My first EVER purchase from Illamasqua! I kept thinking Illamasqua would be in the same league as MAC, and therefore would be in the same price range as well..............only after my first purchase when I checked my docket did I realise oOoH Whoa! their prices is really OTT! At $32USD for a liquid liner, I would chuck a hissy fit if this product didn't live up to my now OTT expectation! This liner is deep jet black colour, with a high gloss finish. I am an avid makeup junkie and have got nothing like it in my collection, to me the best phrase I would use to describe this liner would be "paint on black patent leather" . I don't think this was waterproof, regardless I don't care. Dries quick, does not budge, smudge, flake or fade. Most importantly super easy to remove. I had absolutely no irritation from it. Let's just say for the price that they are charging, this liner did not let me down. I just simply love the glossy finish that always look wet.
I brought this bronzer in 01, initially I thought it was a completely "matte" bronzer, like another reviewer stated, yes it does have shimmer, but very fine and very minimal. It's the only bronzer I've got in my collection that is close to being a "matte" finish. I love this bronzer, it compliments my complexion giving it a sun kissed finish. It's not overly pigmented, and you can build it up for a more intense colour. I prefer my bronzer to be buildable rather then pigmented, that way you know you can never end up looking like one of the cast of "Jersey Shore".
Eyes -Lancome - Aquatique Waterproof EyeColour Base

This is a little on the pricey side, but this is honestly how MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly should be like( not colour wise obviously 2 completely different colour, but texture and quality etc.) I found this worked great for me! It's s a smooth and blendable cream formula, beige eyeshadow base. the thing I like most about is it does actually even out the tone of my eyes before my eyeshadows go on. I sometimes just wear this alone, and it makes my eyes look really awake and even toned. Keeps my eyeshadows on all day, I can understand how this would crease and fold for a lot of people. I had that same problem initially, but then I realise minimal is the key word for me.
Amazing cleanser! I find Biore has the best Cleansers out there in the market. Super affordable, extremely gentle cleanser get's my face squeaky clean with NO adverse reaction from it ever.
This is a very beautiful bright coral orangey - red! A little on the daring side! Super pigmented, smooth and buttery, because of that I would never swipe it on all over my lips. I usually just dab a little on and then smear it out, much more shear yet the colour still intense. If I apply this lipstick like the conventional way of applying lipstick, it is going to be far too intense and people are going to be like "omg what's going on with her!" Really cheap and affordable, and the quality is better then I expected for NYX, not that any NYX's products was ever a complete let down.
**The Mia is officially available in AUSTRALIA!!!!....But only white for now, the coloured Mia's are arriving sometime in December 2011** Anyways I couldn't wait, so I ended up getting a friend to do a CP from USA and ship it to Australia. I loved my Pro soo much! But with all the traveling, I really didn't want to take my Pro along with me only because I'm afraid I will damage it or the cradle. The Mia is currently only $119USD + tax in the USA including shipping, it actually worked out to be a lot cheaper then the $149AUD Clarisonic Australia is demanding here in Australia. I'm not going to go on about how wonderful the Clarisonic is, obviously love it to death and all the incredible things its done for my skin! ......And partly cause my review for the Pro was like 5000 word essay dedicated to praise the Clarisonic itself, Mia does exactly the same thing... So whatever I write here will technically be a repeat of all that. The Mia is literally half the size of my Pro, small, efficient, the pLink charger is fantastic for the traveler like me. Although I love my Pro and still use it more often then my Mia (Mia is only for when I'm away) I found if your not interested in the body function, or the pulsing T-timer, the Mia is perfect!
I got Love Thing and Love Joy together at the same time. Again, a late night online MAC website purchase. Wasn't thinking too much into it. When these arrive, I was like "OMG!! They are super shimmery!" I was afraid I was going to hate them! I love these! If I was awake and thinking at the time when I purchase these, I seriously would have pass on them, but thank goodness I didn't! I was actually concern about the pigmentation, but no, absolutely pigmented, with a light hand for application and blended properly this is amazing! absolutely beautiful flush, and the shimmer add a glow, not overpowering at all!
