. It left my hair very conditioned and shiny, the color was just too darn dark.

Shampoo -Garnier - Fructis - (Colored hair formula)

The Garnier Fructis products make my hair feel strangely coated and weighed down. I do like the scent, though. Won't buy again.

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Dry Idea Clear Gel
rated 5 of 5
tuffers 2/4/2008 6:31:00 AM

This is my HG antiperspirant. Been using it for many years and it's the only thing that stopped my uncontrollable sweating. I use the scent "fresh clean" and it definitely is. If this is ever discontinued I'll be heartbroken.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Casting color [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

I have very good luck with this hair color. My hair is auburn but has faded to a dull gray with lots of white strands. I use Colorspa in Golden Copper (or Sunset, I think it says on the box). and it turns my hair a lovely red color, like Marcia Cross. It fades pretty quickly but doesn't seem to hurt my hair when I color often. When I can't find this color I use Revlon Colorsilk, which is also a nice red color, but it doesn't seem as gentle as Colorspa. You can find Colorspa at www.harmondiscount.com, one of the few places it's available. I buy several at a time since I'm afraid it's going to be discontinued. My hair is nearly waist length so I use 2 boxes at a time. This color is a bit drippy. Also, I leave it on 45 minutes, the color is richer and lasts longer that way. I did not do the touch up application, even though my hair has been previously colored.

By far, the best tweezers on the market. I can pick my face black and blue with these suckers.

I love this make up, it's every bit as good as Lancome and tons cheaper. I apply my foundation first then powder it down with Bare Minerals in Light, Comes out looking smooth, natural and professional.
