This product is AWFUL!
Smell: kind of like grandma's old perfume. very very heavy..blech!
Shine power: Nonexistent. it says to apply to damp hair, then style normally. well after blowdrying, it looks like no shine product has been applied at all! doesn't add moisture OR shine! my hair didnt look 1-teeny-bit shinier at all, honestly.
Grease factor: HIGH. you only need literally a pea size (or dime size if you have more hair) amount of this crap, and even that is a risk for making your hair greasy. the consistency is as if someone took KY gelly and mixed it with mineral oil.
will NOT repurchase. i'm really bummed too.. because my moms hairstylist highly recommended it.. but even after SHE styled my hair with it, there was no shine. i even told her that i was disappointed with the results. *sigh* guess i'll just keep lookin'

There's nothing special about this at all. It kind of smells chemical-y..doesn't help break outs, only makes them more irritated..and it dried out my skin like CRAZY.. "gentle" MY ASS..'nuff said.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

This makeup is NOT non-comedogenic. So, it WILL make you break out, if you are easily prone to break-outs.
Also, it has man-made chemicals in it. READ THE LABEL. It is NOT "all natural minerals." It has ingredients that HAVE BEEN CLINICALLY PROVEN to promote skin irritation (like rashes) over time.
This makeup DOES take A LOT of time and patience to put on. Swirl, Tap, and Buff...... AND BUFF AND BUFF AND BUFF. F'ck that. All the stupid "buffing" makes my face itchy, and irritated. This is highly INconvenient.
Along the same lines, it is incredibly messy. So after you take 20 mins putting it on, you spend another 20 cleaning it up.
It enlarges your pores.
My skin ends up being more oily after an hour of wearing this crap than if i left my face all natural.
Please don't be bought by the flashy, soft focus advertising with pretty colors. There is NO such thing as a miracle foundation or powder. It's all trial and error. Mixing and matching. Nothing is perfect.
Will NOT repurchase.

I LOVE THIS STUFF. I have very combo skin (dry after i first wash it, and then extremely oily an hour later)... and after i tried this stuff, my eyeshadow has super long lasting power! It does stop working after about 3-4 hours though... i put it on after i wash my face and moisturize, and then i let it "dry" for a minute (its a cream form.. so "Dry" really isnt a good word.. perhaps "set up" would be better?) and then i go to town on my eyeshadow. it doesNT wipe off at all! the jar is little though.. i wish it was bigger. but i've had mine for a whole year, and that's using it 3 times a week. but i'm starting to run low, so YES! i NEED to repurchase!

I have 3 shades- Miss Moon (white/gold shimmer), High Roller (red/orange with gold/green shimmer), and Pistachio (yellow with green shimmer). And i LOVE THEM ALL. Very loose powder, a little goes a LONNNNNGGGGGG WAAAYYY! Looks amazing alone, or layered on top of a matte eyeshadow. Long lasting power too, doesn't crease (especially if you use Benefits FY Eye shadow base!). i probably wont repurchase because these 3 will last me FOREVER.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pink Venus Eye Shadow

Cute, candy colored pink with silvery microglitter in the pan. However, on my skin, the pink barely shows up (medium skin tone, green eyes, blond hair).. it takes heavy application for the shimmer AND pink to show up. but this is lovely to wear over a dark matte color. a container lasts forever so i probably wont need to repurchase.

How unique! It's brown! No, it's green! IT'S BOTH! If you look at it one way- its a green/aqua shimmer, another way- it's mbasic brown. I love this stuff. My only complaint is that it can be hard to show this shadows true potential on your eye. Requires heavy application to see the shimmer AND the brown. But it doesnt take a lot to just have the brown show up. Pairs lovely with "Shimmermoss" too!

Think: sexy shimmery mermaid. Boom. Shimmermoss. It's mermaid sex in a pan. Hah! Love this stuff.. ESPECIALLY with "Club" (aqua-shimmery brown).. A container lasts forever, so i probably wont need to purchase another one unless i run out.

Blech. I just didn't like this at all. I have a blush that is this same exact shade of pink/red/coral. So maybe that's what turned me off.. it just doesnt look right. It can make you look like you have pink eye. lol.. ah well. to each her own :)

I LOVE this color, in the pan. It's a sexy, bright, hot pinky-purple with silvery microsparkles. But, on my eye.. it's not so good. [I have green eyes, blond hair, medium skin tone.] Maybe it's just my container but.. it doesnt go on evenly. it's kind of chaulky.. and can make your eyes look bruise-ish. definitely needs heavy layering in order to show its true potential. might look good wet, and as an eyeliner though.. but will not repurchase.

I have green/hazel eyes, and blond hair.. and I've always been told to NEVER wear blue eyeshadow b/c it'll look bad. Well to hell with them! this was the first blue eyeshadow i ever purchased.. and i love it! i love using it as an eyeliner for my bottom lid, and then blending it with Benefit Show Off in "Miss Moon" on my top lid. it gives a sexy new-80's kind of feel. it's a shimmery medium-light blue. a containter lasts forever, so.. unless i lose it, i probably wont repurchase. but it is a lovely blue! defintely one of the more unique ones in MAC's collection. :)

Basic brown. Lovely.. defintely do not need much of this at all. but i recently saw a pic of me with it on, and it made my eyes look dirty/bruise-ish. :\ Soooo i dont know how i feel about it anymore. on my face, when i look in the mirror, i think it looks like a lovely, basic, shimmery brown. but it makes my eyes look like poopoo in pictures. probably will not repurchase, b/c a container lasts forever.

Sorry to be the bummer but.. i'm sick of people talking about how great this color is. It's a typical sea green. It only looks right on certain eye colors/skin tones ...blech. will not repurchase.

This color is so disappointing. In the container, it looks like a sexy black with red microglitter. It was the first MAC eyeshadow i ever bought. On the eye, its just a flat black, i cant get the red microglitter to show up at all! The only way i can see the true potential of this eyeshadow showing up is if you used it EXTREMELY heavily.. and then you'd look like a wh*re, or a clown. or if you have those huge deer-eyes, .. my eyes are unfortunately small, therefore, i done have much room for heavy shading, so Beauty Marked ALWAYS comes off as just a flat smokey-black. will not repurchase. :(

Eye Shadow -MAC - Trax

Trax is a very unique color.. in the conatiner, it looks like a plum+mauve+purple, with goldish shimmer. When applied, it comes off as a very very sheer plum/brown with the goldish shimmer. This color doesn't really look well when applied alone, it does look like you have a black eye ("bruise-ish" as everyone has said.) BUT, it looks lovely over other matte purples. Still, will not repurchase.
