Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HIP Pigment LE 228 Famous Shocking Shadow Pigment

Well, I already bought this product again because I already owned Striving, which is the exact same color. However, it's available online through several sources, all of which display a blue eyeshadow. Unfortunately, I got mine through eBay, which had a blurry picture of it in the packaging so it was hard to tell what the color was (so I can't claim false advertising and get my money back). On the bright side, it is a VERY pretty color and I got it pretty cheap. Just don't get tricked into buying it if you already own Striving (and you don't need to restock). *If you want to see more details about this color see my review on Striving.

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Ultraglide in Heat
rated 4 of 5

I really like this gloss. It's a sheer (but pigmented) red gloss with gold shimmer. It works well alone and over lipstick. I don't like the tube because it's way too long to carry in my pocket. Luckily I haven't had any issues with leaking but I am very careful with it because of the other reviews. I never carry it in my pocket or anywhere that will cause pressure on the tube. I also wish there was more product in the tube. I got mine for super cheap so it was a good deal for me but full price makes it way too expensive for the amount of gloss you get. I would buy this again (smells yummy, good texture), but only for the same price I got it for before. I wouldn't pay full price.

Polishes -Urban Decay - Apocalyptic Nail Kit
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 5/4/2010 3:14:00 AM

This is a really cute kit. The bag can be used for makeup and the bottles are small, but cute. If you get it for around $20 the value isn't bad. The colors are White Widow (dirty white), Gunmetal (greyish brown), Apocolypse (purple-ish black), Grunge (super dark peacock blue), Meltdown (vibrant grape purple), Big Bang (glittery hot pink), and Fbomb (glossy red). For separate color reviews look up each color separately. I wouldn't buy this again because I'd only want one or two of them if I ran out, but I am glad I bought the whole kit. It's fun trying the different colors and I like the cosmetic bag.

Polishes -Urban Decay - Apocalyptic Nail Kit - Grunge
rated 3 of 5

The color is really pretty in the bottle (dark peacock blue shimmer), but once applied it's a glossy non-shimmer black with a slight teal tint. I like it okay, but I would much rather have the color in the bottle. :( The first coat is streaky, but a second coat clears that up and gives a good uniform color that you can't see through. The polish itself chips really easily, though I didn't use a topcoat. The bottles in this kit are really cute, though small. I got mine on clearance, which made each bottle about $2. If you can get this kit for about $20, it would be a pretty good deal. If not, the size of the bottles would make it overpriced.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HIP Loose Pigment- Unashamed
rated 5 of 5
lazypile 5/2/2010 5:24:00 AM

This is a really pretty sparkly plum purple. Someone said it was similar to Urban Decay's Last Call but I think Last Call is more of a burgundy. This is a definite purple. I have light skin and dark olive hazel eyes and this looks good on me. It doesn't have glitter but it does have sparkle. One of my favorite HIP pigments.

Eye Shadow -Avon - Loose Powder Eyeshadow Pot - Peach
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/27/2010 5:28:00 AM

This is a nice little eyeshadow. I'm not a huge fan of dip loose powders because the packaging is limiting, but I actually like the applicator for this one. It's flocked and not unlike a lip gloss applicator. The eyeshadow color also makes it look really soft and appealing. :P The color is more of a pink with peachy tones and really good for blue eyes. It's matte and has a really soft look that's nice for the entire lid. For a while I thought this was boring and ignored it but I rediscovered it now that I have blue contacts.

Lip Gloss -Rocket City - Cool Your Jets Cooling Lipgloss -Frequent Flyer
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/26/2010 6:40:00 AM

I really like this gloss. I wish it was more opaque because the color in the tube is the best pink I've ever seen, but it's still a good pink on my lips. Sheer, but a definite hint of bright pink. The tube is generous and has a nice gentle tingling when applied. This can also be applied over other colors to intensify/tint them. Unfortunately Rocket City no longer exists, but their products are still available online.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HIP PIGMENT PROGRESSIVE
rated 5 of 5
lazypile 4/26/2010 5:23:00 AM

I almost didn't get this because I'm so hooked on bright colors, but I'm so glad I did. It's an intense dark copper that looks gorgeous with my light blue contacts. I haven't applied it wet yet but dry brush application is very pigmented and stays all day with primer.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Quad - Copper Caravan
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/25/2010 5:40:00 AM

