I already love te Plushglass formula. As soon as I tried Ample Pink i was in love. Plushglasses are smoother and less sticky than Lipglasses, have a tropical coconut/vanilla scent and aren't harsh like other plumping glosses *I'm looking at you Too Faced Lip Injection!* Plushglasses more or less plump out the lines in your lips, moisturise and add a glossy sheen to give the plump effect. This colour is a nice sheer, creme beige nude colour, which still lets your natural lip colour show through while toning it down and giving you a glossy pout. Love this. It is my new staple gloss.
Bronzers -Too Faced - Pink Leopard Bronzing Powder

Very cute. I am a very pale girl, think porcelain and this is a lovely bronzer for my skintone without being muddy or orange. The perfect amount of sheen with the perfect tones to compliment my skin. The packaging is magnetised cardboard which is handbag safe, not to mention its very girly pink with a little pink ribbon to help open the lid and an inbuilt mirror. I think this one will last me a long time considering the size and how much I have to use. I also think this will be a nice highlight bronze to a summer tan. A definate recommend for those cool, fair ladies!
Makeup Brushes -Too Faced - Retractable Kabuki Brush

Beautiful brush, I have only had this for a day and I'm in love. I used it to apply my Studio Fix powder and Pink Leopard Bronzer and this gave me a flawless face, not to mention it feels velvety soft and plush. The packaging is nice, metallic pink with flowers, and is retractable with a cap. This means I can use it for a more intense application of anything or a softened powdery look. It is expensive but I am officially in love.
I had just seen this new product on the Too Faced website and was excited to try it as I was going into town to get the Pink Leopard Bronzer and the kabuki brush. Anywho I checked this out and swatched on my hand first in First tTime which is a barely there pink. Now Pillow Talk is more of a pinky nude. A gorgeous EVER so slightly shimmery creme lipgloss with the initial smell of vanilla cupcakes. I was talking to the lovely sales rep who then mentioned i had the Lip Injection formula built into it. Now i HATED that formula. The first time I brought it, it burned the HELL out of my lips and I had to run over to the Dior counter for a smearing of lipbalm all over my inflammed and sore lips. He assured me that this was definately not as strong, so I tried it on. A lovely, pinky creme nude beige that is very flattering on my pale skin! Then the tingle set in...and this time it is much more cooling that the original injection formula! It plumps my thin pathetic lips up, plumps out the lines in my lips leaving them smooth, full and glossy with lovely colour. I am in love! It even comes with a brush applicator. The only 3 things I'm NOT thrilled with are: * the packaging while cute, looks a bit tacky with the big diamante on the top of the wand. Although this brand does kinda get aaway with the cheap chic look * there is a slight medicinal taste if you get it in your mouth * it is kinda expensive for what it is, BUT it lasts longer than a MAC lipglass, has more product and is not as sticky I really like that this plumping creme gloss is not a burning chilli pepper sensation, but more of a chilly menthol cooling sensation. This is a gem, I'd definately recommend!
This is my go-to work shadow..or weekend or anything shadow! Lovely peachy beige with gold shimmer that is blendable and makes my green eyes stand out a little more.
Lovely gloss/balm type product. I use Nutrisource Levres at night and this during te day to keep up moisture levels. It does a decent job of keeping my lips moist, nothing fantastic like the Nutrisource but a nice staple colourless glossy balm for workwear. This is non-sticky, tastes kinda sugary and spells like sweet apricot. I am also fond of the squeeze tube packaging, which is convenient.
I got this at my nearest Mecca Cosmetica when they were having a 50% off sale. To be honest I was surprised this brand would be anywhere near as cheap as I got it for. I like to go for blushes that give me a healthy pinky flush, and this is exactly what this blush does. It is a nice matte cool pink powder, I would liken this to a powder version of Benefit's Posietint, and lasts me an entire 9 hour workday and then some, which is excellent for a powder blush. This is my first TheBalm product, and I am now keen to try more of their products! I also love the cute retr packaging they come in. Pros: lovely colour, makes me look fresh and healthy stays on all day non gritty, non sparkly matte texture heaps of product cute packaging non scented Cons: maybe the fact that it does not snap shut but is cardboard and relies on a magnet to keep it closed. I doubt I'll ever run out bt if I do I would definately repurchase.
