Wow! I cannot believe the good reviews here. I just must have a very different kind of hair...not a bad product if you like your hair to stay dirty, gummy-frizzy (hard to explain exactly), and use way more product that you would otherwise have to. For me in anyway, it was the most expensive and time-consuming way to wash my hair and not feel clean. I gave it a 2 for the eucalyptic effect, which feels nice in the shower. Update: I still do not "get" this stuff. It's relegated to leg-shaving, though I do not do that very often. I shall never purchase this waste again. Update: Tried this stuff again. To me there is no greater effect in the hair than to get it clean, and this is just way too much work. I use a minimal amount of shampoo, and some conditioner, and that seems to work much better. If it works for you , then great. But for me, frugal consumer, I find this a true waste of time. I have also tried this just as a conditioner, and I am not pleased with the results.

Gels/Soaps -Suave - Naturals Moisturizing Body Wash in Ocean Breeze

Good one! Very mild, great scent, not too perfumey. Update: The shampoo version is generally 50 cents less...buy this and use it as your gel. Still as pleasant. Looking at the reviews I have to laugh! Either get used to this as a possible smell when you cleanse your hands in public, or just die. How pathetic. This is about the most innocuous of smells, period.

Treatments -RoC - Retinol Correction Deep Wrinkle Night Cream

Well, I'm 42, cheap as hell, and this was a splurge for me. I wanted to try something with retinol, and I did buy this on a whim. I am surprised that it has not broken me out, and that my skin is really smoother than before I started using it. I really like the way it sinks right into the skin, and makes it feel more "pliable" (if that makes any sense) without being greasy. My skin is normal, with few wrinkles, but I do have a deep crease between my eyebrows from years of not bothering to wear sunglasses. It hasn't gotten rd of the crease (my "character" line), but it certainly, without a doubt, has made my skin smoother and (I dare say) "younger" looking. I do recommend this for normal to oily skin. Maybe not dry skin. I hope this review is helpful. Update: Still really like this. Very moisturizing, though I cannot attest to "wrinkle-correcting." LOL, as though any cream is going to do that! Nice cream, however, and especially for oilier skins I would say.

Polishes -E.L.F. - Dark Navy

I have to say, for $1, this was not what I expected. Amazing opacity and thickness--not many coats necessary. My mother taught me to love Chanel nail polish, but I can now say what a foolish waste of money, particularly if you just want to try some trendy shades.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

Best product I have ever used with a nice high SPF. Most others make me break out. makeup lays nicely upon it. Please send a letter to J & J (as I have done) to ask them to stop animal testing. It's not necessary. This really bothers me. So many good products out there, no testing on animals necessary. (As a background: I used to work for L'Oreal. Stopped because of their animal-testing policies. It seemed they had stopped the testing and hence could advertise as such, but had simply moved the testing to another independent lab. I know that this is not necessary.) Please stop animal testing for the purpose of cosmetics. Otherwise, J&J is such a wonderfully ethical company. Switched to Olay. Damn, they also test on animals. Bringing it down to 3 only because they test on animals.

If I could have only one color nail varnish, this would be it! Valentine a close second. Like Chanel "Vamp" but not as "gothy" on my light skin. And you can't beat the price!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Hydroderm Fast Acting Wrinkle Reducer Serum

I am not one to spend a lot of money on skin care products, but a friend of mine hailed this as a great moisturizer. After 4 days of application, my skin broke out in a red rash and with some cystic acne. Truly, my face became the "before" picture, while before using it, it more resembled the "after." I cannot say it won't work for someone else, but i must have a sensitive allergy to one of the ingredients. Be careful.

My favorite under-makeup moisturizer. Non-greasy, good for oily skin types. Probably not enough moisture for those w/ dry skin, however. Dirt cheap too!
