I'm quite pale and find this lipstick looks great on me with a little bronzer. If I'm too washed-out, it begins to look too orange and garish. I love, love, love the smell of MAC's lipsticks and don't find them drying at all. The lustre formula doesn't last as long as I'd like, but it's quite a sheer lipstick so I don't mind reapplying.

Mascara -The Body Shop - Curling Mascara

I'm on my second tube of this mascara, and while I don't love it, it does the job well enough. It's a pretty basic mascara that doesn't make my eyelashes look like a man-trap, but gently defines them. I also like the "brown" colour, which I use instead of black because I'm so pale. It's reasonable priced, and the packaging looks nice and elegant. Overall, a good product.

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Touch Tint for Eyes - Nude Sparkle [DISCONTINUED]

This is the only eye-shadow I'm using right now, and together with MAC's Jest, the only one I've tried that I'm planning to repurchase. It's a perfect neutral shade that's able to "wake me up" when I'm underslept. It's also beautifully creamy. My only complaint is that it has a tendency to crease a bit as the day goes on. Usually, I wear this with a little bit of brown eyeliner and mascara and I'm good to go.

Blush -NARS - The Multiple in Mauritius

I was suckered in to buying this at Holt Renfrew one day by a MA who did my makeup in a certain "style" which I loved but will never be able to duplicate. I find it works best on very well-moisturized skin with no imperfections. I find that if there's a hint of an imperfection on my face, this just highlights it. It's quite good for that I've-just-run-a-mile or I've-just-drunk-a-bottle-of-wine flush. Overall, good product, but soooooo expensive that I won't buy it again.

Sunscreen -Clinique - City Block Sheer Oil-Free Face Protector Spf 15 [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this while I was on vacation because I needed a moisturizer with sunscreen ASAP. I hardly used it before I had to return it. The packaging is great and cute; however, although I've used Clinique face care products before, for some reason this stuff made my skin go crazy. Every time I put it on it stung and turned the skin on my cheeks and nose red. A huge disappointment and I will not be repurchasing this product. Also, I'm not sure since I didn't get to use all of this up, but it didn't seem like there was a lot of product in the tube, since I assume you are supposed to be wearing it like a sunscreen and not sparingly like a moisturizer.

Lip Treatments -Nature's Gate - Neroli Orange & Chocolate Mint Lip Balm

I fell in love with the smell of this product while working in a health food store. Now I have all three flavours. It's more gloss than balm, so I wouldn't recommend it for men—too shiny. The tin is cute, and although I know tins are unsanitary and inconvenient, I don't really mind it. Overall, good product and I would definitely buy this again.
