Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

This is an excellent moisturizer if you don't have oily/acne prone skin. My skin has broken out, not horribly, but if I keep using this I'm certain it will keep getting worse. I'm going to try Clinique's DDMG and see how that does.

Moisturizers -100 Percent Pure - Organic Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration SPF15

This is for the Spf 20 version as well (I think the 15 spf listed on their website is a typo) I've been using since Jan. 1st. I love this product. It does not break me out and smells like fresh citrus when I put it on before my makeup every morning. It is not greasy, and really does absorb quite quickly. I usually brush my teeth after puttin it on, then apply some concealer and then by the time I'm done with that I can apply my makeup. But it's always been dry by then! I love the fact that I am really protecting my skin and putting something so wonderful on it. You've gotta try it! As another reviewer said their Acai Berry eye cream is wonderful too. And if you don't like it 100%pure will take it back within 30 days for a full refund!! *****Update****** 1/31/09 I still really like this a lot but I have had to stop using as it has broken me out very badly! I'm glad this works for the others, it just seems that the skin on my face can't handle some ingredients in here. However, their lip gloss, mascara and eye creams are very wonderful with me :) Good luck!

Shampoo -Nexxus - Diametress Shampoo

I didn't like this, made my hair feel heavy and weighed down... very dirty feeling. This is supposed to be their volumizing shampoo but honestly my hair looked like greasy stringy ick. Now, their 'therappe' shampoo is supposed to be moisturizing, which it is, but for me, it's also very volumizing. I always get incredible lather with it... I wonder if they mixed up the labels between the two shampoos?!?! I will stick with "therappe" - love it!

Lip Gloss -100 Percent Pure - Fruit pigmented lip gloss - Sheer strawberry

pink_rosies 10/26/2008 10:21:00 PM

Pros: Smells great All organic fruit pigments, flavors, scents & etc Pretty colors Not poison for your lips Cons: "Twist to apply" Pckging stinks. Very hard to control when/how much to get out as it takes FOREVER - but I just checked out the website and they do have the wand version now! (hope to try) Have to apply A LOT to get color, but still just looks like your natural lip color is enchanced (which some ppl may like) I got this by accident from QVC b/c I ordered this brand's mascara and they sent me this instead! But b/c they are such great a Customer Service company they let me keep the lipgloss and sent the mascara the next week! Never been disappointed with QVC. Anyway... I probably won't get this again but I am going to try more from this line! www.100percentpure.com

I am so bummed b/c this has been discontinued!! I have really short hair and I use a 1/3 the size of a dime on my hair everyday. I put it on my fingertips and emulsify it then apply it to my scalp and shake my fingers in my hair to give it some "umph" works every time! I'm sorry it didn't work for the others. When I first got in back in 2002-2003 I didn't use it too much and then I got short hair and came across it and have basically used it as a texturizer. And yes...I have had the same bottle since when I first bought it!!! If I knew it was going to be discontinued I would've bought more!!!

Lip Treatments -Blistex - DCT for lips - Daily Conditioning Treatment SPF 20

I do not agree with BrookeMcQueen78 about it not protecting you against UVA/UVB rays. The only rays it can't protect you from (along with any other product) are UVC which don't even reach the earth anyway! Please don't think this won't protect your lips from the sun, the following information I got from: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sunscreen/SN00044 Be sure to select a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Broad-spectrum products provide protection against both UVA and UVB radiation. Look on the ingredient labels for oxybenzone, sulisobenzone, avobenzone (Parsol 1789), ecamsule, titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. Chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays before they can cause any damage. They contain one or more ingredients, such as avobenzone or oxybenzone, which absorb UVA or UVB rays. And yes, DCT contains oxybenzone which absorbs them before they reach your skin. The webpage also states that there are to types of sunscreens, physical which reflects the rays and chemical - absorbs them. So anyway either one protects you! I have used this lip balm forever, and I always put it on right before lipgloss or lipstick and when I go to bed. I probably have to apply it about every 2 hours depending on the season b/c in winter my lips dry out horribly. I love this stuff. As others have said I wish it came in a stick form, I hate having to stick my fingers in there. But anyway I have used this as a form of lip protection for a very long time and I always get compliments on how beautiful my lips are!

Lip Gloss -Mary Kay - Lip gloss

I have never found a lipgloss better than MK's. I have tried all the colors (used to be a rep.) but Gold Rush is my favorite & HG now. It looks great alone or over lipstick depending on how bold I want to go. Gosh...it is so great being a girl! The only con is that it doesn't have SPF. But I usually have that in my lipbalm I put on every morning.

Lip Treatments -Mary Kay - Satin Lips - Lip Mask only
rated 5 of 5
pink_rosies 10/12/2008 8:38:00 PM

I have used this forever. I used to brush my lips VERY lightly with a toothbrush but no matter what I always got bumps and hated how they felt!! So I love the mask more than anything because my skin cells on my lips shed like crazy!!! So after I brush my teeth every morning I put this on, style my hair (takes about 5min -I'm actually one of those that wakes up with hair ready to go for the day...crazy I know) and I wet my fingers and gently rub it off. If I forget it, my lipstick/lipgloss that day never looks as good! There isn't one thing I dislike about this, I used to dislike the packaging but its great now!!! Thanks Mary Kay for making such a fabulous product!!!

Lip Treatments -Mary Kay - Satin Lips mask and balm

I have used this master lip duo for a while. I love the mask more than anything because my skin cells on my lips shed like crazy! So after I brush my teeth every morning I put this on, style my hair (takes about 5min.) and I wet my fingers and gently rub it off. If I forget my lipstick/lipgloss never looks as good! And the lip balm I use more at night. I always put lip balm on a night b/c your mucus membranes dry out at night so its very important to keep them moisturized. This lipbalm is honestly the best moisture treatment I've ever used. Its not greasy at all, but stays on for atleast 6 hours like it says!! (thats what the old packaging said anyway) The only con about the lipbalm is I wish it had SPF.
