This is a very very sweet floral, the first 5-10 minutes all i get is mint and then the sweetness is left to remind me it smells like a bathroom spray.personaly i like cooler, more complex florals and i prefer CHANEL's gardenia much better.

I'm confused about this one, it's a very beautiful heady floral, resinous, smoky, earthy and soooo complex with great silage but as much as i love and admire this masterpiece i hesitate to wear it. it constantly changes on me, one minute i feel it's way too heavy for me to wear for spring / summer and seconds later it's lighter and more appealing. So i'll be waiting patiently for fall to wear this one without hesitation. 11/3/07 EDIT: I just don't like this one, it's too heavy and unpleasent like inhaling a thick clowd of bug spray.

This is a body chemistry frangrance and it seems to work better on older women, my mom is 56 and it smells wonderful on her spicy, rich, deep, complex and clean at the same time but on me it smells soapy and heavy and weird like cat urine as other have mentioned.

This is one of my favorite fragrances. The young sassy and mischievous sister of Shalimar and Mitsouko, sweeter and more floral then Shalimar minus the incense note and less powdwery and green then Mitsouko but still one can see the resemblance. very warm rich and intoxicating vanillic floral, not at all cloying. an absolute joy.

What a wonderful fragrance !! on me it starts as a sweet clovey carnation with some candy and dries doewn to a warm creamy tender vanilla with the most beautiful powdery note i have ever come across ( i'm not a fan of powdery scents), very unique and the staying power is very nice too (5-6 hours).

This starts as a citrusy peachy oriantal slightly spicy, light and pleasent scent and dries to paechy floral. it remids me of Carolina be Carolina herrera- which much more sophisicated and complex.

Received my sample today and i totally agree with ChristyleighAnkrom's review, smell sticky sweet floral, so 80's and tarty (not in a good way). it reminds of Ted Lapidus Creation and Giorgio Beverly hills.

A lighter more floral version of the original,very suitable for the sommer or for ones that like the original but find it a bit overwhelming. The original was my mother's signature scent and i allways loved it on her and other women but on me it felt too large and heavy like an over sized suit, so finally there is Opium for me too and i love it.

The most gorgeous intoxicating and elegant fragrance. Deep, green, slightly fruity (pear compote) and abit leathery, reminds me of Paloma Picaso. great staying power and after 4-5 hours it reminds me of Cabaret by Gres but sweeter. very feminine not girly at all.

A green fresh fragrance, somehow with a hint of a book store smell but in a nice way with very poor lasting power- 1 hour max. the bottle is very uncomfortable.

This is a terrible fragrance as other reviewers have said, on me it smells like licorice dipped in bug spray and tosset whit wrotting cherrys. YUCK.
