Yes I love Drench and I bought it just to try out Illamasqua for the first time ever, but most of all because I wanted to find a great and more than likely matte lipstick that matched my MAC Beet lip pencil. Especially since MAC no longer had a lipstick that could match that lip pencil after they discontinued both Moxie from the Retro Matte collection from many years ago, and they discontinued all of the Mattenes and I think Rapturous (?) or something like that was the color from the Mattenes that matched the Beet lip pencil. But yadda, yadda, yadda I still like Drench a lot and it's definitely a lipstick that people notice on me in a good way because both men and women say that they like it on me!
I agree with juicy69. I'm an NC45 and I love Blonde Venus. I too found Honolulu Honey a bit light for me. I prefer Blonde Venus even to my MAC Ravishing lipstick although they're both about in the same color family of Corals. Blonde Venus is like a lovely, easy summery color when you want to put a lipstick on that's effortless and also seems to go along with all the sunshine outside, if it gets sunny where ever you are! LOL I must also add the last time I bought a Nars lipstick it was Manhattan, which was beautiful and neutral but it had the most horrible metallic plastic-y taste, so I'm glad to see that Nars finally did something to rectify that bitter, disgusting situation. Because I bought the Blonde Venus fairly recently and wouldn't you know it? I could actually live with it, and even eat with it without wanting to wash it off!
Eye Primer -NARS - Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

WOW! Have I ever been on the fence about THIS base! It does the job swimmingly, I'll say that. Although it is quite sheer, on darker skin it will show up a bit especially if you don't rub it in and blend it before putting on your eye makeup. But that's not even the real issue here. I have long bottom lashes as well as long top lashes. Applying this base to my top eyelids is fine! It works a like dream there! But on my BOTTOM lids... I have to apply it with care, time, and patience and literally pull the base from off of my lower lashes and stuff like that. Because once I blink, the base will run into my eyes very quickly and sting them and even make them run slightly and it will cloud up my contacts! I hated it for a while thinking, why couldn't an expensive company like Nars come up with a base for the eyes that was comfortable and eye safe! But as long as I apply it to bottom lids with patience and care and remember to remove the base from the bottom lashes before I even blink, it's all fine for the whole day! LOL LOL LOL And my eyelids are really, really oily! Just a warning there though.... But I always do have my MAC paint pots which don't irritate my eyes ever at all, but this Nars base has the convenience of having its own applicator ready for you.
I love the Nars liner stylo and I love the MAC Penultimate liner, and I still have both! The liner stylo is really black which is great and from now on I'll only apply liquid liner and 'cat eye' liner shapes using pen eye liners such as the aforementioned. It's the only way and the easiest way. I can't comment and say much about it not slipping off of my eyelids and it being longwearing because MY eyelids are so very, very oily that every brand of shadow and liner will slip off and be a wipe-y mess every. single. time. if I don't use some kind of base such as the Nars Pro Prime smudgeproof eyeshadow base or the MAC paint pots or something of that order.
I'm on the fence about buying this concealer again. I like it, and I have very oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin but MAC makeup never breaks me out. Go figure. But my point is just because it's called Select Moisturecover doesn't mean I can't wear it everyday. It's fine on me. I like to use it under my eyes but preferrably on lips to neutralize the color of them, when I have the time to do that. But I think I'll buy the Pro Longwear concealer next time and try that out for a while instead, because I haven't tried that at home yet but in the MAC counter the Pro Longwear concealer was fantastic looking.
Yeah Visa's alright smell-wise but Bandit ends up smelling better, more interesting and different.
Yes I agree with ellis's previous review. Futur, although I love the name and of course the great all-black bottle and packaging, is horrible. It just smells old and funky. At least Bandit smells weird, interesting, and actually good or passable.
I love Bandit and I still haven't bought it yet. Don't ask why. I'm always buying something else is really why.
This one of my most favorite perfumes ever and I HATE patchouli and I always have! It has to take a very talented and gifted man like Tom Ford to make a perfume that's actually called 'patchouli' that I would actually buy in this lifetime. But it smells great on me and I love it. It's daytime-y and it's not overwhelmingly hippy-dippy patchouli at all.
I haven't bought Red Pepper yet but now I'm sorry I didn't. The MAC Pro shop has it still. I had to decide between Charred Red and Red Pepper at the time so I picked Charred Red, which is also very nice and wearable but I love the fact that Red Pepper is a more muted and even more wearable version of Viva Glam I.
Sin is a great looking, great quality lipstick and color but because it is so cool-toned and blue-based I picked up Charred Red from the MAC Pro shop instead. Charred Red and Red Pepper are much warmer and have more of a brown base.
I'm so sorry I bought this now. I should swap Captive because I've barely used it and I hate it. Craving is a LOT prettier to me than Captive. It has this darker mauve color on me that I just hate. Craving is more of a dark pink on me and that's what I prefer. I'm an NC45.
I love Constructivist as a base for brown and shadows and eye liners. And it really does hold it all on.
Amber Lights the best! I've even used this as a blush or highlighter in the evening but otherwise it's a great shimmery nude shadow on me!

I haven't bought this but I've smelled it and I think it's the best perfume that MAC's ever done compared to their others in the past.