I love this quad. The colors (in lightest to darkest) are a pale yellow cream champagne, a light bronze color that actually applied on me as a very pretty pale orange cream, a bright metallic copper, and kind of chocolate brown with copper shimmer. All of them are shimmery and apply well, and can be used for both subtle shimmer and smoky eyes. I've only used them dry so far but I'm sure they'll be more intense with a wet brush. If you're trying to decide between this one and Sizzling Safari (the other quad in this series), I would recommend this one. Aside from the fact that I think the colors are prettier, I think this would look better on more eye colors. This works well with primer and didn't crease for me at all. It was limited edition but you can still find it online.

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Hello Kitty - Glitter Nail Polish w/ Charm
rated 3 of 5
lazypile 4/13/2010 7:34:00 AM

The glitter is really cute with all the different colors, but the brush is horrible. It's fat and has stray hairs that make application really awkward. I tried this over pink polish and it looks cute (would need multiple coats to make the glitter concentrated on the nail), but it's hard to get the big glitter bits to stay on the nail (and they're the best part). I'll keep using this but it might be easier to get multi-colored glitter and just put it on top of polish.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - LipGlide Color Gloss - Sterling Petal
rated 5 of 5
lazypile 4/13/2010 4:48:00 AM

I really like this gloss. The color is a very nice medium cool rosy pink. It's just a semi-gloss, but if you want more shine you can add clear gloss on top. It's practically the same color as my lips so it's a great natural color that still adds a little something. The tube is also really neat. You twist and click it and the color comes out holes in the applicator. It works well and is mess-free. I have two of this brand and I really like both of them (the other I have is Vibrant Violet). I think they might be discontinued but you can still find them online.

Lipstick -Urban Decay - asphyxia lipstick
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/13/2010 3:57:00 AM

I really like this lipstick, despite the texture. It's a bit dry and smells like makeup, if that makes sense. Not unpleasant, but not pleasant, either. It's also not very soft, so you have to work a bit at applying it; you can't have too much lip balm on beforehand or it'll just slip right off without really applying anything. However, despite that, I love this lipstick because of the color. It's not like the Asphyxia pleather pencil or eyeshadow; it's more of a blue purple than a pink/purple shift. It's not as bright either; it's more subdued. It's a really unique lip color. It is discontinued but you can still find it on eBay and the like. It's pricey, but if you like unique colors I do recommend it.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Loose Pigment - Protest
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/11/2010 10:49:00 PM

I like this shadow despite the packaging. It's a dark matte pine green with multi-color microglitter. The shadow is located in a pot that the included brush dips into. If you want to use your own brush, you have to pour it out, which is a hassle and is a potential for wasted shadow. Also, do not use the included brush unless you don't mind dealing with a ton of fallout. If you're applying to the entire lid, the brush does not work well at all. And finally, for best results, I highly recommend using it wet. The glitter shows up, the color is more intense, and there is no fallout. When applied dry the color needs to be layered, it's not as intense, and the glitter is a subtle sparkle. It could be good for the crease but I haven't tried it yet. I also think this would make a really pretty wet liner. I do like this shadow and I'm glad I got it, but because of the packaging I wouldn't buy it again. Unless it was cheap. Then I'd get it anyway. :P

Eye Shadow -Rocket City - Space Case for Eyes - RC-67
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/11/2010 10:29:00 AM

I just got this and I haven't used it yet, but I wanted to make a place for it and upload the picture. I'll edit with more details once I've used it. For now, my first impression is that the colors are shimmery and a good combination of neutrals. The case, like other Space Cases, is neat. You push the button on top and it unfolds itself and props up on the table. Gimmicky, but cool. :P

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Eyeful Eye Glistener 700 Flaunt
rated 4 of 5
lazypile 4/10/2010 7:03:00 AM

This is a bright orange shimmer (with a very slight green flash). It can't be used all over the lid; it creases way too easily. However, I don't use pencils all over the lid so I don't mind. I used it today underneath my eyes. The staying power could be better, but there was still some color at the end of the day. It did stray a bit, though. Nothing major. This is identical to Urban Decay Jones. If you love this color and want it in an eyeshadow that will stay, get that.
