I love this perfume and am now obsessed with this body crème. It is incredibly luxurious and moisturizing, unlike many of the lotions that are part of a perfume collection. It is crazy expensive, but I guess we all have to spoil ourselves sometime, right?

Styling Products -Sebastian - Shaper Mega Hold Hair Spray [DISCONTINUED]

This is my favorite hairspray, I’ve been using it for a while and really like everything about it. Great hold, but not too stiff or crunchy. I use it as a mist to set my hair and the style holds all day without flakes. I definitely recommend this to everyone. I know it’s pricey, but totally worth it.

Hair -L'Oreal - Elnett Hairspray

This is a nice hairspray, but with all the hype I did expect a lot and it did not deliver anything out of this world. The mist is really fine and the hold is good too, but nothing extraordinary. I like that it does not leave white flakes, unless you really overdo it. The thing that I dislike about it is the smell - it’s unpleasant, even for hairspray. Oh, and it is overpriced. I wonder if the American version is significantly different from the original one, because otherwise I don’t understand that story about someone shipping cases of this stuff into the country, why bother if there is Sebastian and a bunch of other good products out there.

Treatments -Biore - Pore Cleansing Strips - Nose

These are pretty effective, every time I use them they do get some blackheads out. They won’t pull out every single blackhead you have after one use, but if you use them once or twice a week for a month or so, you will definitely see improvement. I recommend using these after you do some kind of exfoliating/oil absorbing mask, you will get better results, more blackheads will be pulled out. What I don’t like is that they are kinda painful, but I’m especially bothered by the size. I really wish they were bigger, I don’t think I have a very big nose, but these strips just barely cover the sides of my nose, and do not reach the area around my nose. What I do is buy the face strips cut them in half and use them on the area around my nose, under my eyes and that works ok, I just wish I didn’t have to do that and the one strip would be big enough to cover all that. But still a good product overall.

Lotions/ Creams -Yes To Carrots - Hand and Elbow Moisturizing Cream

This is a nice cream. I use it mostly for my hands and I think it moisturizes really well. I like that it does absorb pretty quickly and softens my hands immediately and then the moisture lasts, even after you wash your hands. It’s a pretty good value since the tube is larger than the average hand cream. The one issue is that it can get kinda waxy when I put a lot on, which is too bad, since at night I really like to slather my hands with cream.

Bronzers -NARS - Orgasm-Laguna Blush-Bronzer Duo

What a great combination this is – I love it! I, like pretty much everyone else, have always liked the orgasm blush, and this time when I ran out I decided to get this duo instead of just the blush. Laguna looks kinda dark in the packaging, but when I put it on it gives me a really nice glow, definitely not too much. I would recommend this to everyone, it’s a bargain considering how much you would have to pay to buy these separately.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Blush Brush

This is a great brush, it's perfect for the highly pigmented Nars blushes. It picks up enough color for a subtle look and then lets you build up. I generally really like all the eco tools brushes, i have most of them and am very pleased. Surprised that sinthetic brushes from the drugstore can be of such high quality. Thanks to all of you for the rave reviews and always pointing me in the right direction :)

Nails -Seche Vite - Seche Restore

I do definitely think that this is the best thinner to use with seche vite top coat (and you will certainly need to thin it out, it gets thick very quickly), I’ve tried others and they did not work as well. However, the reason I really like this stuff is because it will bring back to life really old nail polishes that looked like they were lost forever. I recently found a Dior polish, that I remembered being really wonderful purple color and it was completely dried out and separated – it must be at least 10 years old. I decided to try restore just to test it out, without any real hopes of salvaging the color, but with a few pipette fulls of restore it was back. This stuff is great! I filled up the pipette, that comes with it, and added all of its contents to the polish and then shook and rolled it for a minute - polish was still kinda dry, but already much better. I added another full pipette and repeated with the shaking and the polish was perfect. I applied it and I think the color looks the way I remembered it.

Polishes -Revlon - Steel-her Heart

Really nice dark silver polish. Application is pretty easy and for a metallic it is not streaky at all, which is great since I absolutely hate streaks. I was also surprised by how good the wear was, went for about 5 days without any chips. It’s a interesting color without being ridiculous.

Hair -Kiehls - Intensive Repairateur Deep Conditioning Pak

First off I really hate the smell, it’s gross and weird, I’m not really sure what to compare it to, it’s kinda like medicine maybe. The texture was nice and thick, and it didn’t drip when I got out of the shower. I left it on for about 45 minutes. It moisturized a bit, but nothing special. I don’t think it’s worth it, I’ve used up the whole tube, doing the treatment 2x a week, and my hair is not much different, the dry ends are pretty much the same.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HIP Pure Pigment Shadow Stick

This is not such a bad product at all. I actually like it. First, DO NOT TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC wrapping you should just sharpen the pencil with it on, it sharpens very easily, I don’t think it’s meant to be taken off. Also, after you sharpen it, rub the tip on the back of your hand, to get rid of the loose pieces.And, use the FAT SHARPENER, not the thin one, that made it crumble. I don’t have much trouble applying it after this. For a subtle shimmer I use it dry, but for intense color I wet it. Staying power is ok, like 6-8 hours. The dark color (majestic, a plumy brown) I bought worked nicely to create a smokey eye look. I also got exquisite, which is a nude shimmer, and I use it for a day eye, and as a highlighter on my cheekbones.

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion

This is a good basic moisturizer, nothing fancy. I only use it at night and it can be kinda greasy, but I don’t mind that at night. I especially like it, because it doesn’t interact with any of the retinol or treatment serums that I use at night, so I put this on top for extra moisture, after the other stuff absorbs. I have been using it for years and never had any issues. I like to buy the extra huge bottle at Costco, I always use it all up before it goes bad, because sometimes I use this as a body lotion too and it works pretty nicely that way too.

Eyeliner -BeneFit Cosmetics - Eye Bright

This does help cover up the dark circles around my eyes and is a perfect color for brightening your eye by putting it on the inner rim. BUT, it always creases and gets into the little lines I have under my eyes. This really bugs me, because when I use just my concealer none of that happens, but only with this stuff under it. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Lotions/ Creams -Queen Helene - Organic Fair Trade Certified Cocoa Butter Lotion

Oh my god, this was really bad. I was surprised since I’ve used the regular queen helene coco butter lotion and I thought it was ok, and expected this to be better since it was organic and more expensive (forgot exact price, like $10). I’ve only used it once on my body, and it was horrible – it did not absorb well and it kinda BURNED for a minute after I applied it. I was about to get out of bed and take another shower when it subsided. But it really surprised me, since I don’t really have sensitive skin. Now the SMELL, it’s super strong, way more intense than the regular lotion and it stays on forever. When I woke up in the morning I could still smell it. This stuff sucks.
