I first used this mask nback in 1987, and it's nice to see that it's still around today. They must be doing something right! This will give you a deep pore cleansing and leave your skin shiny and clean! It's fun to use too! A keeper!

Treatments (Eye) -La Prairie - Lipo-Sculpting Eye Gel [DISCONTINUED]

One of a precious few eye treatments that actually work to reduce my puffiness. I love that it's a gel, but a non-drying gel. My eyes stay moist all day, but the puff goes down quick. I have recommended this product to many customers and I must say they do come back and tell me that they are happy with their purchase! I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

This cream will definitely keep you moistuized all day long. I absolutely love this cream. Very expensive, but woth it for the prolonged hydration benefits. Soothing as well, although that's not a key selling point. Great for winter months especially!

Treatments -Clarins - Face Treatment Oil - Lotus

For those of you who are truly oily, trust me and try this product. It was one of Clarins' original products and it remains in the line to this day for good reason. NO, it WILL NOT make you more oily. Remember, oil cuts oil, not water. You'll be amazed at the improvement in your skin in just a few days. It's a tough product to sell in the US, but it's a popular method of treating the skin in France. I love the smell to! Decent price considering one bottle lasts a long time.

Treatments -Clarins - Skin Beauty Repair Concentrate

AWESOME is the only word to describe this product. I always recommended it for sensitve skins, even before showing the customer the Gentle day and Night creams. This stuff is magic for truly sensitve skins. I also sold it to skin care junkies that had sensitized their skins by using way too many harsh products or just too many different product in general. Within days their skin was calmed down and I made them realize that more is not necessarliy better! This is a must have for anyone whose skin can get irritated easily. Simply a fantastic product!

Moisturizers -Clarins - Gentle Day Cream

This is, and has always been a perfect shoice for sensitive skins. I sold this line in the 80's and it was a constant best seller. My account executive, who was a man, swore by this stuff. I had a faithful following with the Gentle Day and Night creams. Ultra soothing, and especially good for men! This was years before the Clarins Man line. I's still use this over the Man line any day! If you're sensitive give this one a shot. It's been reformulated over the years, and it still maintains it's following!

Treatments -Clarins - Gentle Facial Peeling

Having tried this product on and off over the past 20 years, I just can't imagine using this stuff regularly. It's time consuming, MESSY and always leaves me annoyed that I fell for this again. With AHA's and enzymes on the market now, I see no need for a product that you have to push, pull and tug to get it off the skin. God forbid it get's too dry, you end up having to wash it off. Won't ever use again.

Perfect for late nights when you just don;t have the energy to do your whole routine! Not for daily use, but and as-needed type of product. You can actually feel a bit of a moisture cushion on your skin after wiping it away. Love the scent too! Keep this one on hand!

Toners -Erno Laszlo - HydrapHel Skin Supplement
rated 4 of 5
beautynyc 1/2/2006 7:12:00 PM

This is a perfect toner for dry and sensitive skins. I used this on days that I felt dry or on days that I shaved. It's a bit slick feeling, but it goes away fast. I never used a cotton pad with it since the thickness of the liquid made it a royal pain when trying to get the cotton to absorb it. I just pat-pressed it on and all was fine. Great for Fall and Winter months for slightly dry skins, but probably too much for Spring and Summer. Overall a nice product.

Treatments -Erno Laszlo - Total Skin Revitalizer
rated 5 of 5

This is a great product to add extra hydration to your skin. I find it particularly useful in the Winter months when the cold outside and the heat inside dries me out terribly. This has a very good slip to it, you don't need much at all. I use it after serum and before moisturizer as an added step when needed. I don't use it daily, just when I'm feeling dehydrated. The Hyaluronic Acid helps bind and hold water in the skin. A far better choice than YSL's Absolute Hydration or Chanel's Hydramax+ Serum. It's an older Laszlo product, but it remains in the line and for good reason. I use about 1-2 bottles a year. Try it!

Skincare - Face -Serious Skin Care - Dry-Lo Acne Spot Treatment
rated 5 of 5
beautynyc 1/2/2006 5:21:00 PM

I ALWAYS keep this product on hand. The Re Vive Serum Protectif usually keeps me zit-free. When I do feel trouble coming on, I break out the Dry-Lo and it kills anything in it's path. The sulfur is a bit stinky, but it's a vital part of the formulation. I always buy this in a kit so it's quite affordable. Must try!

Shave Products -I Coloniali - Shaving Balm with Mango Kernel Oil
rated 5 of 5
beautynyc 1/2/2006 5:16:00 PM

Very good shaving balm! No foam, no suds, just a smooth balm that let's your razor glide smoothly. Let's you see if you missed a spot since it's practically clear on the skin. The scent is fantastic, as is the case with all I Coloniali products. Would re-purchase!

Masks -Cle de Peau - Masque Transparence
rated 2 of 5
beautynyc 1/2/2006 5:13:00 PM

I just tried this mask again since it's been sitting in my medicine cabinet for a few months. I saw no results whatsoever. Definitely no boost in hydration as the company claims. I don't know what this mask is good for, really. The only suggestion I have for you is to put on your treatments first, then apply the mask on top to "seal in" the products and "force" the treatment deepr into your skin. That's how we recommended the Hydro-Minerali Deep Hydration Facial peel-off mask from Borghese 20 years ago. Other than that, this is a pretty ho-hum product. Fun to peel off though.

Fragrances -Boucheron - Jaipur Homme

A stunning fragrance, unlike any other! You can really smell the heliotrope in this one. I wear the Eau de Parfum...SPARINGLY! It's heavy duty, but having grown up in the 80's I know how to handle a scent this strong. Perfect winter scent, very warm and inviting! A keeper!

Fragrances -Annick Goutal - Eau de Lavande

This is a beautiful scent. I usually don't like single note fragrances, but this is an exception. Try mixing this with Eau d'Hadrien, you'll LOVE IT!!! Especially in the hot weather. This is always on hand in my fragrance collection.
