This is one of the worst MU buys I have ever made. I bought Mouth Off, which is a raspberry color. The product is a hard slab of smelly wax that doesn't apply or wear well. Yuck!!

Lip Liners -Trish McEvoy - Iced Nude

For anyone who likes the look of W&W's 666 l/l but can't stand its quality (hard and drying), Iced Nude is the identical shade but without the limitations (and only costs 16 times as much--lol). I will buy it again. It's a gorgeous rosy nudey bronzy slightly shimmery color that goes with my lips and nearly every lipstick. It's easy to apply and worth the money.

Lotions/ Creams -Olay - Quench Body Lotion Extra Dry Skin

This is the most effective body lotion I have ever used. For the first time ever, my skin doesn't look dry an hour after applying lotion. I also like that it's available in an upside-down squeeze bottle, so no issues with wasted product. It's amazingly inexpensive as well. Definitely a keeper.

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Shadow Basics 2004

Wow--I can't believe I've been here nearly a year and never tried to use eye shadow as liner! This palette has non-shimmer versions of Bone, Tan and Espresso and makes a gorgeous neutral eye. The little liner brush is excellent, but for the shadow I use my own brushes. So--Bone as wash, Tan in the crease and Espresso as liner make my blue eyes just pop. I wouldn't have thought such a neutral palette could do that. Nice and compact for travel, too.

Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict Ultra-Shine Sheer Lipcolor - 612 Shiniest Chestnut [DISCONTINUED]

This shows up on me as a sparkly, very shiny YLBB rose/brown/mauve combo. Except it's more dramatic than a typical YLBB shade because of the silver sparkles. Application is smooth, packaging is gorgeous (even tho it only has the 612 number on it and not the actual color). My only criticism is the scent, which I could live without.

Lotions/ Creams -Sephora - SuperStars - Super Loaded Body Lotion

This is a good product in cheapo user-hostile packaging. The lotion is absorbant and smoothing with no icky smells. The sawed-off pump means it's really hard to get the stuff into your hands. What were they thinking! At $18 for 10 oz., I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a decent pump or better way to get the stuff out of the bottle.

Lipstick -Sephora - Ultragloss Lipstick No. 29

This is a really pretty, shiny l/s in a gorgeous medium rose/brown color (even tho it's called "Chocolate" on Sephora's web site). It's got decent staying power for such a glossy and cheap l/s ($10) and can be worn by itself for a very natural look or with l/l for more drama or to modify the color a bit. Will buy again--this is a good color to stash in various purses, desk and car.

This is a simply gorgeous medium rosy YLBB color that can give the full range of looks from an utterly natural look if applied lightly or blotted, to a dramatic look if applied heavily. Even more looks come by varying lipliners and by using or foregoing gloss. This is perfect, and I thank the MUAer who listed it in response to a favorites poll. Oh, and no scent. Another plus. 2008 update: I wish it was more emollient. I like simplicity, and this really requires balm underneath or gloss on top.

This is a very pretty natural flush pink blush. It has some gold shimmer and lasts until I wash it off. The brush is a throwaway--needs to be applied with a real brush.

Got as GWP and used on 1 side of my face. No difference--save your money. GWP lasted about a week--presumably manufacturer thinks this is enough time to do its thing.

Bleu Marine between the lashes, applied with a push brush, is a must for blue-eyed gals. Makes my eyes absolutely pop.

Wow. I could not have invented a more perfect YLBB lip gloss. And no bad smells! This is ridiculously expensive, but it's so gorgeous that I'd buy again.

Lipstick -LORAC - Sheer Lipstick in Just Kissed

This is an ultra ultra sheer very natural lip color that looks like I'm not wearing lipstick at all. But my lips look healthy and natural instead of invisible. The stick is a deep wine, but it is so sheer that it gives a natural YLBB lip.
