Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Love Spell

I got a nice deal on some Love Spell products at VS Beauty - for $20, I received a body wash, body lotion, body spray, and small perfume. The smell of Love Spell is verrrryyy fruity. I can detect hints of blackberry and citrus and maybe some freesia?! For total lasting power, I recommend going for a multiple product deal and layering for a longer-lasting scent. It is very strong at first but then settles down and fades away sooner than you would think. It's a very nice smell though and a great sugary sweet pick-me-up scent. EDIT (1/08) - I actually have not worn this more than a few times now....Love Spell makes me naseous....I don't think a grown woman should wear this, it is so synthetic smelling. I much prefer something like BS Fantasy to this!

Conditioner -Garnier - FRUCTIS conditioner

A very ordinary conditioner that lightly moisturizes hair while leaving it smelling nicely of fruit! This is a fairly ordinary conditioner although I do love the smell (the main reason I bought it)! Although it says in the ads that hair will be noticably shinier and stronger....I notice absolutely no change at all in my hair. So...if you want a conditioner that just moisturizes hair lightly and smells good, this isn't necessarily a bad choice. However, if you like to see a positive change in your hair after buying a new conditioner like I do, invest in something else.

A very ordinary shampoo that cleanses hair of dirt and oil while leaving it smelling nicely of fruit! This is an okay shampoo although I do love the smell (the main reason I bought it)! Although it says in the ads that hair will be noticably shinier and stronger....I notice absolutely no change at all in my hair. So...if you want a shampoo that just cleanses hair and smells good, this isn't necessarily a bad choice. HOwever, if you like to see a positive change in your hair after buying a new shampoo like I do, invest in something else.

First of all I would like to say...."Thank you MUAers with all my heart and soul! I have finally found a product that will balance and soothe my horrible skin!" I have sensitive/extremely dry/oily t-zone skin that I have struggled with all my life. I also have patches of eczema on my cheeks (for those who don't know what that looks like I have bumpy red dry cheeks that are very easily inflamed and hard to cover with foundation). Anyways....thanks to this little gift from God, I have been able to soothe and almost "cure" my eczema. My skin is now more even-toned, smooth, and glowing now that I have been using this product for a few weeks. It also doesn't break my out at all!!! This is a great product and I know quality when I see it. This is a good investment I highly recommend it especially for us sensitive/dry/eczema types!

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Lip Gunk in Paranoid

I received Urban Decay Lip Gunk in Paranoid in a mini lip gunk set as a gift which included Hotpants, Litter, Asphyxia, Tart and Paranoid. Paranoid is very basic - unlike most of the UD lipgunks which are more flashy and exoctic with loads of sparkles and shimmer. This looks like milk chocolate in the tube and is described as a "creamy neutral warm brown with a honeycomb scent." It goes on looking fairly the same as it does in the tube. I probably wouldn't buy this again because it's rather plain but might be great for the minimalist.

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Lip Gunk in Tart

I received Urban Decay Lip Gunk in Tart in a mini lip gunk set as a gift which included Hotpants, Litter, Asphyxia, Tart and Paranoid. Tart is a beautiful red color with gold glitter that looks insanely scary in the tube (as most UD lipgunks do) but applies to make lips juicy, bitten and making you look like a sex-kitten. Sometimes when I think this looks too intense for day, I apply and then blot with a tissue yet the beautiful red color remains but subtly. I love this!!

I received Urban Decay Lip Gunk in Asphyxia in a mini lip gunk set as a gift which included Hotpants, Litter, Asphyxia, Tart and Paranoid. I love Hotpants!!! It gives the perfect "your lips but better look." Ahhhh!!! I cannot get over how beautiful this makes my lips look because the pinkish red color just gives the perfect amount of color and shine. Hotpants also has touches of silver and gold glitter along with the pink and purple glimmers and shimmers. I also love UD lip gunk because it lasts forever (seriously this is the longest lasting lipgloss I have ever found). I can't wait to buy the large tube!!!

I received Urban Decay Lip Gunk in Asphyxia in a mini lip gunk set as a gift which included Hotpants, Litter, Tart and Paranoid. ALthough Asphyxia is not my favorite of the bunch, it looks rather pretty on lips while standing out and definitely drawing attention towards them. Asphyxia appears to be a fushia color with white, pink, and purple glitter but when applied the fushia looks a bit more sheer and settles to a pretty transparent color guaranteed to make lips look lusciously pink and perfect.

I love this fragrance so much I think that I would cry if I were ever without it! It smells so clean and fresh....yet very unidentifiable like the other reviewers said! It is fairly inexpensive (about 15 dollars for a decent sized bottle and around 35 for a large bottle which I need!). The only complaint I have about this is that it doesn't last long. Every now and then throughout the day I'll smell whiffs of it and it just makes me happy :) it's like a comfort fragrance for me. This fragrance is also perfect for day because of its light and fresh notes - I always get many compliments from people when I wear this! This is a nice perfume for people who like to smell good but hate the "strong perfumey scent" or detest body spray. I <3 this so much!!!

Shampoo -Pantene - Smooth and Sleek shampoo

Hmmmm okay.....the Pantene Smooth and Sleek line is a good line. I admit it, I was very anxious to hair soft, sleek, smooth beautiful hair like I saw in the tv and magazine ads. The shampoo smells very nice, cleanses well, and does an overall nice job of keeping hair smooth. The conditioner is also very nice....however....after awhile it just didn't seem to be working anymore. My hair became duller, more lifeless, more flat, less shiny, it just wasn't the way it used to be. I dk, maybe there is some ingredient in the Smooth and Sleek line that affects hair while making it dull. I immediately switched shampoos and my hair was back to normal. So, make the decision for yourself. It's not a bad shampoo just I don't think it's like normal shampoo.

Conditioner -Mary Kate and Ashley - Replenishing Conditioner

I honestly do not notice anything special about my hair after using this. I guess it's good for balancing normal hair like the hydrating shampoo, but IMO the hydrating shampoo is better than this. This kind of smells like bananas and sunscreen and is very thick - also kind of hard to squeeze out of the bottle. You can find better and cheaper conditioners than this but it's OK - not horrible and not great.

This is a nice shampoo and sooo cheap that you just can't go wrong buying it. The smell is just divine - like coconuts (very similar to Suave coconut). It does no miraculous job of hydrating - so don't expect to emerge from the shower and a little while later have soft luxuriously silky hair. I think this is a good shampoo for balancing normal hair and this is not good for you if you hair is super dry. It's a nice shampoo, smells great, and leaves hair manegable.

Mascara -Mary Kate and Ashley - Illuminating Mascara

This mascara is pretty cheap I have to admit. It slightly defines lashes but adds no volume or length whatsoever. This mascara would be at least "decent" in my opinion if it didn't flake so much. I put it on in the morning and by the time I come home I look like a racoon - seriously BLACK RINGS under my eyes. SOOooo gross! Save yourself and don't buy cheap MKA mascara!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Makes my hair smooth and shiny and frizz free Cons: Insanely expensive ($20 for a small bottle)and smells HORRIBLE which is sometimes hard to bear. Overall, this product is nice if you are looking to smooth frizzies and quench thirsty hair.
