This was too thick and oily for my hair I think. It left a layer and didnt really help with my frizzies either. I also wasnt a huge fan of the smell.
Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Glycolic Foaming Cleanser

I am on my third bottle of this. It actually works to soften and smooth and even help with acne on my oily acne prone skin. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin I dont know that you could use this daily, but oily skin you could probably use it once per day. Doesnt have an obnoxious smell. I would recommend using SPF with any AHA or BHA products.
This is probably the gentlest acne cleanser Ive ever tried. It is a nice basic cleanser but doesnt do a thing for removing makeup or keeping my skin under control. No unpleasant smell. I use it in the am in the shower.
This was too drying for my face and didnt really help with my acne either so I now use it for my shoulders/back til it runs out.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clinique - Makeup Brush Cleanser

I love the fact that this is a spray. I dont see how you dont use water with this though...I always rinse with water. It is a good cleanser but wont get out the more stubborn stains from light bristles. For that you could use an oil (DHC, Fancl, Mac, etc). I wish it were more easily accessible for me to buy, but I tend to keep the bottle and filled Mac's brush cleanser into it and it is great.
I am probably on my fifth bottle of this- and I have tried many (head and shoulders, garnier, selsun, neutrogena t gel, loreal, etc) that have either not worked at all or worked minimally. Nizoral does dry my hair out so I would recommend a good conditioner and dont overdo it. When I have bad issues (they crop up every now and then, Im not sure why) I use it every other time I wash my hair but when Im not having issues I use it maybe once a month. It takes about three times of washing my hair with it to get rid of all problems but they are alleviated after the first use.

I really like this stuff! Non-oily, no discernible smell, takes off all my eye makeup and leaves no residue. I would recommend only pumping out half onto one cotton round because you dont need one whole pump, its too much.
I love this color on me - as another reviewer mentioned, its a touch darker than MLBB and it is the perfect every day work color I was going for. I understand why it is in a pot, since it is a thicker gloss and is meant to stay on longer than regular lip gloss (which it does) but I hate having to carry a lip brush if I want to reapply it so I end up just applying in the morning and taking an easier tube with me for touch ups. It doesnt have a strong taste or smell, so that doesnt bother me.
Moisturizers -Christian Dior - Skin perfect pore refining moisturizer

This is a good moisturizer for combination to oily skin. It smells great, it goes on smoothly, it goes on matte, and creates a smooth canvas for your makeup. That being said, I think it is overpriced because it did not help with my oiliness during the day at all, nor did I think it made my pores look any smaller. So it did not live up to its claim which is why it isnt worth the price to me.
This is my favorite mask of all time so I hate how difficult this is to get. I have to go to the store every month if I want to get a pot of this, and it doesnt last very long (I think they said 2 weeks in the fridge?) and the last time I went to the mall just for this and they didnt even have any! They were out :( And the cost per use is pretty high too I think. *sigh* But for my oily acne prone skin it is fantastic - it is one of the FEW masks that does not sting my face. It leaves my skin feeling sooo smooth, I love it.
This does leave my hair shiny and smells like lemon. But the consistency is too thin for my taste- I have to use waaaay too much of it each time and it is too expensive for that. I like my conditioner to coat my hair so I dont feel like Im wasting it down the drain and so I know which part of my hair is already coated! So basically, while it smells okay and leaves hair shiny, it isnt moisturizing enough for me and it goes way too quickly due to the thin consistency.
This did NOT work well for me- every single time I used it my scalp dried out tremendously and I had an itchy scalp for a week. I have long wavy-ish hair. It doesnt really clean the first time around or lather well, I found that you have to really wet your hair, work this into your hair and scalp, rinse, then work more of it into your hair and then it foams up nicely. It does leave hair squeaky clean and it did look more voluminous but it was very dry and stiff and almost tacky. I would maybe recommend this for short oily hair.
Skincare - Face -Johnson & Johnson - Purpose Cleanser

I have oily acne prone skin; while this cleanser does not break me out, I do not see it helping with my acne issues either. I prefer this for the summer time and cetaphil or purity made simple in the winter because this does dry my face a bit more than those other two. It lathers very well and has a mild scent. Maybe my eyes are sensitive because it says that it isnt supposed to sting your eyes but if I get it into my eyes it certainly does sting. I do not find that it is sufficient to take off all my makeup, so I always use TTDO balm beforehand or a remover wipe if I am wearing makeup. It is a nice inexpensive alternative to use that I switch out with my other cleansers in the spring/summer.
Lip Treatments -Caudalie - Grapeseed Lip Conditioner
lunalove 4/9/2012 11:24:00 AM
I like this lip balm and always have a backup because it is moisturizing and non sticky. It goes on smoothly and does not have an offensive or strong smell/taste and is 99.5% natural (according to the company). I have had very good luck with grapeseed oil products, so this may be part of why I like it. The tube is sanitary (like a lipstick) and made of plastic. I tend to use one stick up every 6 months, with daily application. I think this is about $12 at sephora.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

I am on my second tube of this (the first one was purchased and used up years ago, so I thought Id retry) and I am not going to repurchase. While it is a nice lip balm that does leave my lips soft and it isnt sticky and it is colorless, it just doesnt last long enough on me. I have to reapply this literally every hour, which is just too much hassle when I have other balms that are cheaper and work well that last longer. The tube is very nice and heavy, it screws in. Also, be aware that this will MELT badly if you leave it in a hot area or direct sunlight.
