Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - X eye shadow
rated 5 of 5

X (gold w/ sheer peach tint) is another great Summer gold for me, the other being Half Baked. If found if I pack too much of this on it's way to warm for me to pull off with my NW/NC 25 coloring, but a nice wash of color on the lid is perfect.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Twice Baked
rated 4 of 5
careypiper 1/1/2011 10:11:00 PM

This is not one of Urban Decay's usual textures, Twice Baked (brownie brown w/ gold glitter) is more a chalky satin with gold shimmer and glitter. I use this in crease with Half Baked on the lid. The two different finishes work well with one another and I don't find Twice Baked impossible to blend. Just use a good base shadow to make it easier to blend and go lightly this can go dark quickly. For reference I'm a NW/NC 25.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowboy Rides Again
rated 5 of 5
careypiper 1/1/2011 10:01:00 PM

Know that this is a Glitter-Bomb of a eyeshadow and I'm reviewing as such. I like glitter and I like natural eye shadows, so this holds a special place in that very small category. I would probably would never wear this eyeshadow out but if I need a pretty, glitter-bomb of an eyeshadow this would be it. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again (golden beige w/ bronze, gold & silver glitter) brings out my inner-child that just needs to come out every once in awhile.

In the Summer when I get on my Gold kicks, Half Baked (subtle, lustrous bronze ) of my all time favorite go-to golds. Silky smooth and very bendable, also I didn't find this as warm a Baked. NW/NC 25

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Goddess
rated 3 of 5

This shade was a complete surprise, I've always found all of UD shadows smooth and silky. Not Goddess (midnight blue w/ lots of electric blue microglitter ) it was a chalky, glittery mess. Swapped that away quickly.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Get Baked Palette [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

I found that something UD eyeshadows didn't agree with me, and makes my eyes twitch/spasm. But I truly love the texture and finish of them so I decided to swap for this palette and get rid of all my other UD e/s. Half Baked is my all-time favorite, with Twice Baked in the crease they made a lovely pair. I could add Baked or Flipside if I wanted to change things up. I still can't wear this often but glad to have one item from UD.

Blush -Urban Decay - Afterglow Blush in Exhale [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5

I was excited when I purchased this, I was on a UD kick. I was sadly disappointed when I received this blush, it was this tiny little thing 4.0g / 0.15 oz. The shade was okay, a little on the warm side and of coarse being UD shimmery.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Matte Eyeshadow in Illegal
rated 4 of 5

Another smooth matte formula from Urban Decay, and as I read previous reviews I see why it didn't work me. It's very cool toned and I just can't pull that tone off. For reference I'm a NW/NC 25.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Matte Eyeshadow in Revolver
rated 4 of 5
careypiper 1/1/2011 9:06:00 PM

Urban Decay has the best matte eyeshadow formula smooth and easy to blend. Unfortunately I found Revolver (stone gray) to be a very cool toned gray, that turned a blue-gray on me. For reference I'm a NC/NW 25

Green Goddess - Intense Green Maui Wowie -Khaki Purple Haze - Intense Purple Urban Decay says to try them wet, but that is actually the only way I could get these to work. They were messy and a serious p.i.t.a. to work with, hence why they are now discontinued. They were all matte and had a smudging sponge on the other end of the liner.

What a great color a metallic dark green with gold flash. The texture is smooth and easy to apply. I picked this up during one of the HauteLook Sales. The shade has now been discontinued. For reference I'm a NW/NC 25 or Light-Medium with Neutral.Beige Undertone. Unfortunately I can't wear UD shadows since they make me eyes twitch/spasm.