Moisturizers -Biotherm - Aquasource Non Stop (Dry Skin)
blacksheep6293 6/28/2010 7:51:00 AM
i bought this in a pack including a smaller sized mousse cleanser and 'softening' toner. this moisturiser came as full size, and I have used about a third of it only having had it a few weeks. at first i really loved it. now, my skin is almost perfect. It is soft, porcelain and I NEVER get pimples, nor did I when I was a teen. This made my skin even more velvety overnight and left my skin unbelievably smooth. fast forward a week or two, I had gotten a few small red bumps on my cheek and forehead. I didnt really think much of this so continued using it. well this weekend, the red bumps turned into pimples with a white head on them. not pleasant. they were itchy and sore and my skin has never reacted like this to any skin product before. it was expensive unfortunately, and I have since given it away to my aunt, but have kept the cleanser and toner as they were quite nice. Pros: leaves skin silky and velvety smells pleasant nice texture Cons: expensive had an oily feeling to it comes in a jar broke me out Sorry Biotherm, this has put me off trying any more moisturisers.
Apart from the obvious con of the pot packaging, this is absolutely amazing. I go high and low always searching for a great lipbalm as I have very sensitive lips that are prone to peeling. 2 days use is all I needed to write up this review. This is probably the most emollient lip product i have ever used. Non offensive smell, transperant colour. Sinks into the lips quickly but still leaves a barrier to protect from the elements. 5 essential oils as listed by other reviewers. This is quite expensive ($40AUD) bu to be honest, the jar contains a lot of product and one application per day is enough to keep the lips gorgeous (I use this as a night treatment and Aquasource Levres during the day). I also have long nails, so a lip brush serves its purpose well in this situation. I will forever more be buying this, if I ever finish it! Pure holy grail must-have product.
This product, to put it simply, is great. I use this once I've set my foundation or tinted moisturiser with powder, then spray this onto my duo fibre brush and press it into myskin. Makes my makeup last ALL day, looking freshly applied. Smells wonderful, like cucumber and something else. Very refreshing, would definatley buy again once I run out. Even though i use it every day, I have barely used a few mils.
Amaziiinngggg. Not many places actually sell NARS in Australia but I went to the city Myer in Melbourne and found 2 counters! There, I had already been suckered into buying Turkish Delight lipgloss (which I loved). I browsed around the lipsticks, looking for something clean and pink, no shimmer but creme. I also wanted to be able to layer it with TD. The lovely sales rep suggested Roman Holiday, and I fell in love immediately. I wore it the other day at work, and thought it just looked great with my fair skintone and blonde hair-green eyes thing going on. It was my perfect shade of Barbie pink. The wear was gorgeous as well, the perfect amount of slip, lovely moisturising properties, no bleeding outside the lipline ad not completely opaque (it is a sheer after all). I really do like this lipstick, and was quite surprised to find that I did. It doesn't have the same smell or taste as the lipglosses, which is a relief. This smells almost faintly herbal, like oranges and someting else (I read the ingredients and it does seem to have a lot of various extracts.) Oh and did I mention a very subtle shine to the lips? Lovely! I would definately purchase again albeit the horrendous price ($58AUD!!!!), but its too good to just walk past. Will be looking into other shades.
Nice nude gloss for a smokey eye. This pulls beige-peach on me...I don't see any pink which is what I was hoping for. I do wear this gloss often enough but some things do bug me about it.. After an hour or 2 of wear, it sort of pills on my lips and collects bits of dry skin I never knew I had. Then it looks like I have chunks and streaks on my lips, which means I have to wipe it off and reapply. Lovely nude gloss....takes a little effort to work but I still like it nontheless. A very flttering nude on my skintone.
Great liner, creamy consistency. I have now opted for brown liners as black just seems way too harsh for my blonde hair and fair skin. This stays on my lower and upper lash lines all day, no touch ups required, yet washes off with my normal makeup remover in the shower. Love love love, I will rebuy this stuff till I die.
I have been looking for a good undereye cream for around 2 years now, moreso for prevention of wrinkles and to treat my undereye circles. This stuff is great, a nice thick creme consistency. This doesn't melt into the skin as fast as the gel version, but I use this as an overnight treatment most nights and it works great for that (I wake up bright eyed!). I also like the ingredients list. The things I DON'T like are that it is in a pot, which doesn't feel hygenic. Again it doesn't soak in very fast and it's quite expensive. It reails around $58AUD but I got it for $38 with a voucher. I dont think I will run out of this anytime soon...it has a lot of product.
I brought this a few days ago and I now know it will be in my everyday makeup routine. I use this along with Posietint and it makes my complexion look...just so radiant! I dab this along my cheekbones and temple and get the most radiant sheen. Pros: * lovely texture * light pink base colour somehow perks up my skin * does not contain glitter, it's a sheen that gives you the perfect glow *lasts all day Cons: * way too expensive for what it is * I don't like the nail polish type applicator. But it'll have to do. * the concept of a highlighter is very dupeable, but I've found of all the ones I've tried, only this one lasts a full working day with NO touch up Its going to take me a long time to finish this, but I'd buy again. Definately recommend!
