I found this for 50% off at Ulta, which is a good deal, although I don't think I'd pay the normal price for it. This is a really sheer, shimmery girly pink that barely shows up on the lips. It's nothing great but it's not bad either, I will use it up and may purchase another sheer glide if they go on sale again. I would prefer if these were sheer and shiny instead of sheer and sparkly (the sparkles are kind of gritty, but not bothersome). They last sort of long, but it's nothing impressive.
My mom tried this on at Sephora and it hung around all day. The smell reminds me of that of cheap sunless tanner, I didnt sense anything "cool" or "watery" about it. I also realized that a lot of people I know wear this...I just always thought thay smelled bad...lol.
cotton candy, anyone? ick...this stuff just smells bad.
When I first sampled this in Sephora, I fell in love. The price, however ($45 for smallest bottle) stopped me from purchasing it. After a while, I sniffed my wrist again and noticed something in it that just didn't smell right, so I'm glad I didn't get it. I own Rush 2 and can't stand it anymore, the scent just makes me gag, the same thing would probably would have happened with this scent too. The big bottle of this stuff is HUGE too! It's pretty heavy and it's hard to press the spritzer down when your hands are clamped over this oversized sqare shape bottle.
I, too, normally go for light, fruity/floral scents, but something about this scent just made me buy it. This isnt a really common scent in my opinion and I really like the the whole vanilla thing. I would only wear this in the evening to a nice restaurant or during the fall/winter, definitely not a spring/summer scent! This can be kinda heavy, but its never become really annoying, I just use it sparingly. I also bought this in the gift set so I got the lotion (which is pretty nice) too.
Bronzers -Prescriptives - Sunsheen Bronzing Powder - So Cool

After mixing up a custom blended foundation at the prescriptives counter and putting it on me, I think the lady realized how extremely pale and washed out she had made me. She picked this up and dusted it over my face. She actually chose the "warm" one, but I thought it looked too orange, so I bought ths one instead. I never use the shimmer side of this though, I really dont like the whole sparkly bronze thing, which unfortunately, is what most companies sell. Oh well, this looks natural and stays put. Not sure if I would buy again, seeing as I only use half, but we'll see.
YAY!!!!! My search for a great, waterproof, smudgeproof, budgeproof eyeliner as come to an end (a.k.a. I have foung my HG eyeliner)! I have this in Very Black and I am soooooo happy w/it. This glides on smooth and I love the whole "automatic" pencil idea b/c I hate sharpening. I use this on my upper and lower lashline and smudge the bottom with a moist q-tip before it sets. The sexy smokey eyed look I create in the morning is there in the evening and still looks great. I have found that this will budge a TEENY bit if a moisturizer is used under the eyes, but it hasn't been a big problem. It's Chanel though, so you know it's gonna be pricey (around $27 I think) but the quality and staying power of this is simply BRILLIANT!
I swear that this must be the devil of all cleansers! It is horrible, atrocious, horrific and repulsive (ok, maybe i'm a little dramatic, but this stuff is evil). My friend got this and we used it for a couple days after we'd get back from the beach (figured it would be good to get off all the tanning oil and the cooling sensation would be nice after hours under the sun). Soon after, out faces started burning so we put on some moisturizer (which didn't stop this stuff from doing it's damage). We were left with huge patchy desert-dry patches all over our faces that cracked (and cracked deep, mind you)like nothing else. My friend got it worse than I did and her face began bleeding from the dryness. Needless to say, she threw it out. This stuff totally reeks too! Clearasil would be wise to just pull this stuff of shelves, dont buy it!
This would be PERFECT if it was just more pigmented! It takes a while to get some color out of it, but the end result is pretty good. The shimmer adds highlight to cheeks and the color is natural. I wish it would stay longer, but oh well. Great packaging and worth the price.
Concealers -Revlon - ColorStay Under Eye Concealer

BLEH! I bought this for use on under eye circles. It dried stiff, didnt look even, and cracked. After a few hours, it settled into fine lines and wouldn't blend back to normal.
I got this back when these were in every magazine and on everyone's wish list. Yes, that was a while ago, and I just now found this after tossing it a makeup bag full of stuff I dont like and rarely use. After trying this on again, I like it better than before, but I still don't care for it very much. This practically has no color (which I didnt expect anyways) and has a *pinch* of sparkle. Smells delictable and gives a nice, glossy sheen. Stickiness is minimal and while lasting power isn't great, it's better than most. My main problem with this is the price...totally overpriced and this is definitely nothing special. The whole brush applicator and twist up thing was cool and new before, but now you can ge something just like this at target for $2. This is a waste, but I will make use of it.
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Gloss- A Lick of Taffy-151

Hmmm...I really can't decide on this product, sometimes I like it, sometimes I dont. It goes on very thinly so it doesn't feel goopy, which is nice, but the color is very thinly distributed too. Instead of a pink tint, you get more of a silver/green shimmer on your lips, which can make you look really washed out. I guess it's nice, and I will continue to use it every now and then, but I just don't care for the color too much, lasting power is pretty good, but nothing great. Of course, it's Dior, so you know it's gonna be pricey, but good quality and only the most adorable packaging though!
Hmmmm...this stuff is kinda odd. It's rather uncomfortable b/c your lids stick together when you open them up wide. You also really cant wear a shodow underneath because it will crease all over. HOWEVER...the look that this stuff creates alone over lids and all stickiness aside, I love this product, it creates a really unique gloss over the lids and looks pretty cool, it's not something that you see others wear often, so it's cool to wear something so sexy and unique.
I have these in the White Diamonds collection. These, I think are the best "multi effect" shadows out there. They are similar to Trucco's Angel Eyes, Smash Box's Eye Illusion. and Dior's Moonray shadows and have flecks of silverish glitter in them, very pretty. The best thing is that these can go on sheer or very heavy, they don't last too long, but I don't care b/c I dont wear them very often (kinda out of style now). For a really cool look though, you can apply CK Eye Gloss over these with a dusting on top. It's kinda uncomfortale and creases a bit, but it looks really cool.
This is a nice set of colors that will pretty much go with everything. You can create a natural or really bold look with them as well. I don't like the applicator, and these are pretty expensive for the amount you get too. Staying power is pretty good as I've only had creasing problems once. I will probably buy this again once I use mine up, I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but I give in because the colors are so great.
