Pressed Powders -Hard Candy - Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder

I really enjoy this product. The packaging is sooo cute (as always with Hard Candy products) and the powder keeps my tzone matte for a few hours. The only con is the colour selection. At my walmart, there is only three colours to choose from (light, medium, and dark). I feel like the light may be just a tad too light for me, but i only use it in my tzone so it acts as a nice highlight. I would repurchase.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer

This is an AMAZING heavy-duty concealer! Best one i've seen at a drugstore. The price is fairly reasonable and you get a lot of product for the amount you need. The concealer is extremely pigmented so just a small dab would do your whole face. The concealer pencil that came with it is nice for around the lip line or any small blemishes and it blends very nicely. I feel like this product is almost an exact dupe of Kat Von D's tattoo concealer - but only a tiny fraction of the price! Only downside is that it feels extremely greasy and it does slide off the face when wearing it for a long time, but i would definitely repurchase.

Cleansers -Dermalogica - Skin Clearing Wash

This product is amazing at drying out pimples or any blemishes. It smells fresh and it has a really nice cooling effect to it. The packaging is very nice and simple and I love how the larger size has a pump. You only need a very small amount so the larger bottle size will last you a very long time. Cons of this product would be it is extremely drying to the skin especially if you miss a spot when rinsing it off (i experienced this around my nose and mouth). When I first started using it, i experienced an itchy sort of red rash on my neck and jaw and around the front of my ears. After I started to regularly use it, the rash went away and my skin hasn't reacted again. I would probably buy this product again but I would only use it for a small amount of time to get rid of blemishes because it is VERY drying to the skin.

Liquid -Maybelline - Dream Liquid Mousse
rated 2 of 5

I used this product about a year or so ago before. My current foundation was running low so I decided to try Dream liquid mousse out, not remembering why I didn't stay with it in the first place.. well, now I know why. Pros of this foundation is definitely the price and the packaging. The packaging has a pump, which makes for control, and the price is always cheap, usually around 7-8 dollars canadian, but there are always sales going on. On a downside, the colour selection is AWFUL. Every colour seems to have a very unflattering orangey tone to them and makes your face look a bit like a peach.. it's not attractive. The colour looked fine in the store, but when I brought it home, that was a different story. The foundation slowly drifted off my tzone during the day, so I definitely do not recommend this product to an oily/combination skin type. I would NOT purchase again.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

I love this product. I love how they have a choice for combination skin. Having combination skin makes it very difficult to find a proper foundation due to the oiliness in the t-zone. This foundation stayed put all day long and gave me an extremely flawless application. I found it easy to blend with a sponge, and i barely had to wear any concealer at all because this foundation is so pigmented on its own. Only down-side I believe was the packaging. The foundation is quite runny, so it was very difficult to keep from making such a mess. I think this product would be better with a pump. All in all, I would buy this product again and I was very happy with it.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 3 of 5

I've been using Urban Decay's Primer Potion for over a year now. I always loved it.. it did what it was supposed to do. I could wear it all day on my lids without ANY creasing at all and the eyeshadow went on seamlessly and I always have compliments. Now, after going through maybe 4 - 5 tubes of this, I have noticed how terrible the packaging really is. All of the purple paint had chipped off, going all over my fingers that had the primer on them (not to mention the primer is sticky enough on its own). Everytime I had to apply my primer, i had to pick off every little purple paint chip off my fingers or else it would be forever embedded in my eyelids.. trust me.. not fun. On that note.. my tube is now white, with all of the paint chipped off.. and I am happy. Such a disappointment, Urban Decay! :(
