Eye Makeup Remover -Rimmel - Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

Didn't work for me at all. Not as gentle as the names suggests, either.

Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Dual Phase Eye Makeup Remover
lipstik 12/8/2006 1:52:00 AM
This worked OK only because of all the OIL that must be in this product! While it removed all traces of waterproof mascara, I was left blurry-eyed all evening and into the next morning. TOO GREASY!!! (Note: My bottle was blue, not pink.)

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
lipstik 12/8/2006 1:47:00 AM
Great waterproof eye makeup remover. Comparable in quality to Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover. Inexpensive compared to other dept store brands. Removes all traces of waterproof eye makeup without tugging (Lancome's BiFacil doesn't always get everything). Good for sensitive eyes. May be a little oily-feeling while using but does not leave an oily residue afterwards. I've used other waterproof eye makeup removers in the past and most have left my eyes blurry until the next morning!

Powder -Prescriptives - AnyWear Multi-finish compact foundation
lipstik 8/22/2006 2:29:00 AM
Wow!!! I never thought I'd find something I'd love as much as my NARS Powder Foundation (and that is saying a lot!). I have tried just about every powder foundation ever made ever since Prescriptives made the perfect, silky powder foundation in a compact called Quick Cover (I think) many years ago and then discontinued it I guess because no one was into quick and easy powder foundations at the time (this is before Studio Fix became so wildly popular) and the whole liquid foundation + powder to set regimen was just getting into gear. Prescriptives really does make the best foundations ever and they were the first ones to figure out that everyone has different undertones (some of us more olive/yellow than others!) and I used their custom blend for years until I got over the whole liquid foundation + powder to set thing. I saw the new AnyWear at the Px counter and just had to try it. It has the same smooth consistency like the Nars, which I love, but the compact is smaller and more convenient for a makeup bag. Nice-looking little compact, too. Also, I'd rather pay $32.50 for this than $45 for the Nars if they both do the job well. They both have SPF 12 and they both come with an applicator sponge in a separate compartment, but I prefer using a flat buffer brush to apply. I bought the CHAMPAGNE 04 shade (FYI: it looks way too light in the compact but the shade is perfect on my skin -- listen to those Prescriptives experts! They really know what they are doing!) and I am a Nars Fiji/Mac C30 for reference. I will definitely buy this again.

Irresistably cute! I bought this one for my cousin and I bought the Natural Beige one for myself just because it was such a friggin' cute little pink compact! I'm hooked on Baby Pink!

Lip Gloss -Baby Pink - Lipgloss in Pearl

Irresistably cute! Shiny, slightly gritty but not annoying (like those shard-filled glossimers!) lipglass-type-gloss.

Lips -Baby Pink - Clear

Irresistably cute! I just had to get it even though I have a million lipglosses! Pretty good clear liplass-type gloss. The best part is that is has no scent or taste!

Concealers -Baby Pink - Stick Concealer in Natural Beige
lipstik 5/28/2006 12:28:00 AM
This is packaged in the white plastic lipbalm-type tube (think skinny chap stick). The concealer itself seems comparable to Lola's stick concealer, which I love. Unfortunately, the color is too pink for me which is surprising for an asian cosmetic product. I bought this from a japanese market in the US for around $7.

Skincare - Face -Kinerase - Kinerase C6 Peptide Intensive Treatment
lipstik 5/7/2006 4:29:00 AM
UPDATE 5/20/06: I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I LOVE it. I purchased the full-size (1 oz. bottle) today for $96 at Nordstrom. 5/7/06: I got a deluxe sample of this and I am using it with the cream. Doesn't seem to bother my sensitive skin and it makes my skin feel nice, but I think the cream can do that by itself. Packaging is simple but made of glass. Not sure if I would purchase, I'll have to wait until I finish the sample to decide.

Treatments (Eye) -Kinerase - Under Eye Rescue
lipstik 5/7/2006 4:21:00 AM
I've been looking for the perfect eye cream to combat under-eye puffiness and dark circles and this is the one! It also prevents fine lines and wrinkles, brightens the eye area and feels like SILK! Best of all, it comes in a tube so it is sanitary and hassle-free. AND, you can use it both day and night. Simple, basic, no-frills packaging. I love it! $75 at Sephora. I took off one lippie because this tends to irritate my eyes upon application but the "sting" doesn't last long.

Moisturizers -Kinerase - Kinerase Cream
lipstik 5/7/2006 4:16:00 AM
5/7/06: I just came back from out of town and I swear I had at least two huge bags full of cosmetics and skincare items so I decided to pare down everything and stick to just ONE moisturizer, one cleanser, one eye cream and one toner as my skincare regimen, not fifteen. I love the way La Mer makes my skin feel but I really wanted to use something that would multi-task and prevent lines. I've used kinetin products in the past so I decided to try Kinerase. It is really great on my sensitive skin and makes my skin feel like silk. I want to see what it does for this one pesky little dark spot!

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer

This and the moisturizing lotion are my HG moisturizers. For those of you who think that it is too greasy, you really have to warm the product between your fingers in order to emulsify it. Results are baby-soft, smooth skin.

Shampoo -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Shampoo
lipstik 2/27/2006 5:02:00 AM
Love this shampoo! Smells fabulous and leaves my hair super-silky. I have long, straight, normal hair, but I have lots of it, so I bought the balancing shampoo and conditioner but I'm also alternating with the nourishing conditioner. I only use conditioner from my neck down. My husband loves this!

OMG! I can't believe how long this fragrance lasts! I smelled my jacket sleeve that was sprayed a couple of days ago (see below) and it still smells great! My husband LOVED this on me. I'm buying a bottle of this tomorrow!
