Works well and is very cheap. However, the amount of sheets I have to use to soak up my oil factory of a face make me wonder if this is as cheap as I'd like to believe. Also, the packaging is horrific -- take out too many and you're basically smashing them back in messily. I'd repurchase, but try other brands as well.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black

This is a very nice mascara that makes my absolutely average eyelashes very thick and black, but with a natural look. However, Maybelline Full and Soft just edges this out as my favorite because it does all that AND leaves me with soft lashes. However, I recommend that anyone looking for a lush natural look try this, and I would repurchase for myself in a pinch.

Does a good job of softly defining my 4a curls and kinks. However, it's really greasy, so a little goes a very long way. I can define my hair the same way with $1.00 Ampro clear gel without the greasiness, so I will use this up and not repurchase.

These and the thick elastics are interchangeable for me, except that the thin ones stretch out a little easier. I have them scattered everywhere in my home. I have and will continue to repurchase.

Oh, I only have a zillion or so of these around my home. Great for afro puffs and ponies.They don't snap, they just stretch, which is good when I want more puff than pony in my 'fro. I have and will rebuy again and again.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Tough as Taupe

So I gave in to the Color Tattoo craze and picked this up a while back, despite my reservations about it being taupey gray, and matte, and a cream shadow. At first, I was applying this with my Ecotools and ELF eyeshadow brushes, but they picked up too much product. I was basically spackling this onto my lids and it didn't look good alone. On the verge to relegating this to a base (and three lippies), I tried applying this with my fingers. Oh. WOW! So that's what I needed to do! My finger was the perfect instrument to turn this cement-colored spackle into a lovely, flattering wash. On my brown skin, it leans more gray than brown or taupe. It looks great and gives my taupe and gray shadows depth. I'm glad I decided to experiment with this and would rebuy again if needed.

Consistency is a teeny bit weird to me, and the packaging sucks, but the color and price is absolutely fabulous! Bright, bright color that brings such a POP to my whole face! Good to layer under NYX African Queen to add a little depth.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment

I bought several of these trios on sale. This was one of the ones I swapped away. Why? Well....it just wasn't one of my favorites. The colors were pigmented and buttery, as expected with WNW, but just not for me. I have similar shades to the crease and lid, and this trio was getting no love. Plus, the crease shade is a little hard to work with. It still deserves a 4 for its general goodness, but I will not repurchase.

Consistency and staying power are the same as all the other Color Tattoos; however, this color is not for me. It's very close to the color of my eyelids, so it just looks like a shimmery mess.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Pomegranate Punk

This shadow is a very lovely cranberry color with gold shimmer. I thought that it would pop more on my skin, but it actually shows up as a very lovely neutral pink on my caramel skin tone. This color is analagous to the lid color in the Wet 'n' Wild ColorIcon Trio in Knock on Wood. In fact, Pomegranate Punk is a good base for these shadows. I prefer to use this alone to enjoy the subtle gold shimmer. With this shadow, I can create a "one-and-done" look: Pomegranate Punk on the lid and blended up into the crease (or eye socket area, I don't have a defined crease), black liner, mascara, and done. It's so pretty. Staying power is as advertised, even without primer.

I have this in my purse from time as a hand lotion. I like the smell, it's not overpowering at all. It absorbs quickly and moisturizes well. I have and will definitely buy the trial size for my purse again, and maybe I'll try it on my body someday.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Mascara

Pretty good stuff. I was looking for a lengthening mascara to layer with my Clinique High Impact. This was cheap, and I like Wet n Wild's eyeshadows (a lot), so I decided to try this. The wand is hard plastic with small spikes. It sucks. Basically, it serves to get the product on the lashes and that's it. Even worse, if you miscalculate and scrape your eyelid or (God forbid!) your eye with this, it will hurt. A lot. The real winner here is the formula, especially when layering. After putting this on my lashes, I apply my thickening mascara, and I get the best of both worlds. When I apply Mega Length and follow up with Maybelline the Falsies, THEN will I get a lash look approaching falsies! It's a good mascara to have in your arsenal for layering, if you already have thick lashes, or if you have a surgeon's skill around the eyes.

Bath Treatments -Avon - Skin So Soft Bath Oil

I was one of those Southern kids slathered in this by my mom and grandma everytime I went outside! It definitely works for that purpose. It's also good for baths and after baths. I don't use it much these days, but I currently have a small spray bottle in my possession. It seems like it's one of those things I should just have around, even it just for nostalgia.

Polishes -Sinful - Dream On

Absolutely fabulous pedicure color! One coat was streaky, but two coats was opaque. It's a neon, so it dries matte. (FYI, all neons dry matte) It's nothing that a shiny top coat won't fix. I used one coat of Nail Life Gripper, two coats Dream On, one coat Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Flawless (clear), and one coat Diamond Dry. This combination lasted over a week on my toes!

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush - Mellow Wine 833D

Lovely light neutral blush that looks good with whatever look you want to put together. Very pigmented, so it shows up on my caramel skin. I love to use this blush when I go bold on the eyes or lips, or when I am doing a barely-there look.
