Pressed Powders -Origins - All or Nothing Pressed Powder
bbybreanna 6/6/2012 2:43:00 PM
wow. it controls oil amazingly, i usually have to touch up every hour or less but this keeps me shine free for at least two hours, maybe more. the thing i look for in powders is lightweight, controls oil, and pressed. this is perfect. i switched to this from lancome transulence because it did not control oil for more than an hour and it costs $29, while this is just a BIT cheaper at $25. i apply this with my too faced powder poof brush and over makeup forever matt velvet foundation. perfect! i will repurchase whenever i run out. this is my first origins purchase so im interested in trying out more makeup and skincare. :) i love that this brand is ALL natural with no parabens!

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers in Natural Twinkle
bbybreanna 6/5/2012 9:07:00 PM
if youre looking for a matte, natural and long lasting blush, definitley try this! i was a bit spectical because i usually get disappointed with drugstore makeup. it was $3.74 at target which is suuuuper cheap especially compared to mac, lancome etc. the brush that comes along is totally pointless, i use my elf professional blush brush to apply. at first the pigmentation is reaally low but if you keep building up the color it looks soo natural and pretty. so you can build up this blush to the amount of color you want which is great. the scent may throw people off, it does smell like baby powder and oldy lady perfume combined. but you cannot smell it on your face. the packaging is tiny and the product comes out rectangular, i agree if it was a compact (circle) itd be easier to apply.

Blush -Maybelline - FIT ME/light pink

NO pigmentation. AT ALL. if you swatch it with one finger you just get a light dust of light pink/white. totally pointless. do not waste your $4 (even less).

Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder
bbybreanna 5/30/2012 10:35:00 PM
i got the travel size, which is $15 but i think its still expensive. this can leave a slight white cask if applied too much. i looked ghostly white in flash photography. it made me skin feel dry... weird, which never happened to me with any kind of powder. i really wanted to like this...

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Liquid Eyeliner - Copper
bbybreanna 5/29/2012 8:21:00 PM
WOW! this glitter eyeliner is AMAZING. i use it on the inner half of my lower lashline to spice up the look. the product is really easy to apply if you're good with liquid liner. it does last all day. it does not fall out to your face like glitter shadows. it's really easy to remove, just wash it off! for $1, this is really amazing. i usually have a love/hate relationship with elf but this product is a must have. they have to make these in more colors!!!

Masks -Boots - Expert Anti-Blemish 2 in 1 Scrub Mask
bbybreanna 5/28/2012 10:51:00 PM
not sure if its too soon to review since ive only used it once. but i love it so far! its only $5.99 at target which is a good price for a good product, and ive heard good stuff about the brand overall. this is my first boots product. the product is creamy with tiny beads, similar to clinique's 7-day scrub beads. they are not harsh like st. ive's apricot scrub. its very gentle and unnoticeable like kate somervilles exfolikate. it feels great rubbing it against my face. as a mask i left it on for 5 minutes, and it slowly sinks in. it is not a colored mask. i really like how my skin feels afterwards, SUPER SMOOTH. it did not cause any redness. hopefully i get no allergic reaction or breakouts from this. as for blemishes i didnt see any difference obviously but hopefully it helps with acne.

Makeup Brushes -Too Faced - Powder pouf brush
bbybreanna 5/14/2012 7:22:00 PM
this is the SOFTEST brush i've ever came across. like crazy soft. i'm so happy i decided to purchase this. there is no shedding AT ALL. easy to wash and dries fast. i use this for my powder over liquid foundation. it has a cute baby pink handle with a cute bow (i'm pretty sure it's removable). i definitely recommend this. i think this would be good for applying liquid foundation as well but for now i'm only this for my powder. the only con for this brush is the price... $32. to me that's expensive for a brush, but i don't regret it because it's amazing quality.

