Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers Blush in Brick Rose
rated 2 of 5

This is a beatiful shade, oddly named 'brick rose' because I see it is more to the cool side than warm brick shade as I expected and was looking for. It last and lasts, not too powdery, not too pigmented, just right. The scent annoys a bit but is a fast vanishing one. Sadly, it is rated highly toxic in the cosmeticdatabase. So it is ruled out for everyday blush.

Lipstick -Revlon - Revlon Colorburst in Peach

It seems not to spread evenly by itself. It needs a brush to aid. It does not last much, not that hydrating. Broke in the first weeks. I'll give that is a creamy shiny, bright lovely peach shade, and is very low toxic rated in cosmeticdatabase.com, so I feel safe wearing it.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Coffee Cake

I loved the colour - it is not a bronzer, but almost there (at least to me, NW20-25)... the colour is just right to give an astonishing healthy glow without looking tan..., it is waaay too shimmery, in fact it is almost frosty to me in daylight. I can't take that unless I'm going for an evening out. For some women that might be ok, But I prefer subtle shimmer. It lasts good 3 hrs, on my mildly oily skin w/o powder. A good product, by not for my taste. If they start making it matte, I sure will buy it, the texture is delicious and doesn't evidence pores. Pity.

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer

great concealer, natural looking (color selection is excellent - no more gray undertones for me), won't crease, it's buildable (but does not need to (sometimes, after a few-hours-of-sleep night :P)), good fine yet non-running texture, and it comes with the brush to apply the right amount. i spread it with my fingers, it is very thin so i don't have to rub this delicate undereye area. it lasts long enough on me - around 8 hours. the only thing is, the wand sometimes makes a mess getting back into, just be careful and sometimes wipe a little with a paper tissue. no big deal. still worthy of a good rate.

Moisturizers -Lierac - Mat-Chrono Emulsion
rated 5 of 5

OMG! this one is my HG daytime moisturizer: my skin is sensitive, oily, has large pores, freckles and millia - how about that? everything makes me break out, everything irritates my skin after keeping it matte for a while, the oily strikes back! this emulsion does everything i need: closes pores, moisturizes, controls the shiny appearance, keeps the tone even and it is a treatment for the fine lines which decided to show up this year, and it's formula prevents the breakout. the only thing is, not to use too much or it will flake, but it is easy to get the right amount from the pump and it is very spreadable... a must.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara
rated 4 of 5

In spite of many reviews, I state for this one: it is the perfect daytime mascara, when you want to enhance your lashes but not to look like falsies. with 3 or 4 coats it bursts my lashes in length and volume, keeping a natural appearance, like I was born with very long and considerably full lashes! it gives an appealing yet discrete look, drawing attention to your eyes but not to your mascara. really defines and it does not smudge. love it. (I have been using it for a month and a half and it hasn't dry yet.)

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Shine Sensational

Got this in peach sorbet. it's not glittery and smells good, it's sticky just enough to not smudge. very comfortable. it lasts like little less than 1 hour and its very moisturizing. I think it could cost a little cheaper, i have got it for 4.90, for this price it's ok; for more... maybe.

Skincare - Face -Vichy - LiftActiv Intensive Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Cream
rated 4 of 5

Reviewing the CxP cream version normal to combination skin. It does moisturize, but I have tried vit C creams before and I recall they did more for my skin. With this one, the skin stays away from flawless - like it does with Lierac mat-chrono, f.e., or even from a good improvement. It does not make me breakout though, and it is rare to find something that does not. Anyway, too expensive for what it delivers. Update: After two months using it, my skin has improved a lot. The large pores almost disappeared and its texture became like the way it was 6 years ago. Nice surprise. However, so far it hasn't been noticeably tightened.
