Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

I have very enlarged pores. This had been my staple pore minimizer for a few years as at the time there were no other pore minimizers available that I could get being younger and without a credit card (now its hello paypal and internet shopping), however whenever I went out I always noticed in the bathroom mirrors my makeup always looked scary as this product would always settle in my pores and make them so much more obvious. I realised I had 2 problems 1. applying my makeup in our poorly lit bathroom was doing me no favours (so I went and brought a mirror on a stand which lights up it has two sides a normal mirror and a magnifying mirror) and 2. once buying said mirror I realized whilst this pore minimizer filled my pores well kind of like putty it was damn noticeable and just drew attention to my pores more so. Also in my years of using it I could never find a liquid foundation that would go over top of this as it either rubbed off/pilled/made my pores look like craters. I did give this product 1 star because it had very good staying power. Otherwise for me it ended up being more a pore magnifier. EDIT: the new reformulated version is a lot better, although I think its review is under a different name so that you know its the new version

Primer/ Corrector -Napoleon Perdis - Auto Pilot Pore Minimizer and Mattifier

I did use the product a few years ago. I have very enlarged pores and this did virtually nothing to disguise them it also didn't mattify my skin much either my skin got oily very quickly more so then it normally does. It just gave it a slight soft focus effect to my skin and also made my skin feel silky however and makeup did go on easier, however with visible pores. If they had just called it a primer (since it didn't minimise pores nor mattify) it would have been a better description I think. Won't be repurchasing.

Primer/ Corrector -ModelCo - Skinperfect Pore Minimiser

First off this product comes in a very small tube. It does minimize pores when you first apply it however it doesn't last to long, if you try to cover your pores perfectly it pills and becomes very noticeable, you cant apply anything over top because it pills and rubs off and makes your pores seem even larger. Overall I guess if you wanted to very briefly minimize your pores and go sans any type of foundation then yeah buy this, otherwise don't, I know I won't be repurchasing.

Primer/ Corrector -Becca - Line and Pore Corrector

I have very enlarged pores and as a primer this does okay, it feels very silky on my skin (I am kind of worried it may break my skin out, feels to heavy for me in the hot australian summer, however I will test how it goes in winter). I'd say its oil controlling abilities are a bit under average for me even with powder on top. It minimizes my pores a little kind of like a little soft focus effect, that's why i gave it 3 stars as its not great, and also trying to apply any other pore minimizers over top just doesn't work with this product (when i try dr brandts pore refiner or cliniques instant perfecter or mirenesse Pore Perfect Cover Air Mousse Primer over top of this it becomes quite noticeable).

Primer/ Corrector -Clarins - Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

This product did minimize my pores a little for oh about 5 to 10 minutes as it rubs off easily and also its effects don't last with my oily skin and it also feels very heavy on my skin when i wear it, and when i try and apply makeup over top it just rubs off to whether i apply makeup with a brush or hands. I think perhaps for people with dryer skin it may work better but for me it didnt. Won't be repurchasing.

Treatments -Dr. Brandt - Pore Refiner

So far this is the best pore refiner I have used, minimizes pores well if you at first spread some onto your face then pat a little more into your very noticeable enlarged pore areas (my cheeks and nose). It doesnt have the staying power like cliniques instant perfector so I took one lippie off, but it doesn't cake in my pores making them noticeable like cliniques instant perfector and is far easier to apply makeup over then clinique (however if i apply dr brandts pore refiner over makeup it just rubs my makeup off so unlike its description i suggest putting it under your makeup).

Primer/ Corrector -Pure Luxe Cosmetics - Eraser

I brought this for its supposed pore minimizing qualities,as I have very enlarged pores and am currently on a quest to find my ideal pore minimizer (have tried cliniques instant perfector, clarins instant smooth perfecting touch, dr brandts pores refiner, modelco pore minimizer, Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pore Minimizer and Mattifier, becca line and pore corrector, mirenesse Pore Perfect Cover Air Mousse Primer). This did hardy anything in the way of minimising my pores, it felt like I had applied vaseline to my face, and looked like i had applied vaseline to my face (clung to small hairs had to blot with a tissue) and looks like vaseline to with a smidge of makeup mixed in it. I won't be repurchasing this. p.s. also does not look like picture, looks darker and like vaseline mixed with makeup as i've already stated.
