Cleansers -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser- New

I'm not sure how this product does on controlling acne since that's not what I use it for. However, for controling oiliness - WOW. After I wash my face with this, it feels like oil has never touched my skin! It is actually a bit drying, but that's not surprising since it really just eats through the oil. Even my hands after using it feel funny - no moisture in them, either, lol! It comes in a squeeze tube, and claims that it is foaming, but mine never does. It's more like a cream cleanser that I just use to wash my face. Now, after reading other reviews, I might have to try it to see how it does on acne. For the time being, I've just been using it on my nose & forehead - where the skin is oily but not really prone to breakouts (weird, I know). But overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone with oily skin!
I have a mix of oily and slightly dry skin w/ some problems with acne every now and then. No, I'm not a teenager, either! Anyway, this works pretty well IMO and lasts quite a while, too. It can be a bit drying, but followed by an oil-free moisturizer, it doesn't bother me. Costs around $5 USD or so IIRC.
I loove this body wash! It has been my HG for sooo long, although it's kinda on the backburner as I experiment with other body washes - just for fun, mind you! I love the creamy, smooth texture of this body wash, and the little moisturizing beads are so neat. I love the smell, too! This is really gentle and great at leaving my skin soft and great-smelling. I would definitely recommend! Costs about $5 USD I think. :)
These give a sheer hint of color with some moisturizing, and unlike Almay's tints, the stuff actually swivels back down into the tube. Yay! These are pretty small, but just right for pockets or purses. Costs $3.50 USD - so you know you can't beat the price!
These are OK - neat in theory in that you get a balm with SPF & sheer color. It gives you all that, but it's not terribly moisturizing, and the fact that the darn balm won't swivel back down into the tube is SO annoying. These are pretty small, too. I have 3 of these I think, but wouldn't buy any more. Costs around $4-5 USD if I remember correctly.
I cannot do a red lip. I look like a freak! However, after seeing a friend wearing this gloss and seeing how pretty her lips looked, I had to try it. Thankfully, I was pleased! Even though this looks like a sparkly red in the tube, it goes on pretty sheer and sparkly. It is subtle enough that even I, the can't-wear-red-lip-freak, can pull it off. It's not too sticky or gritty, and the price can't be beat.
Mascara -Revlon - Colorstay lash tint [DISCONTINUED]

Ya know, if you want a natural lash look & hate putting on mascara, this is the stuff for you. It really does stay on for three days and then just...magically disappears. Voila! However, when I use mascara, I want my lashes to look different. Otherwise, why would I use mascara? :D So, this is not something I would use ever again, although it would be convenient to put on before leaving on a weekend trip since it would last the whole time! The tube is neat, kinda rubbery feeling and smooth, but alas, still not enough for me to buy this again.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - WetSlicks Lip Gloss (general)

I have a couple of these and am quite pleased! I love the vanilla-ish smell and the texture. It's not sticky at all, really, for a gloss and gives me a nice shine w/ color for the more pigmented gloss I have. Try these glosses out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! Cost about $5.50 USD.
Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - MoistureShine gloss in Coy

Yes, it's an electric purple in the tube. Yes, you see it and think, "Who on Earth would wear that?!" Well, you will, my friend. You will. This gives you high shine and just a *hint* of purple without much stickiness; although, being a gloss, it does have a bit o' sticky. I also really like Groove in these glosses. The square tube for this wanded gloss is cool, too. For about $6.50 USD, this is a nice, fun gloss to have.
Ah, good ole 2000 Calorie Mascara. This was my HG for so long! I still like it, although I haven't used it in quite a while. I just moved on to other mascaras since I'm fickle that way. ;) Anyway, this gives nice, thick lashes but maybe not the longest IIRC. Really a pretty nice mascara, so I would recommend it!
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Lotion

I really like this smell, which is kinda funny, because at first I wasn't thrilled with it. It's one of those scents that kind of grow on you. Like the name, it's a warm vanilla scent with maybe a hint of brown sugar thrown in. The lotion itself is pretty much the same as all other BBW lotions. Nice fairly thick consistency that works pretty well. Nothing outstanding but not horrible, either. I like using this in the hand soap form, too, 'cause it leaves my hands smelling so nice and yummy! :)
I received this in the 0.16 fl oz size in a swap. Wow! It smells soooo good! A nice, sweet vanilla. The spray tube is cute, too, small and clear with a black cap and sprayer. Thanks to the great MUAer who passed this my way!! :)
Wee - a nude lip at a super cheap price! Who can argue with that? This looks like a milky nude in the tube, and that's pretty much what it looks like on my lips. Gives my lips a bit of shine and isn't very sticky at all. I like the smell, too. Costs about $3 USD!
Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - Moistureshine Lipgloss in Groove [DISCONTINUED]

I love Groove! If I put on one coat, it's a shiny, slightly pink gloss..if I add a bit more, the pink comes out a bit more. It looks bubblegum pink in the tube but is really pretty sheer on the lips (unless you do the more than one coat thing I've already covered, lol). The square tube is neat, too - no rolling off the counter! This gloss is a *bit* sticky but not bad. Costs about $6.50 USD.
Lip Treatments -mark - Kiss Therapy Super Soothing Lip Balm [DISCONTINUED]
melzie_fire 5/26/2004 12:51:00 AM
This is a good balm. I think this is mark's version of the popular Rosebud Salve. I like the consistency & the smell of roses, it's not overwhelming. It immediately felt soothing on my lips, which are very often chapped. :( I gave it 4 lippies just 'cause it doesn't give me the tingly feeling I crave (and get from my HG Carmex!) but really, when I don't "need" that tingly feeling, this is great stuff. The tin is really cute, too. Costs $4 USD.
