Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss Plum Glaze
mulove 5/31/2005 1:22:00 AM
I don't know what happened w/ this one, but I don't care for this Glassy Gloss at all. I love my other two: Sun Glaze and Sugar Glaze, but for some reason Plum Glaze seems to have different texture and consistency. Also, it is not as sheer as the other ones. The color goes on very uneven, so I have to use lip brush to apply it. Still it goes on uneven. This is by far my least fav Glassy Gloss.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss Sun Glaze

I LOVE this color! Sun Glaze gives my semi-pigmented lips a sheer wash of shimmery pinky brown that is MLBB. Not sticky, but not too watery either. If you are okay w/ the smell, I say try it.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss
mulove 5/31/2005 1:02:00 AM
I have Sun Glaze, Sugar Glaze and Plum Glaze. Sun Glaze gives me a sheer wash of shimmery pink brown that is YLBB. This is my fav color. Sugar Glaze is a opalescent peachy+nude color with shimmer. When applied to my semi pigmented lips, it gives me sheer shimmery peach nude wash. Finally Plum Glaze is more pigmented than the other two. I was hoping this was sheer like the other ones, but it wasn't. The texture is bit irregular and I had easier time applying this w/ a lip brush, but still it looks uneven on my lips. This is my least fav color. Like other Wet 'n' Wild l/g and others have mentioned, these do have plastic-like smell to them, but they don't bother me too much. I wouldn't compare these to MAC l/g, b/c MAC is much more stickier than Wet'n'Wild. So, if you are okay w/ the smell and don't care for the sticky l/g, these are perfect for you!

Highlighters -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat No 1

I didn't care for this concealer at all. The color has too much pink in it to be used on a person with a yellow undertone. I suppose that was the main reason why this product didn't work for me. It gives me a medium coverage. I do like the consistency though, which is not too thick and not too thin. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone w/ a yellow undertone.

Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects Night Firming Cream

I got sample of this in the mail, so I thought I give it a try. I normally, don't review a product after 1 or 2 uses, but for this one 2 times was plenty enough to find out that it made my face all irritated the next morning. I have sensitive, acne-prone, combo skin. I don't know what it was, but this nite cream made my face itchy and red in the morning. I tried it once more to make sure it was indeed this cream causing the irritation and it surely was. The packaging reads that this product contains VitaNiacin, wheat protein and hydrator. I may well be allergic to one of these ingredients. If you have similar skin type as me, stay away from this product!

I have this in #323. It is a nice soft shimmery nude color. It goes on sheer when applied and gives me nice shine. Ugly packaging as usual, but nice product with awesome price.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaEyes Cream Eyeshadow-#193 Cafe au Lait [DISCONTINUED]
mulove 2/2/2005 7:35:00 PM
MegaEyes Cafe au Lait is awesome! It looks goldish beigey in the tube and it goes on sheer when applied. I do use this as a eyeshadow base and it works great. I have oily eyelids and I never had problem with creasing. It makes my eyeshadow lasts all day long.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Shadow

I have two of these babies: Cafe au Lait and Platinum Peony. Cafe au Lait is a goldish beigey and Platinum Peony is a pearly metallic pink color. I never use these alone, but always under eyeshadow as a base. I normally use and love UD Primer Potion, but these are quite nice as well. Some people complained about creasing, I have oily eyelids and I've never had this problem with MegaEyes Creme Eyeshadow. I only have two colors so far, but looking forward to collecting them all. I do wish they had more color selections though. UD Primer Potion is hard to find these days b/c of their manufacturing problem, but I'm not worried b/c I have my MegaEyes Creme as my backup. These do compare to highend eyeshadow base in my opinion.

Highlighters -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush in All Over Shimmer - 832D [DISCONTINUED]
mulove 2/2/2005 7:15:00 PM
I don't know why this is called blush b/c it is a highlighter and most of MUAers use it that way including myself. Anyways, like most people I like to thank MUA for recommending this. I just adore this stuff. Besides ugly packaging, do throw that little brush out. It's completely useless. I use my Clinique powder brush to apply this and it works great. Little goes a long way, so be light handed when using this. I rarely use this for daytime, but always use it when I go out at nite. During the day, I like Guerlain - Les Meteorites balls powder, which gives me a subtle glow. All Over Shimmer is truly great in giving fantastic glow to my face.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Liquid Lip Color- #567A, Sheerly Cocoa
mulove 2/2/2005 7:00:00 PM
Sheerly Cocoa is a soft shimmery pinky brown that is nice to be used for everyday color. Nice texture and cosistency. It's a well pigmented liquid lip color, in my opinion. It is heavily scented, so people who are sensitive to certain fragrances, be aware. Personally, the scent doesn't bother me much.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Megaslicks in Strawberry Ice
mulove 2/2/2005 6:51:00 PM
Strawberry Ice is a pearly metallic pink color that goes on quite pigmented than sheer. I find that MegaSlicks, in general, are more of a liquid lipstick than lip gloss in terms of its texture and consistency. I do like this color for the summertime when I get little bit darker. It is heavily scented, but doesn't bother me much.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaSlicks Liquid Lipcolor
mulove 2/2/2005 6:05:00 PM
I have three MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in my collection. I have Bronze Berry, Sheer Cocoa & Strawberry Ice. Bronze Berry was my first purchase and I was pleased with it, so I went out and bought two more. Bronze Berry is quite similar to Chanel Blizzard Glossimer. Sheer Cocoa is nice pinky brown and Strawberry Ice is a pearly pink. I like the texture and the consistency of this lip gloss. Well, I think it's more of a liquid lip color than the lip gloss. The lasting power is okay and personally, the scent doesn't bother me too much. One complaint is that the tube leaks and it can get quite messy. When I store them I have them standing up straight and I think it helps little bit. ****UPDATE: Since last time I've reviewed it, I added two more shades to my collection. I bought #560 Magenta Flash (shimmery pinky raspberry color) & #569 Orange Twist (peachy coral). I love both of these colors. The colors show up pretty well on my lips.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in #568 Bronze Berry
mulove 2/2/2005 5:57:00 PM
I was visiting my parents when I realized I left my Chanel Blizzard Glossimer at my apartment. I ran to closest drugstore for a quick substitution and that's when I came across with MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in Bronzeberry. I mean nothing compares to Chanel Glossimers, but this comes pretty close. Color is nice and quite similar to Chanel Blizzard on my lips. The texture and consistency is okay. Unlike some other reviewers, the scent doesn't bother me too much. One thing I hate is the packaging. I'm not talking about how ugly the tube looks b/c I really don't care much about that, but the tube leaks and it can get quite messy. I have them standing up when I store them and I think it helps little bit.

Lip Liners -Wet 'n' Wild - Creme Lipliner
mulove 2/2/2005 4:36:00 PM
I have 4 of these: 666, 712, 714A & 717. I have a light warm tone skin and 666 looks bronzy brown, 712 looks med orangey brown, 714A is a perfect nude brown and 717 is a cool red color. I think 717 is my least favorite color just b/c it is bit too cool tone for me. The quality of this lipliner is very nice. There's no pulling, tugging or crumbling. Good alternative to highend lipliners.

Lip Liners -Wet 'n' Wild - Liner #714A

#714 is a nice nude brown color, which goes perfectly with many of the neutral shade lip colors. No pulling or crumbling. Good quality lipliner for under a buck.
