This is a great powder fdtn. I prefer EL DW powder fdtn over this one, but this is almost as good. It has great coverage with the sponge, and goes on quite smoothly when I use moisturizer.
Powder -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Makeup

My favorite powder foundation. Unlike some reviewers, I found the powder and liquid foundation in shell to be a good match. This goes on my oily skin very smoothly, has great coverage, and lasts. I sometimes use it lightly with a fluffy brush with my liquid DW, other times with a sponge by itself - looks great either way. I have flaking sometimes that goes along with bp and retin-a, but as long as I use moisturizer, this still works great.
One of my favorite foundations. Great color match for my fair skin (shell), and great coverage that lasts without being cakey, or clinging to or emphasizing dry patches. I don't always want this much coverage but when I do or I want my makeup to last, this is the one I reach for.
After trying many mineral foundations, this is my favorite. You can adjust the color, which at first I thought would be too much trouble but it's not difficult at all. The coverage is perfect and it's long lasting. Also excellent customer service. I have already repurchased. I use several different foundations, but this is definitely the best.
The brush is too big to get at small lashes without poking yourself in the eye - made a mess and I threw it away.
Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Mauve Face Palette Fall 2008

Gorgeous colors for fall. Classy and elegant. *Update* I ended up swapping it - I still think it's very pretty, but the colors were a bit dark for me (pale blue-eyed blond), particularly the lip glosses.
I had this up for swap for awhile, because I started using retin-a. I found the retin-a too drying to use every night, so I decided to alternate it with this. I also use it sometimes in the daytime, and it helps keeps my skin clear without drying it out. Great product for a great price.
My experience is the same as Zedar's - on my pale skin, it really was not flattering at all. I'm very fair with blond hair and blue eyes, and this just washed me out. Doesn't work as a highlighter or a blush for me, just looks pretty much the same as it does in the pan - a touch of beige across my cheek. While a really bright blush makes me appear feverish, this one is just too blah.
I love vanilla in perfumes, and expected to love this. It reminds me of Vaniglia del Madagascar and Ligne St. Barth - vanilla with caramel. It's very sweet and kind of foody - great, but not outstanding enough to justify the price imho.
I have pale blond hair and pale blond eyebrows to match. Most eyebrow pencils/powders/gels are too dark, even the ones that are for blondes - they're usually more taupe. This color is actually blond, but my eyebrows actually show up while looking natural. The best for pale/platinum blonds!
I received a decant of this in a swap. I had almost given up on lilac fragrances and decided as much as I love the smell of lilacs, they smell much better in nature than on me. This smells more like the lilacs that were in my backyard than En Passant - perhaps not 100 percent true lilac but the perfect lilac perfume!
Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Garden of Stars Violet Eau de Parfum

I agree with the reviews that say this is like a softer, prettier version of Angel with violet, but I don't particularly care for Angel (okay I hate it). I love violet anyway, but this definitely smells like a Theierry Mugler type violet.
Got this through swapping, and so glad I did! Sweet, feminine and lovely.

Beautiful floral vanilla - I didn't expect to like it this much because of the reviews, but it's a wonderful non-foody vanilla - lovely.

I tried this several years ago, and though I used the whole jar, it was a bit heavy for me.
