Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Juice Cherry on Top

This is a great gloss that's thick, but not too sticky. It looks great by itself on my fair with a touch of yellow undertone complexion for a sheer summer look, but still enough color that it's not too light. It also is great for layering, but I tend to use it more by itself in the summer. Also, it has a mild cherry scent, but not overwhelming. I love it and can't beat it for the price.

This product just really didn't do anything. It provides minimal matte effect and even less lasting power. For the price, I expected far greater results. It's going back to Ulta. Very disappointing.

I think this stuff is the best home based hair remover you can buy. I used to live in a big city and got regular professional bikini waxes, but I've relocated to a very small, rural area and it's not very convenient to get professional treatments. I tried this stuff just trying to find something that I might be able to work with at home and I just love it. In fact, I think my home based waxes are better than my previous professional jobs! This stuff is so gentle - meaning it does not irritate my skin at all and the redness is not near as bad as regular wax. Also, the fact that it's water soluable is just awesome. Didn't like where you put it, use a wet washcloth and wipe it off and start over. The muslim strips are reusable over and over again so it's economical b/c I don't have to buy the kit every time, just the refill. I have really sensitive skin and nothing is as gentle as this stuff. Great find!

Polishes -Boots - No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour

I bought the shade Temptress on an impulse just to try this product line when I saw it at Target. I'm usually a die hard OPI girl. I was impressed. This color was gorgeous, great application, and what's even better, is that it lasted a long time. Temptress is a very dark and rich burgundy/brown shade. With short nails, it's a great color. I could even use it with my Seche Vite top coat. Great find!

Eye Shadow -Neutrogena - Soothing Eye Tints

I really liked this product when it is new. It is easy to apply, the color is pretty, even by itself if you are in a hurry and it was effective as a primer under eye shadow for longer wear and no creasing. However, it dried up before I got half way through with it and nothing I did could revive it. Too wasteful.

Eye Primer -L'Oreal - De-crease Eyeshadow base

I've been using this stuff for about 2 years. I like it b/c it's cheaper than department or speciality store brands. It's easy to apply, I use the want to put it on and then blend it with my fingertip. It really does help my eye shadow stay on and no creasing. I often forgo foundation so an eye shadow primer is a real must. I've tried Neutrogena's, but it dries up before I can get it all used. My real only complaint with De-Crease is that because of the shape of the tube, I have to throw the product away before I can get it all out of the tube which is wasteful. Not even a Q-tip helps. L'Oreal has a good product, but they need better packaging.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Concentrated Duo - Lively #308

I love this green. The taupe color is OK, but it's a little darker than I would like as an all over color. The green, however, is wonderful for using as an eyeliner or when I want a heavier, smokey eye look, I'll use the brown all over and then contour with the green on the crease and along my top lashline, then use dark brown or black liner. Very pretty. For reference, I am fair skinned with freckles and have dark brown eyes and hair. The green is very flattering on my dark eyes. One of my favorite things about HIP is that the colors are very highly pigmented and show true to color as well as they last a long time. It's like MAC shadows, only cheaper.

Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Roux - Fanci Full Rinse

I have naturally curly, dry, dark brown hair. I've been coloring at home for the last year and a half to cover my few stray grays. I decided to go back to highlights and had my stylist do it. Well, my highlights came out much blonder than I intended, and some of them were very brassy. A friend recommened Fanci Full and boy, I'm glad I tried it. Not only does it really work (I use the Ultra White Minx at the recommendation of the SA at Sally's), but it also leaves my hair very soft. I will eventually get the hightlights corrected, but I wanted to give my fragile hair a break from chemicals and this rinse will definitely get me by. It says it has a setting lotion in it, which is probably what makes my hair so soft. The smell took some getting used to, but now, I hardly notice it. It's kind of powdery and reminds me of my grandma. Still, nothing beats this stuff. I don't have to worry about this particular shade and rain b/c it's nearly clear with a touch of purple cast to it. With some of the darker shades, I can see how that would be a problem. Still, this is a great inexpensive option. It really helps blend in my too blonde highlights against my dark base color and takes away that brassiness completely. I hear the mousse is easier to use, so I might try that next time.

Lipstick -MAC - Frost Lipstick in O

This is a fabulous shade. When you see it in the tube at the store, you think it's a crazy color and would probably overlook it, but don't! It's my favorite for when I where red, but don't necessarily want to wear red lipstick. It has a cool red undertone with gold frostiness. Just a fabulous color and I get alot of complements on it. I wear it more in the cooler months, but it's great anytime. Plus, it is a typical MAC lipstick that feels really good and has a nice scent. I am never without my "O"! For reference, I'm fair, freckled with dark hair. It's not at all too overpowering for my fair skin.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Renew Intensive Skin Therapy

This is a product from Melaleuca - a wellness company. It's a hand and body lotion. When I look at the ingredients, I don't see anything that spectacular, but I can say this with confidence - IT WORKS! I've tried many, many kinds of body lotions and nothing works as well as this. I have also noticed that when I use it a few times throughout the day as a hand lotion, my nails grow longer and stronger than they have in a very long time with no peeling! It's the best body and hand lotion I've ever used. I think Curel's natural line with vanilla and shea butter (in the green shimmer bottle) works really well, but even it cannot top Renew's performance. The smell is pleasant, but not overwhelming or interfering with my perfume and while it does come in a pump or a tube for travel size, it's very thick, but not sticky upon application. I'm so glad I found this before winter comes b/c I know I'm going to need it!

Lotions/ Creams -TendSkin - Tend Skin

It's the only product I've found that really prevents and treats ingrown hairs after a bikini wax. You do have to use it every day, though. My fiance uses it on his face. He has super thick facial hair and sensitive skin. He just loves it. It does have an unpleasant odor, but it evaporates and does not linger. It's not a luxury product, but it does what it says!

Skincare - Body -TendSkin - Air Shave Gel

My fiance and I can't live without this stuff. We both have sensitive skin (my legs, his face) and this solves our problem. Very close shave. It's not cheap, but a large bottle lasts us both for months. A little goes a long way. I use 2 pumps per leg and that's more than enough. I have no razor burn after using this product. Previously the only other shaving cream that worked for me was Noxema Sensitive Skin (red can). I think it's the dimethecone that makes it so effective. Great find!

I have no complaints about this product. I think it is pretty effective. However, I have found that my Melaleuca Renew Intensive Skin Therapy lotion does a much better job and it's not specialized to just my cuticles.

Polishes -Seche Vite - Seche Prep Nail Cleanser

This seems to be just a small bottle of alcohol. I don't get it. It dries your nails out, too so you can't use it too often. Once a week doesn't seem to both my nails, but I also use Seche Plus strengthener so that might counteract some of the dryness. I just think this was a waste of money. I can't tell that it makes my manicures last longer. Why not just wash your nails really well and then let them dry thoroughly before applying your polish? Sounds good to me.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

First off, how come there are so few posters for this product? It's the best top coat IN THE WORLD! I had read alot about it and just had to try it myself. Boy, it's not joke. It does take some practice to get the application just right so don't give up on the first try. It's supposed to go on thick, but not too thick. It dries super fast and really lives the glossiest, deepest shine I've ever had. It also makes my manicure last longer than other topcoats. THE BEST!
