I never thought I would attempt a brown polish, but this is such a rich shade that I couldn't resist. The color itself is a cool brown with subtle golden flecks that add depth. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you only need two coats to reach the bottle color. As this is part of Chanel's Holiday 2008 collection and possibly not a permanent addition, I will defintely buy a back-up bottle.

I have color-treated hair and was looking forward to this product. However, a single use left my hair feeling coated and weighed down. I would not repurchase.

I really like this color but the formula renders it almost unwearable. In addition to the chunky glitter particles, the thin texture lends itself to excessive smearing and migration. It takes a lip brush to ensure that it's evenly applied and stays in place.

Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Eyelash Curler

This review is for SK's metal curler, which is pretty average. While it's better than no curler at all, it definitely crimps more than it curls. I suggest paying a little more and purchasing the famed Shu Uemura curler.

I can see why many balk at this price. For a BBW product, it is expensive. However, I find this to be of higher quality and much more luxurious than any of their other products. The scent is delicious (and a bit strong) and the formula is incredibly silky and moisturizing.

Lip Gloss -Tarte - Jake and Samantha

Jake & Samantha is described as "a sheer dark raspberry and pale cotton candy pink." The lighter shade, Samantha, doesn't show up very well and is not particularly special. However, this is worth buying for the Jake shade alone. It's the percect shade of raspberry.

I also received this as a freebie through the Sephora Beauty Insider program. Had I purchased this item, I would certainly return it. While it makes for a decent base, the color is nonexistant.

This is my favorite hand cream and one of the only I've found that also helps moisturize cuticles. The scent is light and citrusy and at $12 for 2.5 ounces, reasonably priced.

I wanted to love this product, as it really does smell like freshly baked cake. Unfortunately, the texture is so off-putting that I doubt I will use this again. Not only is the gloss mushy, it has a grittiness to it that is very unpleasant. I think this would benefit by being reworked with a beeswax base.

Like a previous reviewer stated, this "almost black" is nice but not as interesting as either Lincoln shade by OPI. Unless you get quite close, you can't see the purple undertones. Overall, nice but nothing special.

I bought this in "Kiss." While the color is pretty (if a little too sheer), I cannot stand the burning sensation. It goes beyond the usual tingle of lip plumpers and lasts too long. I would not repurchase.

Gentle lemongrass smell and light coloring, but I didn't detect any of the "sparkle" others report in either of my bombs. I also didn't notice much in the way of moisturizing properties. An average bomb, but not one I would repurchase.

Universally flattering medium-pink that adds shine without imparting the more dramatic "wet" look of other lipglosses. Great formula is non-drying and not as sticky as other products.

Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - My Cherry Amour

I grabbed a few of these as an impulse buy and have been pleasantly surprised. My Cherry Amour is a sheer red that can be worn alone for a more natural look or layered over lipsticks to create a more dramatic effect. The lasting power is good and I don't find it drying. Overall, the Beauty Rush gloss line is a much better (and much cheaper) take on Lancome Juicy Tubes. I will definitely repurchase.

Polishes -Lippmann Collection - Dark Side of the Moon

This wears as an even deeper Lincoln Park After Dark- a gorgeous shade the looks beautiful on short nails. Like all Lippmann polishes, the price is high but the formula is wonderful. Never drying and long-lasting, this lasts a solid week on nails.