After seeing a pan in clip of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's buttocks on Transformer and a full advert of her in nothing but the signature Burberry trench and Burberry "Body", I just cant help myself and race down the perfume aisle at Myer Pitt St and demand a sniff of the (Burberry) "Body". To me "Body" is a warm scent, the notes that stands out the most to me is the cashmere, musk and vanilla. After buying the absolute smallest size of the fragrance, because its all I could afford, I realised maybe I should have been better off walking away after a sniff. Although I do like this scent, and no it did not turn bad after certain time, I just found the scent to be very lingering, overwhelming and too warm for my liking. I started to get a headache after a while and was gasping for fresh air. This scent is beautiful and it stays like that all day cause its very strong which to me feels like I'm always in a perfume aisle. I soon gave my bottle away to someone who appreciates it more then I do.
I brought this 2 years ago and have worn it every now and then since. Only recently did I really learn to really appreciate it, having worn it almost everyday for the last month. Again quality is the same as any other NARS blush, top of their game. To me this is the Perfect Peach! I know on the website it's describe as a true tangerine, but whatever! I believe this is a matte finish, and when blended properly, this colour gives an absolutely amazing glowing flush. This is one of those colour that soo versatile regardless of season or occasion. I usually just tap my flat top kabuki in the pan once, light dab it on my cheeks and then blend. A little goes a long way and yes it is really pigmented. I'm NC30 in terms of complexion and most peach blush usually dont go well with my complexion, but this blush does.
I have this in Jewel, Sunrise Blue and Pure White. I love Jewel and Sunrise Blue, I should have pass on Pure White and gotten an actual colourful colour instead. These are shimmery and smooth, slides on just like the name suggest. However I find they do lose their colour intensity after a few hours and does leave a trail of shimmer, but nothing offensive. The Jewel and Sunrise Blue came of as beautiful metallic colour with shimmer. Pure White came across as rather pastel and lifeless. Their colour range is amazing, if you have soo much eyeliner already, I think you could pass on these.
In one of my favourite Youtube personality hollyannaeree video's, she was going on about Fairest Nude.....Me being me, I just had to get it! Not that I needed another nude lipstick! I found this lipstick to be a perfect balanced nude. other have mentioned warm toned, rosy as their description for this colour, but for me I would have said its a creamy nude beige, with purple or blue/cool undertones. I'm NC30 in terms of complexion, usually cool toned nudes makes me look completely washed out, stoned, cold and dead......But not this. I find this moisturising, and yes it does have a very strong scent, but that usually fades almost instantly.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Nude Lustre

I absolutely love this lipgloss! I've been in search of a brand new nude gloss ever since my HG Red Earth gloss in Milk Way was discontinued and nothing even came close till I found this! Amazing pinkish nude with gold flex, though I did find it a little bit sticky/tacky and it's not a sheer as I thought, but that's no problem with me.
There is something about this product that I think I'm missing out on. My partner recently took me out for our anniversary the other night, and all I wanted to do was look beautiful. I had no eyeshadows on, I only had Bobbie Brown Gel Liner in Caviar Ink and YSL Faux Cils mascara as my eye makeup. This flaked like crazy! I was soo disappointed. The content in my jar was rather dry, it didn't apply as great as I hoped for. I remember I had to dig my brush in the jar just for some product. I knew the flaking was not from my mascara, I used my mascara religiously and never had that problem. To me this can never compare to my MAC Fluidline, and seriously I hate Napoleon Perdis product soo much but, I'm not hesitant to say that even the Napoleon Perdis China Doll Liner is much better then this when it was still usuable(Napoleon Perdis China Doll Liner starts off great and then the content dries up later, but this is dry from day one). I feel as though I'm missing out on something with Bobbi Brown, I've made 2 purchase from Bobbi Brown and both are horrific, and to top things off its expensive.
I love Tarte's Shimmery eyeshadows! Especially the darker colours. Smooth, highly pigmented and easy to blend. I always use these with a primer, and they never crease or have any fall outs.
I purchase this in the shade Dark Blonde from Sephora. Absolutely love this brow powder! I've got dark brows, a lot of brow powders can have that reddish effect, this never. Though this is dark, it was never super dark, nor pigmented, to make your brows look ridiculous, it is just the right concentration of colour. I dont use any brow wax with this, it durable without it anyways. The tube was a lot smaller then what I thought, but with that being said, the product would last forever!
