Eye Shadow -MAC - Rite of Spring from Danse Collection

Slightly frosty opalescent pale pinkish eye shadow with a slight hint of pale lavender. Definitely too light for an all over color, but I love it as highlighter on brow bone.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Peachy Scene

Beautiful pinkish coral, looks fresh and pretty against my fair skin. If I desire more pink, I apply a light pink gloss over this lipstick or a coral lip gloss to make my lips more like ripe, sweet peaches. I do not detect any bad lipstick smell and the finish is pretty smooth - not glossy looking but definitely not dry. I'm able to wear this lipstick without chapstick or gloss.

Mascara -Revlon - Double Twist Waterproof

The mascara itself is pretty bad, it does absolutely nothing to my eyelashes, other than coat them with some color. The wand is awful, the mascara gets trapped in the center of it. This purchase was a waste of money and because of it, I will stay away from Revlon mascaras - going back to Cover Girl.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sable Eye Shadow

I just re-discovered Sable and wow, do I love it!!! A must-have for blue eyes! Up until now, I have used Sable in the crease or on outside corners. Often times, I paired it with Jest or Jete. Today, I applied it all over my lid and am stunned at the outcome, what a beautiful color this is: plummish taupe with hints of bronzy burgundy/pink. Glides on like a dream and has just enough shimmer, does not sparkle. Quite a unique color and now that I've hit pan and started thinking about whether to repurchase, the answer is a strong YES.

A light floral/fruity fragrance, can be headache inducing if overly sprayed. It’s on the fresh side with a burst of sweetness. Staying power is rather short-lived.

Shampoo -Clairol - Shimmer Lights

I use Shimmer Lights about once a week and the results are fantastic! My blonde highlights come alive and become brighter. I lather the shampoo up and rub into my scalp, then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Do not expect this shampoo to highlight your hair, but it does neutralize brassy tones. This shampoo is a bit drying, cannot be used without conditioner.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Innocent

Quite strong and enticing. I do not, however, smell chocolate. The strongest notes that I can make out are: musk and amber with a hint of tobacco. It's a beautiful conoction, very unique.

Cleansers -Dove - Gentle Exfoliating Daily Facial Cleanser

This is at the top of my list of favorite facial cleansers. The beads are microscopic, can barely feel the scrubbing power, but I prefer fine granules over chunky ones. I love how my face feels after using this exfoliating cleanser – clean and soft, does not dry out my skin. The light scent is pretty and the product lathers up rather nicely. I always have a tube of this sitting in my shower.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Trax

Very attractive at first glance in the pot – soft purple with gold sparkles. Eyes can look bruised if too much of this is applied – at least it appears so on my fair skin. I love it as eyeliner or in the crease, but it’s a bit too dark for me to use all over lids. I love the slight shimmer, reflects light and brightens my blue eyes. I would probably repurchase, though I’ve had my pot for over 3 years and have yet to make a dent in it.

Fragrances -Escada - Rockin' Rio

Another sweet and fruity fragrance from Escada. In this version of Escada’s summer in a bottle, pineapple takes the lead. I do like the exotic fragrance of Rockin’ Rio, but it can get a bit heavy. Pretty bottle, so bright and fun.

Awesome mascara! My lashes don’t clump and get so long, they almost reach the sky! Smooth formula, goes on like a dream and washes off just as easily.

Matte, soft mauvy plum, on the cooler side. Quite versatile, though the color looks a lot better around the eyes than in the pot. It’s one of those eye shadows that come alive when paired with other colors. I purchased Quarry about 3 years ago and have yet to hit pan but if I do use this one up, will definitely repurchase.