Liquid -Sephora - Perfecting Cover Foundation
bbybreanna 5/12/2012 11:07:00 PM
I just bought this today, tried it on when i came home and applied with an elf studio blush brush. It took about two full pumps to get full coverage. One pump seems like it distributes too much product, but the product is in the watery side. The foundation is very blendable, doesnt feel greasy/oily, and doesnt take a long time to dry. This foundation is oil free so its good for all oily skinned and acne prone skin. Thats a big pro for me, another is that it is paraben free! I wish this was fragrance free... i instantly noticed a strong smell once applied and ive been wearing this for three hours and i still have a headache because of the scent. Thats probably the biggest con. I love how it covers acne and acne marks perfectly. This isnt cakey to heavy. After three bottles of estee lauder double wear, i decided to switch because i was tired of the cakey look abd having a tough time everg single night removing this. I got this for $11 at sephora i guess this is going to be discontinued soon because the original price was $26. Ill update on whether or not i break out, how easily it is to wash off, and how long this wears. But so far i really like it. EDIT: this product DID break me out. how did i know? i obviously started getting pimples, but i did have to blend this down my neck and i got about 2 pimples on my neck and i havent used any new products besides this on my neck. the second time i used this foundation the scent was not as strong. the wearing time is good for like 6-8 hours. to get ALL the product is a bit difficult. i have switched to revlon colorstay. im returning this foundation because the shade was a lil dark anyways and bc of everything i added in my edit. im giving this a 2, instead of a 4.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser
bbybreanna 5/9/2012 12:48:00 AM
you only need one pump per use because once on your face there is plenty of product! i like that its a foam, it doesnt feel heavy at all. easily washes off. no fragrance. i have not noticed any breakouts but at the same i have not noticed any clearing. i have moderate acne, & oily/dry combination skin i think this is an pretty good cleanser. i got it for $6 at ulta so the price is definitley pretty good compared to others. im not sure if i would purchase again because im still on the hunt for my HG cleanser thats good at removing makeup and acne. oh and btw this is really good with removing makeup! also, dont complain this dries out your skin. it has acne medicine in it. obviously

Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge in Love
bbybreanna 5/3/2012 8:22:00 PM
i have this shade in "corail in love" which is a very pretty, pink coral color. perfect for springtime. it's not too bright or overwhelming, it gives a pretty soft look. the wearing time on this is pretty good, not 6 hours but maybe 2-3 hours. when the lipstick comes off it stains the lips a little, but this is definitely not a lipstain. the product itself is not chalky, dry, heavy. it's PERFECT. i love the packaging, it's so luxurious - silver metal with a pop off cap. i would buy more shades, but this is a pretty pricey lipstick - $26! the price is the only con i can think of.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sexy Little Things Noir Tease

i have the body mist of this. the lasting power is ok. i seriously think this is a dupe for juicy couture perfume! the scent is not too strong, it is very feminine. not at all like old lady perfume, kind of like how juicy couture is.

Misc Beauty Tools -Tarte - Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler
bbybreanna 4/28/2012 5:08:00 AM
not the best but at the same time not the worse. i got this for $15 at sephora along with an extra curler pad a sample mascara, which is sort of a good deal but at the same pricey, at least in my opinion. this doesnt give me a false lash effect right away, but with one try it does curl my lashes... enough. it sometimes pinches my skin towards my inner corners so thats a big OUCH. im seriously considering returning and using the $15 for the mac lash curler.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Daydream Palette
bbybreanna 4/28/2012 5:04:00 AM
all the colors are pretty good pigmentation, not too chalky. the quality is pretty good. the packagaing is very cute, its a big flower! the packaging it comes with itself is like an CD player. i agree sometimes its hard to pick up the smaller shadows but i havent had a problem with colors mixing in with other colors. i like how theres a variety of different colors both matte and shimmer. this is made in china, which may concern some, and might be the reason why the quality isnt all that great compared to the other stila products. im pretty sure this was limited edition, i recieved mine as a gift but ive seen this at nordstrom rack for like under $15 i believe.

Eyes -E.L.F. - Natural Lash Kit-Black
bbybreanna 4/28/2012 3:48:00 AM
my go-to false lashes, i love how they're only $1, conveniently found at target. they stay on perfectly with duo lash glue in clear. the lash glue that comes with this kit has got to be a joke... it doesn't work AT ALL. but the lashes itself are amazing, they're not COMPLETELY natural but at the same time they're not dramatic. i think everybody should try these at least one. i have to cut them only by a little to make them fit my eye shape, that's probably the only con.
