I said that I would repurchase. However, I really won't because my new Carisonic Mia2 does what this does and more. However, if I didn't have my Clarisonic, I would repurchase this. I actually like it better than Freeman's version because the granules are larger. Otherwise, the product is exactly the same and the Equate version is cheaper.
I am reviewing the Advanced Reviving Advanced Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Eye Day/Night Cream. This stuff is pretty good. I can't compare it to anything as this is the first eye cream I have ever tried. It is definitely a lot cheaper than any other cream I have researched or found. When I apply this, I immediately feel the skin around my eyes tighten. I think it is a temporary thing. However, since I am 29 and have no wrinkles, I know I am at least doing something positive when I apply this moisturizing product. I am just starting my second tub and will probably be repurchasing. I use this every morning after I wash my face and before I apply my sunblock and makeup. I sometimes use it at night after I wash my face but only if I am not in the mood to deal with applying coconut oil instead.
I really like this. I haven't decided if I like this better than the original Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation for combo skin. I really love both. I think this one is better for me in the winter while the liquid is better for me in the summer. The liquid is a bit dryer while the whipped foundation may get slightly oily on me. I only say that because it seems a bit less solid on my forehead by the end of the day when it is time to take off my makeup. The whipped formula is medium to full coverage depending on how you build it. It is very buildable. I apply it with a round makeup sponge. I really would like to try the Beauty Blender (when I actually remember to buy it).
Lip Treatments -Mary Kay - Satin Lips - Lip Mask only
jatkins 12/28/2012 10:27:00 PM
I first tried it four years ago when a friend threw me a Mary Kay- makeover bridal shower/ party. I loved it then. I even thought I remembered winning a free set, but I don't think it made it home with me. My mom got me this set for Christmas. Apparently my dad (a very manly man's man) uses it when he gets really chapped lips. He loves it. Anyways- I do recommend this as it does do a pretty decent job of removing dead skin and then moisturizing your lips. However, I feel like they are back to the way they were before using the mask by the next day. The initial results are awesome, but there is nothing lasting about it. I think the packaging says to leave it on 1-2 minutes. I leave it on for about 5 minutes.
I have all of these palettes except the Smoky Eye one because I know I would never wear most of those colors. Anyways, this palette is my favorite of all of them. To be precise- Satin Sheets is my favorite eye shadow color ever. It is a skin toned color with a slightly goldish pink sheen. I have yet to find an exact dupe. I've more than hit pan on this color- there's none left. Stiletto is an amazingly matte and pigmented black. I like all the colors but these are by far my favorite. I said I would buy this again, but I am not sure if I really will since I'd be buying it for Satin Sheets as I still have a ton of all the other colors. No matter- I highly recommend this palette!
Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Fergie Hollywood Walk of Fame

Kind of gimmicky (spelling?). Although this is really cute, there is no possible way to apply this other than to hope at least a couple stars stick to the brush. Even then you have to manually remove them from the brush to place them where you want. Plus the staying power is horrible- as is any nail polish with large glitter pieces. If you try to brush these on, you will get a glop of clear polish and no stars. So, next time I want to use stars in my pedicure, I will just buy star confetti and place them on my freshly clear-polished painted nails. This would be much better if they had loaded the bottle with stars. My bottle along with the others on the rack were lacking in the confetti.
Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Sleek Conditioner

First off- my bottle looks nothing like this. Mine is silver with an orange logo. This is the best conditioner I have ever used and I have tried a lot. I recommend this to anyone. The big 28 oz. bottle is only $2.50 at Target!
I hate this product. I know hate is a strong word, but for something that costs this much, but does nothing but make my hair greasy, I hate it! So, I have naturally semi-dry hair. I used to use the leave-in serum and loved it until I found Chi Silk Infusion. Anyways, I have been using this stuff for three days. Every day my hair has came out dry (more than normal) at the ends and greasy on top. Not a good look or feel! The last two days I spent and extra couple minutes rinsing to make sure nothing was left over. It just makes my hair feel diry and I hate that! This might work for someone with extremely and evenly dry hair, but if your hair is only dry in one spot, be ware of the greasiness.
Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care Shampoo
jatkins 3/15/2012 2:36:00 PM
I have tried high and low end conditioners sold at Ulta, Sephora, Target, Walmart, and various online stores. Out of all of them...this is by far my favorite. I have no plans to ever change shampoos as long as Suave continues to make this. I wish I could say as much about the conditioner. It is a mediocre Suave version of something more expensive. That's all.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - 080 Strawberry Shortcake
jatkins 3/15/2012 2:32:00 PM
I like this, but I certainly do not love it. The texture is great. That is my favorite part of all of the lip butters. The color on the other hand is much cooler than the packaging leads you to believe. This color doesn't do anything good or bad for me. I'll use it up. Creme brule is still my favorite shade.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee
jatkins 2/22/2012 4:58:00 PM
My favorite lipstick and color ever! I just wish the color lasted. I doesn't last more than a half hour on me.
Perfect slightly shimmery nude. The lasting power is pretty good- about 4 hours. My only gripe is that it feels like it could be a bit drying if I wore it often and the smell reminds me of the way makeup smelled in the 90s. It was only $6 at Target in Arizona. I'd buy it again.
Beautiful blood red micro glitter when and only when applied over OPI Red. Otherwise it is a very clear glittery nail polish. Highly recommend the combo. The combination looks like Dorothy's red slippers. Love it!!!!!! This polish is unimpressive on its own (as is almost all glitter polishes), but beautiful when paired with OPI Red.
Cute packaging. I have the pink and the peach one. The pink one is very pigmented. I usually don't wear colors, but I like it. The peach just has a tiny bit of tint. You can hardly see it. I like these. I have to reapply more often than I like. For the price, it is ok though. Mine do not look like the main picture. Rather they have a clear lid that is shaped more like a lipstick.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Continuous Control Acne Cleaner
jatkins 9/24/2011 12:43:00 AM
The BEST product ever created! If I could only own one facial cleansing product for the rest of my life, this would be the one. I really don't wan to live without it!!!! I freaked out when Clean and Clear stopped production for a month last summer. I found a CVS that still had 9 tubes on the shelf and I bought them all. That's how much I love this!!!!! I have had issues with mild acne ever since I was 19. No matter what makeup, makeup remover, face wash, acne treatment, toner, or medication I used, I always had small pimples on my cheeks. They were hardly noticable under makeup, but I knew they were there. :( Ever since finding this stuff, I have had totally clear skin with no signs of returning acne. This seems to be the only face wash that totally removes all dirt and makeup from my pores. It's that wonderful 10% benzoyl peroxide. Don't be foold though, Noxema makes a face wash that claims to have 10% benzoyl peroxide. It is not nearly as effective as this product. The only negative- because of the peroxide in it, it bleaches shirts and towels. So, you have to be very careful or not wear/use clothes/towels that you care about when using this. I recommend wearing lower cut shirts so you don't accidently splash even the tiniest amount. It will bleach your shirt without fail.
